George M. "Mac" McCoy
OWENSBORO -- George M. "Mac" McCoy, 63, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at his home here.
He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed golf, basketball, and was a former member of Lions Club. He was an Associated Press field technician who worked in nine different AP offices during his 40-year career. He had been based in Owensboro, maintaining AP equipment at newspapers and broadcast stations in western Kentucky and southern Indiana. He began his career as an office assistant in the AP's Louisville bureau in 1960. His work took him to New Orleans; Albuquerque, N.M.; Indianapolis; Columbus, Ohio; and two stints each in New York and St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Young McCoy; three daughters, Carrie Lynn Harpenau of Destin, Fla., Lisetta Jean Whitworth of Madisonville, and Lenna Marie Chapman of Long Island, N.Y.; one stepdaughter, Deanna Adkinson of Paducah; one stepson, Darrick Lee of Ledbetter, Ky.; one sister, Betty Hayes of Flat Rock, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Dr. Tommy Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

F.S. "Dan" Brame
HOPKINSVILLE -- F.S. "Dan" Brame, 88, Hopkinsville, died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Christian Health Center here.
He was an agriculturist, and a county agent in Rowan, Hart, Hopkins, and Warren counties. He was a manager in several areas for Southern States. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and Pembroke Ruritan Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Payne Brame, who died in 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Cruse of Georgetown, Ky., and Barbara Sterchi of Greensburg, Ind.; one son, Dan Brame of Austin, Texas; one brother, Bob Brame of Gracey, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Maddux Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. The Rev. Mike McCawley will officiate. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in LaFayette, Ky.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Salem Baptist Church, the Arthritis Foundation, or Gideons International.
Eva M. Rideout
LAKELAND, Fla. -- Eva M. Rideout, 91, Lakeland, formerly of Henderson, died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Good Shepard Hospice Residential Facility here.
She was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland. She was a former member of Audubon Baptist Church in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Lewis Rideout Sr., who died in 1987.
Survivors include three sons, the Rev. R. Louis Rideout of Tullahoma, Tenn., Charles E. Rideout of Lakeland, and the Rev. Raymond Rideout of Johnson City, Ill.; one sister, Catherine Gebheard of Evansville; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson.
Catherine M. Gibson
Catherine M. Gibson, 71, Henderson, died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at her home.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was retired from Henderson Community College, where she served for many years as the college president's secretary.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Arnold Gibson; two daughters, Karen Toth of Independence, Kan., and Judy Ruark of Henderson; one sister, Joyce White of Austin, Texas; one brother, Ray C. McClure of La Porte, Ind.; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Revs. K. Richard Holladay and Rebecca Curry will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Perry Edward Sharp
Perry Edward Sharp, 66, Henderson, died of complications from a stroke Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at his home.
He was formerly employed at Accuride in Henderson. He had lived in Evansville and worked at Babcock and Wilcox and Karges Furniture. He was of the Baptist faith. He also enjoyed square dancing and collecting antiques.
Survivors include one daughter, Zona Morgan of Evansville; one sister, Mallie Hargis of Henderson; three brothers, Leon Sharp of Smithland, Ky., Wesley Sharp of Nashville, Tenn., and Alan Sharp of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Browning Funeral Home in Evansville. The Rev. Walter Ullman will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Evansville.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after noon Monday at the funeral home.

MORGANFIELD -- Jerry Graham, 65, Morganfield, died as a result of a heart condition at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Graham; one sister, Patsy Graham Smith of Russellville, Ala.; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Daniel Askew will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Uniontown.

Helen Joyce Wolfe
WAVERLY -- Helen Joyce Wolfe, 74, died of cancer at 1 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at her home here.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Wolfe, who died in 1968.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Louis Wolfe; two daughters, Jeannie Girten of Uniontown and Barbara Jenkins of Morganfield; three sons, Arnold Wolfe and Kenny Wolfe, both of Morganfield, and Gary Wolfe of Waverly; two sisters, Betty Buckman of Buda, Ill., and Lucille Liesse of Delzell, Ill.; three brothers, Tom Blandford of Wyanet, Ill., David Blandford of Rockford, Ill., and Larry Blandford of Buda; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield. The Rev. Pat Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
