Patricia A. Parker, 63, Henderson, died at 6:49 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca D. Williams of Pascagoula, Miss.; one son, Allen Boles of Southport, Fla.; one brother, James D. Beck of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Elizabeth H. Blake
MORGANFIELD -- Elizabeth H. Blake, 82, Morganfield, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Blake, who died in 1965.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie B. White of Henshaw, Ky.; three sons, Michael R. Blake and Samuel C. Blake, both of Waverly, and Kenneth E. Blake of Philadelphia, Pa.; four sisters, Jane Brown of Morganfield, Clemmie Dossett of Sturgis and Sister Virginia Hancock and Sister Eleanor Teresa Hancock, both of Louisville; three brothers, John B. Hancock of Morganfield, Clyde Hancock of Louisville and Malcolm Hancock of Evansville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick M. Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Union County.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Saturday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, where prayers will be said at 5:45 tonight.

Martella Sibley
MORGANFIELD -- Martella Sibley, 79, Morganfield, died from complications of pneumonia at 4:37 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Roosevelt Sibley Jr., who died in 1983.
Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Sibley Sr.; five daughters, Earthene Sibley of Henderson, Jewel Sibley and Vivian Sibley, both of Morganfield, Lenora Smith of Atlanta, and Sylvia Helums of Dallas; four sons, Freeman Sibley of Morganfield, Archie Sibley of Dayton, Ohio, Lemuel Sibley of Indianapolis and Ronald Sibley of Texas; one sister, Carolyn Vaughn of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Ira Higgins will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.

Dorothy Sue Miller
STURGIS -- Dorothy Sue Miller, 76, Sturgis, formerly of Louisville, died at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at the Salem Springlake Care Center in Salem, Ky.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sturgis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. Miller, who died in 1998.
Survivors include one sister, Shirley Brown of Clay; one brother, George Daniel of Evansville; and three stepchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Jeff Bullock will officiate. Entombment will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

UNIONTOWN -- Lurlene Gray, 86, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at her home here.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar H. Gray, who died in 1981.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Gray of Midway, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

Clinford "Shorty" Morris
STANLEY, Ky. -- Clinford "Shorty" Morris, 72, died at 4:21 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at his home here.
Retired from Operating Engineers Local No. 181, he was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Stanley. He also enjoyed bird hunting and being with family.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Louise Hundley Morris; two daughters, Paula McFadden of Owensboro and Sally Moss of Newman, Ky.; five sons, Steve Morris of Henderson, James Morris and Todd Morris, both of Owensboro, Wayne Morris of Livermore, and Donald "Chico" Morris of Hawesville.; two sisters, Ruby Pulliam of Owensboro and Violet Justice of Centralia, Wash.; two brothers, Maxie Morris of Hawesville and Den Morris of Florida; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Stanley. The Rev. Stan Puryear will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home in Owensboro, where prayers will be said at 7 tonight.

Billie Jo Griffith
Billie Jo Griffith, 51, Henderson, died at 9:29 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Watson Lane Baptist Church. She worked at Bear Brand/Audubon Hosiery Mill until it closed and then worked as a baby-sitter.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Jimmie LaVerne Griffith; one son, Robert Ellis Lankford of Effingham, Ill.; her parents, Levi E. and Bernadine Johnson of Albion, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Patty Strong of Olney, Ill.; two stepsons, Dennis Griffith of New Bloomfield, Mo., and Mike Griffith of Caseyville, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Elaine Bunnage of Golden Gate, Ill., and Karen Sue Raber of Effingham; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Pearcy will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
