Kenneth Marvin Hornback, 57
Kenneth Marvin Hornback, 57, Fernandina Beach, Fla., died May 30, 2004, at his residence.
A native of LaRue County, Hornback was a member of Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station, a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired forklift operator for General Electric Appliance Park in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Marvin and Lucille Woods Hornback; and a brother, David Leo Hornback.
Survivors include: a daughter, Carol Wohlgamuth of Satellite Beach, Fla.; two sons, Bob Morris of Bardstown and Ronald Anthony "Tony" Hornback of New Haven; a sister, Katherine Diane Hornback of Lyons Station; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 5 at Rolling Fork Christian Church, Lyons Station, with burial in Edlin Creek Cemetery. Bro. Tim Underhill officiated.

Donald G. "Don" Drake
Donald G. "Don" Drake, 71, husband of Barbara Jean Bowlin Drake, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at UK Markey Cancer Center. Born in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Burgess and Mary Drake. Drake was a retired administrative assistant at the VA Hospital and worked part time at Central Baptist Hospital. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Tates Creek Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Drake (John) Gennuso, of Lexington; a son, Brian (Tammy) Drake, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Jordan Gennuso, Brayden Gennuso, Brittany Drake, Dylan Drake and Josh Johnson; three sisters, Louise Martin, Barbara Hughes and Betsy Howorth; and a brother, Larry Drake. He was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Duncan. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road. with Bro. Gene Young and Bro. Randy Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Georgetown. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at the funeral home. Mildred McIntosh Lawrence
Mildred McIntosh Lawrence, 76, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was the widow of Lester McIntosh and Smith Lawrence.
She was born April 29, 1929, in Scott County and was the daughter of the late Luther and Della Hall Williams Sr. She was a member of Newtown Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Lou Ray, of Georgetown, Maxine Riley, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Leslye (Michael) Schrank, of Centerville, Va.; a grandson, Michael (Marla) Fulton; four granddaughters, Paula Johnson, Michelle Hill, Kathy (Matthew) Hughes and Kelly Hill; six great-grandsons, Dominic Siethel, Miles Johnson, Silas Johnson, Michael T. Fulton, Isaiah Baker and Jayden Jackson; a great-granddaughter, Maria Grace Hughe; two sisters, Catherine Nutter Whitlock and Louie Hambrick, both of Georgetown; and a brother, Leslie Williams, of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Luther Williams Jr.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Newtown Christian Church, with the Rev. Robert Franz officiating.
Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Michael Schrank, Michael Fulton, Ernie Stallard, Matthew Hughes, Clifford McIntosh and Jess Cosby.

Henry T. Pollard
Henry T. Pollard, 77, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at his home in Newport News, Va. He was the widower of Ella Marie Pollard.
He was born March 5, 1929, to the late Elbert and Beatrice Minor Pollard Sr. He was raised in Washington, Pa., and he graduated from Trinity High School. He served with the U.S. Army, and he retired from the sanitation department, where he worked for the City of Chicago.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Donald Pollard, Barbara J. Gray, Kenneth Pollard, Janet Pollard, Beverly Boynton and Elbert Pollard Jr.; and a first cousin, Leola Lewis.
Services were held Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, with Dr. Frank Houston officiating.
Burial was in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Roy Thomas Watson
Roy Thomas Watson, 74, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Georgetown Community Hospital. He was the husband of Andrea Ritchie Watson.
He was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Scott County to the late Arnold Eli and Lillie Mae Willhoit Watson. He was a retired Air Force veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a retired civil servant, a member of Gano Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and the Georgetown-Scott County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons; Mark E. (Becky) Watson, of Sandpoint, Idaho, Adam J. (Kim) Watson, of Hopkins, S.C., and Thomas R. Watson Rensselaer, of New York; three stepsons, James (Dayna) Fuller, of Lexington, William D. (Anna) Fuller, of Winchester, and Andrew C. (Stephanie) Fuller, of Cottageville, S.C.; two brothers, Fred (Sue) Watson and Arnold Edgar Watson, both of Lexington; three sisters, Lois (the Rev. Orville) Griffin, of Georgetown, Lillie Furne (Charles) Spaulding, of Hurst, Texas, and Linda (Gary) Power, of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Josh Watson, Kristen Watson and Juilet Watson; and six step-grandchildren, Tara Fuller, James Corbin Fuller, Sean Fuller, Savannah Fuller, Andrew Corbin Fuller II and Gracyn Fuller.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dewayne Russell officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Sean Fuller, Josh Watson, Bryan Watson, Duane Power, James Berry and Carlos.
Honorary bearers will be Savannah Fuller, Gracyn Fuller, Juilet Watson, Kristen Watson, Andrew Corbin Fuller II, Tara Fuller and James Corbin Fuller. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Frances Weaver Lawton
Frances Weaver Lawton, 86, of Georgetown, formerly of East Aurora, N.Y., died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Dover Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Luther Lawton.
A native of Altamont, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Louise Carkner Weaver. An avid quilter, she was a founding member of the South Towns quilters, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a former 4-H leader for more than 20 years, all in East Aurora. She was also a member of the Elkhorn Homemakers in Georgetown.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Adams, of Georgetown, and Kathy DelPrincipe, of Schenectady, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Doug and Patty Adams, Barbie A. Minch, Philip DelPrincipe and Jennifer Elmendorf; and five great-grandchildren, Chase and Evan Adams, Trenton Minch, Philip DelPrincipe II and Gabrielle DelPrincipe.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Johnson's Funeral Home by Dr. Larry Hall.
Burial will be held later this week in North Collins Cemetery, North Collins, N.Y. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Howard Gibson
Howard Gibson, 70, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Judy Votaw Gibson.
He was born March 17, 1934, in Lancaster and was the son of the late James S. and Alice Adams Gibson. He was a veteran of the Navy and was a retired engineer for Johnson Controls.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Wallin; two grandchildren, Leslie and Brandon Wallin, all of Marietta, Ga; two sisters, Helen Elliott, of Lawrenceburg, and Lee Ora Jackson, of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Leonard Gibson, of Radcliff, and Lewis Gibson, of Hamilton, Ohio. Gibson is also survived by his fiancee, Janet Perkins, of Stamping Ground.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Gibson; and two brothers, James and Everett Gibson.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home.
Burial was in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
Ewel Musselman Smith
Ewel Musselman Smith, 96, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Beverly Health & Rehab in Frankfort. She was the wife of the late Guy Smith.
She was born Sept. 23, 1908, in Owen County to the late Wyatt and Susan Musselman. She was retired as a cook from the John Graves Ford Memorial Hospital and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Denzil G. Smith, of Lexington; three grandchildren, Bobbi Varela, of Lapeer, Mich., Denzil Glen Smith Jr., of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Kenneth Michael Smith, of Georgetown; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 31, 2004 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lowell Coots officiating.
Burial was at Minorsville Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Gayle Graves, Kenneth Smith, Jackie Wash, Jerry Lynn, R.C. Lynn and Glen Smith.
