Roberta B. Rogers
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- Roberta B. Rogers, 83, Hilton Head Island, formerly of Henderson, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Tide Pointe Broad Creek Care Center in Hilton Head Island.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson and worked for 22 years as secretary and treasurer for the Henderson County Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. "Al" Rogers, who died Dec. 16, 2000.
Survivors include one son, Larry Rogers of Hilton Head Island; one sister, Helen Davis of Grayville, Ill.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairmont Mausoleum Chapel in Henderson. The Rev. Alan Chamness will officiate. Entombment will be in Fairmont Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.

Harold Wesley Baggerly Sr.
Harold Wesley Baggerly Sr., 80, Henderson, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
He attended First United Methodist Church in Henderson and Dixie United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Baggerly Motors in Henderson and Evansville and Baggerly Shell Service Station in Evansville. He was also a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge No. 9.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Myra L. Perigo Baggerly, who died July 12, 1997.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Clark of Houston, Texas; one son, Harold Wesley "Hal" Baggerly Jr. of Little Dixie; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Sylvia Gertrude Shelton
Sylvia Gertrude Shelton, 81, Henderson, died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at her home.
She was a member of Kindred Spirit Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Owens of Dixon, and Freda Rigdon and Brenda Pippin, both of Henderson; three stepdaughters, Mandy Stone, Bessie Simpson, and Elizabeth Stone, all of Henderson; one stepson, Robert Shelton of Robards; one sister, Bessie McCormick of Henderson; one brother, J.T. Stone of Corydon; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Revs. Gerald Wilson and Paul Brace will officiate. Burial will be in Shelton Cemetery in Webster County.

Doris Jean Montgomery Cravens
Doris Jean Montgomery Cravens, 72, Baskett, died at 11:53 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She was a member of the Spottsville Baptist Church and the Women's Democratic Club in Henderson.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Paul Cravens; two daughters, Lois Utley of Henderson County and Sandra Crippen of Millersport, Ohio; one brother, Kenneth Montgomery of Henderson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.

Carl Nall
DIXON -- Carl Nall, 92, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at his home here.
He was a retired coal miner and was still active in farming. He was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabel Nall, who died in 1979.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Joyce Nall; two stepdaughters, Mitzi Springfield and Kim Clark, both of Dixon; two sons, Jerry Nall of Owensboro and Stan Nall of Providence; one stepson, Jeff Davenport of Clay; one brother, Jake Nall of Hamersville, Ohio; two sisters, Gladys Fondella of Prospect, Conn., and Coleen Edwards of Providence; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Townsend Funeral Home. The Revs. Rex Childs and Johnnie Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon.

Ada E. Ashby
UNIONTOWN -- Ada E. Ashby, 96, Uniontown, died at 7:51 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a school teacher and a nurse.
Survivors include nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Anna B. Wright of Uniontown, who was her caretaker.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Revs. Jim Adams and Bob Tucker will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Uniontown.

Carlyle R. Bryant
BOWLING GREEN -- Carlyle R. Bryant, 78, Bowling Green, died at 4:55 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was in the construction department for the Kentucky Department of Transportation. He was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen McFarland Bryant; two sons, Ronnie Bryant and Alan Bryant, both of Bowling Green; two daughters, Kathy Marable of Henderson, and Vickie Seeger of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, J.C. Bryant of Smiths Grove, Ky.; four grandchildren; a niece and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Funeral Chapel in Bowling Green. Pastor Phil Coomer will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
