Betty Albright Shepherd
Betty Albright Shepherd, 78, of Lawrenceburg and Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Georgetown, died Dec. 5, 2004, at her residence in Florida. She was the wife of Thomas Shepherd.
A native of Bell County, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Jasmine Durham Albright.
Survivors include three daughters, Coni Laudenslager, of Virginia, Janice Johnson and Linda Flynn, both of Frankfort; two stepchildren, Tommy Shepherd, of Dallas, and Pasty Gaines, of Frankfort; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy Albright Jr., of Brownsville, Texas, and Richard Albright, of Shelbyville; two sisters, Doris Woodruff, of Georgetown, and Pat Vest, of Palmetto, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Robinson.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Johnson's Funeral Home, with the Rev. LeRoy Albright officiating.
Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m until the time of service Dec. 9.

Geneva Alice Kincaid Haaseth
Geneva Alice Kincaid Haaseth, 81, of Georgetown, died Nov. 21, 2004, at Dover Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Gayle Kincaid and Ed Haaseth.
She was formerly of Corinth and was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include, two daughters, Ina Mac Jones Lawson, of Falmouth, and Dixie Elam, of Georgetown; two stepdaughters, Kristi Smith and Allyn Sweet, both of Michigan; three stepsons, Ivan Haaseth, of Tennessee, and Magne and Terry Haaseth, both of Michigan; a brother, Maurice Riddle of Nicholasville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dixie Riddle and Jeanetta Tackett.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth.
Burial was at the New Columbus Cemetery in Corinth.

Mildred Richardson Cannon
Mildred Richardson Cannon, 86, of Newtown Road, died Nov. 22, 2004, at Dover Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John Francis Cannon.
A native of Stamping Ground, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Almira Hopkins Richardson. She was a homemaker and was also a member of the Oxford Christian Church and Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include, a son and daughter-in-law: Johnny and Jennie Cannon, of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Terry and Susan Tutt, whom she and her husband raised from childhood, Lou Ann (Marty) Williamson, Joel Moody Jr. and Jackie (Jason) Harris, all of Georgetown; seven great-grandchildren, Jill (Shawn) Lee, Jonathan Tutt, Bobby and Josh Williamson, Justin and Rebecca Moody and Jilliann Harris; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Smoot, of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews, including Ann Sharon Harris and Pat Kraft.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Lou Tutt and Ann Moody Williamson; a granddaughter, Kristen Carol Cannon; a sister, Jessie (Chic) Hampton and four brothers, Frank, J.C., Lewis and Bill Richardson.
Funeral services will be at 11 am. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Johnson's Funeral Home with the Rev. Susan Ellis and the Rev. Eddie K. Parker officiating.
Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Jimmy Richardson, Daryl Southworth, John Matheny, Phil House, Bobby Green, Larry Wood and Mark Johnson.
Honorary bearers will be Vivian Nave, Rebecca Cannon, Roberta Jarvis, Carrie Hall Green, Beulah Waits, Joyce Tackett, Hilma Pierce, Tina Bach, W.K. Henry, Paul Hollaran, C.A. Garnett and the Elders and Deacons of Oxford Christian Church.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Laura Kohut Emmons
Laura Kohut Emmons, 38, of Haverford Place, died Nov. 23, 2004, at her home. She was the daughter of Maryann Pickett Kohut, of Newport, R.I., and Daniel Kohut, of Cincinnati.
A Central Bank employee and native of Ithaca, N.Y., she was graduate of the University of Kentucky and a lover of music and drawing. She also spent the summers in Vermont while growing up.
Survivors include two sons, Jalen and Micah Emmons and their father Mike Emmons, all of Georgetown; a brother, Michael Kohut, of Savoy, Ill., an aunt, Sandra (Alan) Wilsey, of Queensbury, N.Y., three uncles, Thomas Pickett, of Florida, Mike Pickett, of Ft. Edward, N.Y., and William (Jacqueline) Pickett, of Connecticut; and several cousins, including Lisa, Tracy and Jeffrey.
She was preceded in death by a cousin, Michelle Wilsey.
Funeral services were held Nov. 26, 2004, at Johnson's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Fox officiating.

Betty Joyce Southworth
Betty Joyce Southworth, 68, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at her home in Georgetown. She was the wife of the late George Owen Southworth Sr.
She was born on Nov. 15, 1936, and was the daughter of Nellie B. Howard Jenkins, of Georgetown, and the late Leslie Clark Jenkins. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Frankfort and was the former owner of Southworth Cab Co.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda (Chuck) Rodgers, Darlene Hopkins, and Beverly (Danny) Casteel, all of Georgetown; a son, George (Nola) Southworth Jr., of Frankfort; grandchildren, Brad Southworth, Garret Metts, Kathy Christopher, Katie Borgel, Fred Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, Travis Hopkins, Kristin VanName, Leslie Hopkins and Ryan Casteel; great-grandchildren, Alexa Hopkins, Will Southworth, Kaylan Borgel and Laura Barker.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Lester officiating.
Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Brad Southworth, Travis Hopkins, Ryan Casteel, Red Rodgers, Chuck Rodgers, Skip Hopkins and Danny Casteel.
Geneva Haden Henderson
Geneva Haden Henderson, 77, of Dry Ridge Road, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at her residence. She was the wife of Clyde S. Henderson, of Frankfort.
The daughter of the late John Albert Haden and Ella Kate Edgar Haden, she was born in Anderson County, Feb. 20, 1927. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Edith May Brown, of Lexington, and Linda Fay Wood, of Hopkinsville; a son, Dan Cook, of Frankfort; a sister, Gladys Payton, of Indiana; a brother, Clarence Haden, of Shelbyville; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Coffey; a sister, Myrtle Vandiver; and two brothers, Jesse and Paul Haden.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Clark Funeral Home in Frankfort, with Charles E. Brown officiating.
Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers were Matt Brown, Dan Cook Jr., Herbert Monroe, Kevin Cook, Elmer Powers and Roy Ricketts.
