Edna Ball Hearon
PROVIDENCE -- Edna Ball Hearon, 84, Providence, died at 10:55 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2001, at her home.
A retired librarian from Providence School, she was a member of the Eastern Star, a Kentucky Colonel and member of Providence General Baptist Church. She was a well-known comic and had compiled an assortment of recipes.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Sue Newsome of Providence and Peggy Duncan of Henderson; one brother, D.L. Ball of Madisonville; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence. The Revs. Barry Cullen and Charlie Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Sarah Oglesby
Sarah Oglesby, 74, Henderson, died at 9:02 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. She also served for many years as pianist with Redbanks nursing center Sunday School Class. She had worked at Kusan Plastics and retired from Whirlpool Corporation. She was a member of I.U.E. Local No. 808 in Evansville.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Walter Donald Oglesby; her mother, Lottie Griffin of Henderson; one brother, Connie Griffin Jr., of Henderson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Orbley Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mary Elizabeth Donahoo, 64, Henderson, died at 8:50 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2001 at her home.
She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle in Henderson.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, James H. Donahoo; two daughters, Dorothy Ann Russelburg of Mount Vernon, Ind., and Carol Jean McDaire of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bobby Gaines of Oklahoma, and James Lee Gaines of Washington; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Meredith will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Maurice W. "Mouse" Majors, 76, Henderson, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
Survivors include three sisters, Margaret Sutton and Alma Bourland, both of Henderson, and Lilly Nichols of Carson, Calif.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Lloyd Littrell will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole.

Georgia E. Wells
PRIDE -- Georgia E. Wells, 84, Pride, died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a member of the Bordley Church of Christ in Bordley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lee Wells, who died June 8, 1981.
Survivors include one daughter, Bernice Ames of Mobile, Ala.; one son, Glen Wells of Morganfield; one sister, Joyce Both of Henderson; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Bro. Sam Belo will officiate. Burial will be in Pride-Bordley Cemetery in Pride.

Archie R. Gibson
WALLS, Miss. -- Archie R. Gibson, 72, Walls, formerly of Henderson, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001, at the Desoto Baptist Hospital in South Haven, Miss.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Gibson, who died in 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy Gibson; one daughter, Lydia Ketchum of Walls; two sons, Steve Gibson of North Carolina, and Randy Gibson of Erin, Tenn.; three sisters, Grace Lilly of South Haven, Miss., Geraline Roberts of Henderson, and Darlene Thompson of Chandler, Ind.; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill South Funeral Home in Memphis. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Marian Karges Klauder
Marian Karges Klauder, 91, Henderson, died at midnight Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was a member of St. Ann's Guild and a former member of Altar Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Herman Klauder Sr., who died Oct. 12, 1972.
Survivors include one son, George H. Klauder Jr., of Geneva; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and one nephew.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Kenneth Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
