James Allen Sanders, 36
James Allen Sanders, 36, a resident of Elm Street, Cynthiana, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at Bourbon General Hospital in Paris, Ky.
He was born Sept. 20, 1967 in Harrison County, to Linda Fay Markland Mitchell of Paris, and the late Russell Sarah Sanders.
Survivors include: his wife, Alice Wiggins Sanders; a son, Justin Sanders of Cynthiana; a brother, Joseph Ray Sanders of Paris; and a sister, Deborah Young of Georgetown.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the Harrison County Cemetery.
Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
L.B. Collinsworth, 66
L.B. Collinsworth, 66, a resident of Rolla, Mo., formerly of Morgan in Pendleton County, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at the Phelps County Hospital in Rolla.
He was born June 3, 1938 to the late Beecher and Fannie Dyer Collinsworth. He was a heavy equipment operator and member of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include: his wife, Joan Collinsworth; and one sister, Jewell Eibeck of Falmouth, Ky.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Aug. 8 at the Morgan Cemetery in Pendleton County by Shelby McDowell. The Hardin-Browning Post 109 provided full military honors.
Pallbearers were: Ron Trasher, Tommy Turner, Johnny Tracker, James Sudder, Steve Jackson, and Roger Jackson.
Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Katherine 'Kathy' Spigles Sams, 52
Mary Katherine 'Kathy' Spigles Sams, 52, a resident of Old Lair Road, Cynthiana, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in Harrison County, Nov. 28, 1951, to the late Earl Jr. and Evelyn Sanders Spigles. She was a 3M Company employee.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymond Lee Sams; a brother, Robert Mosley Spigles Sr. of Harrison County; four sisters, Cheryl Lane Clifford of Frankfort, Margaret Lee Stanfield of Bourbon County, Pamela Joyce Earle of Harrison County, and Patricia Ann Fox of Lee County; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 2 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Gary McQuain. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Pallbearers were: Raymond Sams, David Clifford, Harry Stanfield Jr., Gary Stanfield, Ray Rawlins, and Jonathan Levart.
Thorne Clay McLoney, 73
Thorne Clay McLoney, 73, a resident of Charlotte Drive, Cynthiana, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004.
He was born in Warren, Ohio, Jan. 8, 1931, to the late Douglas and Mary Elizabeth Bullus McLoney. He was a recently retired electrical inspector, former owner of McLoney Electrical Wholesale, a member of First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana, and an Army veteran.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Ruth Lebus McLoney; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Guy Huguelet of Lexington; a brother and sister-in-law, Douglas W. and Jean McLoney of Morehead; two grandsons, Guy A. "Alec" Huguelet IV and Thorne Clay Huguelet; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 4 at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Allen Gibson.Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana or the American Diabetes Association.

Michael Louis Lizer, 50
Michael Louis Lizer, 50, of Cynthiana, died Sunday, July 25, 2004.
He was born February 26, 1954 in Harrison County to the late Louis Lizer and Dorothy Stivers Hopkins of Cynthiana. He had been employed by Bundy Tubing and Hamilton and Ryker.
Survivors include: his wife, Vicki Lynn Roe Lizer; his mother, Dorothy Stivers Hopkins; one son, Anthony Lizer of Lexington; three stepsons, Jamie Lanter, Rusty Lanter and Richard Lanter, all of Paris; two daughters, Shannon Lizer of Paris and Julie Lizer of Lexington; two stepdaughters, Tara Jones and Page Bartlett, both of Paris; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Roger Feeback.
Lida Moran Linville, 79
Lida Moran Linville, 79, a resident of the Robertson County Health Care Facility, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004.
She was born in Mason County, April 18,1925, to the late George and Suzie Stanfield Moran. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Junior Hart; a daughter, Betty Price; two brothers, Buck Moran and J.C. Moran; and a sister, Pauline Nickerson.
Survivors include: her husband, Gordon L. Linville; two sons, Ronnie Hart of Tollesboro, and Lovell Linville of Lexington; three daughters, Martha Howell of Maysville, Bonnie Schauffenburger of Germantown, and Beatrice Linville of Tollesboro; a twin sister, Nellie Linville of Carlisle; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 5 at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Piqua Cemetery.
Tyler Ross Hargett, 16
Tyler Ross Hargett, 16, of Augusta, Ky., died July 30, 2004 in Bracken County.
He was on January 20, 1988 in Mason County to Gregory W. and Rebecca A. Hargett of Augusta, Ky. He was a student at Bracken County High School and was employed by R and T Mowing.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Hargett.
Survivors include: his grandparents, Roger and Ann White and Mary Hargett; a sister, Mary Margaret Hargett of Brooksville, Ky. and a nephew, James Kaiden Benedict.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 2, 2004 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial was in Lenoxburg Cemetery in Lenoxburg, Ky.

Geneva Lillie-Parker, 82
Geneva Lillie-Parker, 82, a resident of Bridgeport, Conn., and native of Cynthiana, died July 22, 2004 in Dayton, Ohio were she resided for the past seven years.
She was born in Cynthiana, Ky., June 29, 1922, to the late Arnett and Clara Coleman-Lillie. She was a retired librarian for the City of Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Parker, a daughter, Carolyn Leona Parker, a sister, Arnetta Lillie-Conner, and a brother, William "Jack" Lillie.
She graduated from Banneker High School as valedictorian of her class and continued her educational studies at Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. She was of the Christian faith, and played the piano for the young adult choir at Macedonia Baptist in Cynthiana, Ky.
Survivors include: her nieces and nephews, William "Tussel" Conner (Kim), Carlotta Conner-Johnson (Mose), Joyce Conner, James "Brad" Conner (Marilyn), Maria Conner Weathers (Tony); and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
