Gonda McCubbin of Hodgenville
Gonda Pearl Dunn McCubbin, age 90, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Nolynn Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Edward McCubbin; a grandson, Marcus Ragland; a son-in-law, Bobby Sprowles; her parents, Roy and Carrie Wilkins Dunn and a brother, Ronald Dunn.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn McCubbin (Michael) Filicetti of Cookeville, Tennessee and Peggy Sprowles of Hodgenville; a son, Kevin (Gwen) McCubbin of Hodgenville; a sister, Betty Hornback of Hodgenville; a brother, Billy Dunn of Hodgenville, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 19, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Dan Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday and after 9 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Mary Perkins of Hodgenville
Mary Perkins, age 55, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at her residence.
She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Lee Hobbs, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Perkins; her mother, Betty Hobbs of Hodgenville; three sisters, Cathy Keith of Hodgenville, Linda Williams and Doris Campbell both of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Herbert Lee Hobbs, Jr. of Elizabethtown and David Hobbs of Louisville; special nieces and nephews, Betsy Michelle Keith, Betty Nicole Keith, Robert P. Keith and Carl D. Keith, Jr., and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church in Mt. Sherman with Revs. James Suits and Richard Binkley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 PM, Monday and after 10 AM Tuesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.

Milburn "Sawdust" Childress of Hodgenville, formerly of Mt. Sherman
Milburn "Sawdust" Childress, age 79, of Hodgenville, formerly of Mt. Sherman, passed away, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, and a retired Garage Foreman for the Kentucky State Highway Department.
Milburn "Sawdust" was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma "Pat" Skaggs Childress in 1984; his parents, Justice and Ida Ford Childress; a great-grandson, Waylon Lucas; and a step-brother, Frank Childress.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen (Kevin) Meredith of Hodgenville, Sharon Fulkerson and Jill (Gary) Valentine all of Elizabethtown; two sons, Philip (LaDona) Childress and Paul (Wendy) Childress all of Hodgenville; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday and after 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Virginia Martin of Campbellsville
Virginia L. Martin, age 73, of Campbellsville, passed away Friday, October 02, 2015, at the SHC of Elizabethtown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Harrison and Edna Mae Perkins Martin.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Edna VanCleave of Campbellsville and a brother, James Martin if Hodgenville.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Elmer Varnadore officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Saturday and after 12 noon, Sunday at the funeral home.
Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Chaudoin, Sr. of Hodgenville
Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Chaudoin, Sr., age 59, of Hodgenville, left this world on his own terms on Monday, September 21, 2015, at his residence, after a battle with cancer.
He was a retired truck driver and an avid farmer. He spent his free time pulling tractors with his son and granddaughter with the Central Kentucky RC Pullers.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Chaudoin and his father, Homer Lee Chaudoin.
Survivors include a son, R.W. (Amber) Chaudoin of Magnolia; his mother, Lovern Chaudoin of Hodgenville; his daughter-in-law, Desirae Chaudoin of Hodgenville; a brother, Donnie (Ruth) Chaudoin of Hodgenville; three sisters, Vickie (Ernie) West and Debbie (Donnie) Pack all of Hodgenville and Connie (Billy) Wilson of Magnolia; his three beautiful granddaughters and his reason for living, Madison, Haley and Avery and a special friend, Jolena Fulkerson of Upton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 PM, Wednesday and after 9 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.

Charles Hagan Edlin of Hodgenville
Charles Hagan Edlin, age 82 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his residence.
He was a member of Salem Christian Church, retired owner and operator of Charlie's Barber Shop from 1986 to 2007 in downtown Hodgenville, a United States Navy veteran, having served four years in the Korean War, a 1957 graduate of Tri City Barber College in Louisville, a longtime member of the DAV, American Legion, VFW, and Lions Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Hagan Edlin, Jr. and Patrick Neil Edlin, his parents, Ermine "Shot" and Edna Castleman Edlin, and a sister, Joyce Ann Edlin.
He is survived by his wife, of nearly 62 years, Mary Elizabeth Vaughn Edlin, a brother, Ronald Ray Edlin of New York, and several friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Gordon McDowell and Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Saturday, and after 9 AM Sunday at the funeral home until time for services.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Edith LaFollette of New Haven
Edith Frances LaFollette, age 72 years, of New Haven, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a faithful member of Union Christian Church, a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Bertha Mae Atherton LaFollette; a sister, Connie Carter, and six brothers, Phillip, Larry, Gary, Donnie, Glenn, and Arvin LaFollette, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Terry W. LaFollette; a daughter, Iris (J.R.) Donahue of New Haven; two sons, Terry D. (Sandy) LaFollette of Hodgenville and Steve (Monica) LaFollette of Clifton Park, NY; four sisters, Elsie Cundiff and Alberta Thompson both of Hodgenville, Faye LaFollette of Elizabethtown and Betty Strader of New Haven; two brothers, Floyd LaFollette of Hodgenville and Roger LaFollette of New Haven; ten grandchildren, Amy LaFollette, Wendi (David) Edwards, Scotty (Angie) LaFollette, Ashley (Doug) Thompson, Jessica (Brian) Shirley, Erika (Tyler) Jaggers, Levi (Jessica) LaFollette, Karrington Donahue, Alex Donahue, and Carson Donahue, and seven great-grandchildren, Ryan Edwards, Jackson Edwards, Bryce Edwards, Abigail LaFollette, Jarrod Shirley, Blake Shirley, and Dax Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Union Christian Church with Bro. Steve Campbell and Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM, Friday at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 11 AM, Saturday at the church until time for services.
