William "Warren" King
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- William "Warren" King, 82, formerly of Henderson, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at his home here.
He retired as a service operations manager with the Eaton Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio, and Henderson, after 40 years service. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps World War II veteran and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy K. King; one son, Kenneth Warren King of Lakewood, Ohio; two daughters, Kelly King Steinwachs of Port Charlotte and Karen King Hiatt of Rocky River, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Joseph Duncan
MORGANFIELD -- Joseph Duncan, 80, Morganfield, died at 7:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Union County.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Duncan; one daughter, Brenda Duncan of Morganfield; seven sons, Eddie Duncan of Waverly, Kenny Duncan of Morganfield, Jackie Duncan of Evansville, Gerald Duncan of Wheatcroft, Roger Duncan of Uniontown, Tom Duncan of Webster County, and Johnny Duncan of DeKoven; three sisters, Martha Russelburg and Mary Frances Fletcher, both of Sturgis, and Mabel Reburn of Morganfield; one brother, Earl Glenn Duncan of Sturgis; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield. The Rev. Pat Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, where prayers will be said at 7 tonight.
Georgia Mills
MORGANFIELD -- Georgia Mills, 74, Morganfield, died of pneumonia at 6:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Wellington Park in Owensboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrl Mills, who died in 1984.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Berry of Morganfield; one half-sister, Eileen Dubord of Henderson; two grandchildren; and a nephew.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Pat Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.

Robert Black Jr.
CLAY -- Robert Black Jr., 73, Clay, died of respiratory failure at 10:59 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion.
He was a truck driver and a member of the Sullivan VFW Post No. 5486. He was a member of Blackford Baptist Church in Blackford. He was also a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Black, who died in 1983.
Survivors include five daughters, Paula Samuel of Marion, Janie Jeffrey of Fredonia, Ky., and Julie Blackburn, Lori Shelton and Clara Vanover, all of Clay; one son, Anthony Black of Marion; six sisters, Willie Mae West and Mary "Tootsie" Wilson, both of Henderson, and Emma Hinton, Joy Oldham, Mattie Sigler, and Louise McKeehan, all of Clay; one brother, Prentice Stone of Corydon; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Bros. Robert Phillips and Wilbur Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Black Grove Cemetery near Blackford.

Katherine Blanc Mitchell
OWENSBORO -- Katherine Blanc Mitchell, 86, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at her home here.
She was retired from Kentucky Wesleyan as professor emeritus after 27 years of teaching French and Spanish. She was a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church, Owensboro Women's Club, Hospital Auxiliary, and the Itineris Club. She volunteered at the Owensboro Area Museum and began her career teaching English at Henderson County High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack U. Mitchell, who died in 1993.
Survivors include one son, Joseph B. Mitchell of Bakersfield, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Ann Mitchell of Fort Worth, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. The Rev. Jeff Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Kathleen Dodson Felty
Kathleen Dodson Felty, 84, Henderson, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Medco Center of Henderson.
She was a member of Audubon Baptist Church, where she was active in the choir and nursery and secretary of her Sunday school class. She was also an avid seamstress.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jean Felty, who died in 1958.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Rudy E. Felty; three daughters, Jacki Wilson and Connie Galloway, both of Henderson, and Sharon Felty Comer of Frankfort; one son, Rudy D. Felty of Henderson; four sisters, Mary Amet of Henderson, Dorothy Liles of Robards, Pauline Haynes of South Carolina and Ann Rideout of Tennessee; one brother, Wilbur Dodson of Henderson; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Martha Helen Willett
Martha Helen Willett, 71, Henderson, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and the Henderson Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Willett, who died in 1991, and a son, Roy T. Willett, who died in 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Joney Black of Henderson, Judy E. Moore of Morganfield and Frances Miller of Evansville; four sons, William Willett and Tommy Willett, both of Waverly, and Herman D. Willett and Tony Willett, both of Henderson; two sisters, Nettie Howard of Webster County, and Juanita Hodges of Long Boat, Fla.; one brother, William "Sonny" O'Nan of Owensboro; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peters Catholic Church in Waverly. The Rev. Bob Willett will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in Waverly.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m.
