Edith S. Brawley
Edith S. Brawley, 86, Corydon, died at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Central Methodist Church in Richmond, Ind.
She was preceded in death by one son, William D. Brawley, who died in 1957.
Survivors include one son, Robert E. Brawley of Corydon; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Eric Richard O'Nan
Eric Richard O'Nan, 15, Henderson, died after a long illness at 6:43 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
He was baptized in July of 1986.
Survivors include his parents, Susan Faye O'Nan of Henderson and George David O'Nan of Evansville; his grandparents, Thomas and Nellie Davis and Pat and Norman Ashby, all of Henderson; two brothers, his twin, Johnathan O'Nan, and Kevin O'Nan, both of Henderson; two half-sisters, Heather O'Nan of Evansville, and Megan O'Nan of Henderson; and one half-brother, Nicholas O'Nan of Lamar, Ind.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Warren Delling will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Mary Rainier
Mary Rainier, 96, Henderson, died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Henderson. She was a retired private nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rainier; and one son, Jack Rainier, a Henderson Police Officer who died in the line of duty on Nov. 21, 1955.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Diane Coomes and Leslie Barron, both of Henderson, and Jack Rainier of Owensboro; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tapp Funeral Home. Joseph McCoy officiated. Burial was in Fernwood Cemetery.
Maurice Robertson
Maurice Robertson, 73, Henderson, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at his home.
He had worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include one brother, Ernest Robertson of Henderson; and his caregiver and niece, Mary E. Johnson of Henderson.
Arrangements are pending at Osborne Funeral Home in Evansville.
Charles "Smiley" Miles Jr.
MATTOON, Ill. -- Charles "Smiley" Miles Jr., 80, Mattoon, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Douglas Care and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Henderson, he was a retired millwright from the Carpenter's Union Local No. 347 and previously owned and operated an auto repair service in Mattoon. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Mattoon Eagles Club and VFW Post 4325 in Mattoon.
Survivors include his wife, Donna L. Miles; two daughters, Joyce Lindsay and Jackie Miles, both of Mattoon; two sons, Jerry Wood of Louisville and Donald Wood of Albion, Ill.; one brother, Doris Miles of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Sunday, May 27, at Schilling Funeral Home in Mattoon. The Rev. John P. Besore III officiated. The VFW Post 4325 performed a flag-folding ceremony. Burial is at a later date.

Ruby King
Ruby King, 78, Henderson, died at 5:40 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil "Jack" King; five daughters, Diane Moore of Louisville, and Linda Cook, Debra Hill, Barbara Kirk, and Vicky Taylor, all of Henderson; one sister, Ruth Gossett of Greenville, Ky.; one brother, Owen France of Owensboro; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
Anna B. Lindle
STURGIS -- Anna B. Lindle, 90, Sturgis, died at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Morganfield.
Survivors include two brothers, Elmo "Poss" Lindle of Sturgis, and Edward Roy Lindle of Orlando; a niece and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis. The Rev. John Conn will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Virginia Haynes Hicks
OWENSBORO -- Mary Virginia Haynes Hicks, 92, Owensboro, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at her home.
She was a housewife and the oldest member of Whitesville Baptist Church in Whitesville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Hicks, who died in 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa "Pat" Allen of Owensboro, and Marianna "Polly" Buckles of Henderson; three sons, Archie Hicks and Otis P. Hicks, both of Owensboro, and Calvin "Cal" Hicks of Jacksonville, Ala.; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Private family burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
