Joseph Osburne Corbett
Joseph Osburne Corbett, 76, Henderson, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Medco Center.
He was a member of Presbyterian Church of Henderson.
Survivors include six daughters, Marilyn King, Josette Corbett and Rachel Davis, all of Henderson, Gail Holman and JoLene Corbett of Sabastain, Fla., and Daisy Kwasigrogh of Palm Bay, Fla.; two sons, Joseph A. Corbett of Henderson and James Corbett of Sabastain, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be conducted at a later date. The Rev. Douglas Blair will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Presbyterian Church of Henderson.

H. Steven Blevins
H. Steven Blevins, 49, Henderson, died Thursday at his home.
He was an Indiana University fan, and enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, gardening and spending time with family. He also was a Shriner.
He worked in gas measurement distribution for the city of Henderson.
Survivors include his companion, Katie Butts of Henderson; his father, Harry Blevins of Bedford, Ind.; one son, Scott Blevins of Henderson; two brothers, Harry Steven Blevins of Henderson, and Mark L. Blevins of Franklin, Ind.; one sister, Valerie Hanks of Orleans, Ind.; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro. The Rev. Dirus Dustin will officiate. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to any Shriner's hospital.
E.D. Braden Sr.
E.D. Braden Sr., 80, Cairo, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school. He was also a member of Breckinridge County Masonic Lodge and was retired from the ASC office as a soil conservation technician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Louise Braden, who died Nov. 27, 1995.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Bailey of Cairo; three sons, Donnie Braden of Sebree, Larry Braden of Bardstown, Ky., and Mike Braden of Houston; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cairo United Methodist Church. The Revs. Garnett Slone and Garry Polston will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Rae L. Williams
POOLE -- Rae L. Williams, 80, Poole, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He was a member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, Poole Masonic Lodge and Poole Lions Club. He formerly worked at Spencer Chemical and retired from NSA Southwire Division in Hawesville, Ky.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Hallie Williams; two daughters, Brenda Major and Alice Siemers, both of Henderson; one son, Billy Ray Williams of Henderson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Revs. Ron Hampton and Jeff Burke will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Saturday at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. tonight.

Danny Lewis
PRINCETON, Ky. -- Danny Lewis, 51, Princeton, formerly of Henderson, died at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Caldwell County Hospital here.
He was a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Shuman Lewis; four daughters, Edna Marie Wilson, April Wilson and Melissa Prowell, all of Princeton, and Betty Faye Kilgore of Madisonville; three stepdaughters, Melissa Sullivan and Holly Turpin, both of Princeton, and Mary Lou Barfield of Dudley, N.C.; one sister, Charlotte Weaver of Caldwell County; six brothers, Terry Lewis, Roger Lewis, Linford Lewis and Chuckie Lewis, all of Princeton, and Tommy Lewis and Stevie Lewis, both of Grand Rivers, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Denzil Sizemore will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Katherine Hurt
ELKTON, Ky. -- Katherine Hurt, 84, Elkton, died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Hearthstone Place here.
She was a member of Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church in Elkton, where she was a member of the Wesley Bible class. She enjoyed playing high nine and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dellis Key Hurt, who died in 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Rager of Hopkinsville and Marlene Herrell of Elkton; one son, Arlo Hurt of Elkton; one sister, Elnora Hurt of Elkton; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton. The Rev. John Reilly will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Todd County.
Opal Mae Warner
MADISONVILLE -- Opal Mae Warner, 65, Madisonville, died of cancer Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Regional Medical Center.
She worked on the assembly line at York and was a member of Carters Chapel General Baptist Church, where she was active in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Warner, who died June 2, 1996.
Survivors include five daughters, Patty Nance of Robards, Barbara Blankenship of St. Charles, Ky., Linda Oglesby and Fredia Utley, both of Madisonville, and Susie Humphrey of Owensboro; one son, Steve Warner of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; one sister, Wanda Sue Williams of Madisonville; one brother, Leroy Williams of White Plains, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville. The Revs. Terry Yancy and Joseph Groves will officiate. Burial will be in Vernal Grove Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.
