Herman Bailey of Magnolia
Herman E. Bailey, age 89, of Magnolia, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at his residence.
A lifelong farmer, he was a member of Friendship #1 Baptist Church, an Army veteran of WWII and retired from American Air Filter as a Millwright
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Skaggs Bailey; his parents, Raymond Lee and Lovey Dye Bailey; a great-granddaughter, BreAnna Knighton; a brother, G. L. Bailey and his son-in-law, Harold Vaughn.
He is survived by a daughter, June Vaughn of Magnolia; two sons, Ken (Glenda) Bailey of Bonnieville and Keith (Terri) Bailey of Munfordville; six grandchildren, Mitchell (Debbie) Wells of Magnolia, Eric (Diane) Wells of Brownsville, Kevin Bailey of Bowling Green, Kris (Leanne) Bailey of Magnolia, Amy (Tom) Grizzell of Clearwater, FL and Tiffany (Louis) Ramirez of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Lucille (Howard) Skaggs of Upton, Lillian Murray of Magnolia and Gladys (Larry) Puckett of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Clifford Bailey and Preston (Jo) Bailey all of Elizabethtown; fourteen great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (ET), Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Gary Talley officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Friendship #1 Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 PM (ET), Friday and after 10 AM (ET) Saturday at the funeral home.

Beulah Polley of Magnolia
Beulah DeSpain Polley, age 94, of Magnolia, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, a homemaker and a former clerk for Middleton and Marcum in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis L. Polley in January of 2000; her parents, Edward and Mattie Loyall DeSpain; four sisters, Margaret Taylor, Clara Mather, Juanita Davis and Lucinda Flanders and four brothers, Albert, Orville, Bill and Leonard DeSpain.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Harry) Alexander of Hodgenville; a son, Jim (Eileen) Polley of Crestwood; three grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Alexander, Suellen (Greg) Russell and Katherine Polley; two sisters, Mickey Thompson and Doris Nunn and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Gary Talley and Rev. Jim Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM, Monday and after 10 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Doris Coffman Druen of Elizabethtown, formerly of Louisville
Doris Coffman Druen, age 75 years, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Louisville, passed away, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was the retired business owner of Variety Millwork.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Lee Druen, her parents, Robert Lee Coffman, Sr. and Phoebe Fields Coffman, a sister, Helen Tooley, and four brothers, Raymond Coffman, Silas Coffman, Daniel Coffman, and Walter Coffman.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Terry) Fields of Elizabethtown, a son, Steve (Dona) Druen of Hodgenville, a sister, Mary (Gerald) Silliman of Louisville, three brothers, Dr. Ralph (Mary Ann) Coffman of Mt. Washington, David (Vivian) Coffman of Louisville, and Robert L. Coffman, Jr. of Elizabethtown, two grandchildren, Cassandra Jones and Brandon (Jade) Bunnell, three step-grandchildren, Bradley Isaac, Tia Fields, and Zeb Fields, a great-grandson, Zachary Bunnell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Knoxes Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 AM to 8 PM (EST) Thursday, and after 9 AM (EST) Friday at the funeral home.
Pauline Taylor of Magnolia
Pauline Taylor, age 83 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at her residence.
She was a loving mother, devoted wife, and wonderful mamaw. She was a long time member of Magnolia Baptist Church, where she served as church custodian for over 40 years, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett "Buck" Taylor in September of 1992; an infant son, Harold Timothy Taylor; her parents, Clarence and Mayme Enlow Clyde and three brothers, Harold Clyde, Donnie Clyde and Bennie Clyde.
She is survived by two daughters, Reba (Donald) Baney and Glenda (Bill) Long all of Magnolia, a sister, Eloise Bland of Hodgenville, four brothers, Kenneth Clyde of Hodgenville, Paul Clyde and David Clyde both of Shepherdsville, and Gary "Deanie" Clyde of Columbus, Indiana, three grandchildren, Josh (Gloria) Baney, Brittany Baney, and Travis Baney, and a great-grandson, Amaru Cosme.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Talley and Rev. Jim Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, and after 9 AM Tuesday at Magnolia Baptist Church until time for services.
Dennis Whitlow of Magnolia
Dennis Wayne Whitlow, age 60, of Magnolia, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of the Aetna Furnace Baptist Church and Gavel Lodge #570 F&AM; and retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service as a Jet Engine Mechanic, having achieving the rank of Tech Sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Odell Pepper Whitlow.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Whitlow; a son, Jonathan (Laura) Whitlow of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Brenda (Walter) Milby of Summersville and Sue Lewis of Elizabethtown and six grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Jaiden, Parker, Cooper and Ariana.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (ET), Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bros. Steve Campbell and Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Summersville Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM (ET), Monday with Masonic Rites at 7 PM (ET) and after 9 AM (ET), Tuesday at the funeral home.
Lucille Goldsmith of Magnolia
Lucille Goldsmith, age 76 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Sonora.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassie Marie Goldsmith Dye, her parents, Grover Earl and Ava Mae Polston Childress, and two brothers, Dewey Childress and James Childress.
She is survived by two daughters, Freda Goldsmith of Sonora and Dianne (Gene) Willis of Hodgenville, two sons, Marvin Goldsmith of Hodgenville and Rodney Goldsmith of Edmonton, her husband, Gobel Goldsmith, four sisters, Shirley Crump, Earlyne Childress, and Donna Sweet all of Bonnieville, and Thelma Sizemore of Louisville, two brothers, Paul Childress of Glasgow and Virgil Stanley Childress of Munfordville, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon (EST) Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery near Bonnieville.

Elizabeth Scott Ray Garman, age 74, of Summersville, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2016, at her residence.
She was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church and a retired elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edmunds and Marjorie Million Ray, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Garman; a sister, Eloise (Tom) Wade of Rockville, MD and a special friend and caregiver, Regina Wethington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (ET), Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Dr. Wesley Paul officiating. Cremation will follow.
