MORGANFIELD -- Clara Evelyn Willett, 55, Morganfield, died of kidney failure at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
Survivors include one sister, Henrietta Wilson of Morganfield; two brothers, David Oliver of Morganfield and William Cortez Oliver of Evansville; and three nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Morganfield. The Rev. Ira Higgins will officiate.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
Sue Delker
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Sue Delker, 78, formerly of Henderson, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Hope Hospice here after a short illness.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, John J. Delker; one daughter, Tink Martin of Evansville; one son, John Delker of Rockport, Ind.; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service was held Monday in Ft. Myers.

John C. Weiner
John C. Weiner, 76, Henderson, died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. He was retired from the Henderson Post Office and also worked for both Audubon State Park and the Kentucky State Highway Department. He was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Weiner, who died Oct. 11, 1996.
Survivors include four daughters, B.C. Weiner of Albuquerque, N.M., Linda Bates of Clay, Debi Hall of Henderson, and Christy Kirchoff of Evansville; two sons, Barry Weiner of Bunnlevel, N.C., and Danny Weiner of Central City, Ky.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Private services will be conducted at a later date. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.
There will be no visitation.

Mary Elizabeth "Bess" Hatchett
Mary Elizabeth "Bess" Hatchett, 86, Henderson, died at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home.
She was a member of Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Henderson. She was also a retired insurance agent and Methodist Hospital employee. She was educated in the Henderson County school system.
She was preceded in death by a son, Minor U. Johnson, who died in 1986.
Survivors include grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Randy Eldridge will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
R.M. "Bally" Cashen Sr.
OWENSBORO -- R.M. "Bally" Cashen Sr., 93, Owensboro, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Breckenridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, Ky.
He was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro, the Knights of Columbus, and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was retired after 37 years as superintendent of measurement at Texas Gas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Drury Head Cashen, who died in 1989; and a daughter, Wanda Payne.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Wilson of Henderson, and Violet Kunau of Louisville; four sons, R.M. "Dick" Cashen Jr. of Hammond, Ind., Ray Cashen and Larry Cashen, both of Louisville, and Wayne Cashen of Hardinsburg; two sisters, Lois Greenwell and Madeline Crowe, both of Owensboro; 29 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro. The Rev. Joseph Rhodes will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Philbert L. Vaughn
Philbert L. Vaughn, 71, Henderson, died at 7:56 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
He was retired from Eaton Axle and served as a firefighter for the Henderson Fire Department for five years. He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Barker Stinson, who died in 1976.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Frances Vaughn; one daughter, Traci Vaughn Cingle of Mountville, Pa.; two sons, Scott Vaughn and Eric Stinson, both of Henderson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Vowels, Alex Kellen, Danny Sandefur, Monty Ward, David Clement, and John Clement.
Mark Mahurin
DIXON -- Mark Mahurin, 50, Dixon, formerly of Onton, died of cancer at 6:48 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a member of the Onton United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Webster County High School, former president of Webster County Babe Ruth youth baseball, and a former volunteer fireman with the Onton Fire Department. He was an operator II Slaughters Compressor with Williams Gas Pipeline Company.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Catlin Mahurin; two daughters, Marcy Mahurin of Dixon, and Mandy Fambrough of Onton; one son, Ryan Mahurin of Dixon; his parents, Thornton and Jane Mahurin of Onton; two sisters, Jill Simpson of Onton, and Shelia Smith of Lexington; his grandmother, Alberta Davis of Evansville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tompkins Funeral Homes, Slaughters-Hanson Chapel in Slaughters. The Revs. Selby Coomer, Billy Raby, and David Bumpus will officiate. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery.
