Gerald W. "Jerry" Krutz
LAKE WALES, Fla. -- Gerald W. "Jerry" Krutz, 69, Lake Wales, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was a retired supervisor of the gear lab for Massey Ferguson Co. in Detroit. Following retirement he worked at Publix in Winter Haven, Fla. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 40. He also enjoyed golf and outdoor activities.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Ann Krutz; three daughters, Theresa G. Raymond of Algonac, Mich., Deborah D. Garty of Lake Wales, and Dana A. Tucker of Mount Clemens, Mich.; one son, Benjamin K. Krutz of Henderson; one sister, Diana A. Krutz of Gross Point Woods, Mich.; one brother, Frank Krutz of Dearborn, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of arrangements.

BEAUFORT, S.C. -- Ida B. Dickerson, 102, Beaufort, formerly of Slaughters, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, in South Carolina.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Slaughters Cemetery. The Rev. Joey Murphy will officiate.

Peggy Ann Liggett
BLUFF CITY -- Peggy Ann Liggett, 62, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May, 8, 2001, at her home.
She was a member of Dupey Baptist Church in Bluff City. She was a 20-year employee of Art Fair in Henderson and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Liggett, who died May 5, 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Carla Crook of Henderson; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Cooper of Dixon, Roz Liggett of Indiana, and Gina Robinson of Iowa; two sons, Mark Byrd of Corydon and Ray Byrd of Napanee, Ind.; two stepsons, Scott Liggett of Michigan and Jerry Liggett of Tilden, Ky.; one brother, Jerry Goldsberry of Eddyville; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson.
Dorothy Elizabeth Wolfe
WAVERLY -- Dorothy Elizabeth Wolfe, 65, Waverly, died of pulmonary fibrosis at 8:05 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waverly.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Thomas Edward Wolfe; three daughters, Sharon Buckman and Brenda Hagan, both of Waverly, and Patricia Salyers of Morganfield; four sons, Danny Ray Wolfe and Greg Wolfe, both of Waverly, Clifford Wolfe of Morganfield, and Andy Wolfe of Sturgis; three sisters, Bettye Sue Barr, Faye Montgomery, and Rosie Parrish, all of Henderson; two brothers, Charles "Sonny" Coney of Elberfeld, Ind., and Bobby Coney of Waverly; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Bob Willett will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Thursday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, where prayers will be said at 7 tonight.

Stella C. Jennings
PROVIDENCE -- Stella C. Jennings, 77, Providence, died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a retired nurse's aide and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Clay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll Jennings, who died Aug. 7, 1967.
Survivors include two sons, James Collins Jennings and Kimble W. Jennings, both of Providence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence. The Rev. Larry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.

Gloria Cecilia Robinson
BUFFALO, Minn. -- Gloria Cecilia Robinson, 74, died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at her home here.
She was a member of St. Francis Church in Buffalo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Robinson, who died in 1978; and one daughter, Rita Jean Robinson, who died in 1953.
Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Marie Flanagan of Isanti, Minn., Mary Anne Henkel of Lindstrom, Minn., and Carol Jean Etzel of Big Lake, Minn.; four sons, Gary Lawrence Robinson of New York Mills, Minn., Daniel Alen Robinson of Red Wing, Minn., Paul Neal Robinson of Osaka, Japan, and Peter Nace Robinson of Delano, Minn.; one stepdaughter, Gloria Faye Wentzel of Danville, Calif.; one stepson, Tommy Lee Robinson of Stanwood, Wash.; one sister, Mae Bussiere of Newport, Minn.; two brothers, Richard Swanson of Edison, Ga., and Raymond Swanson of Watertown, Minn.; 18 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Cemetery in Uniontown. The Rev. Bob Willett will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

Edward "Ed" Barton
Edward "Ed" Barton, 80, Henderson, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, at his home here.
He was retired from Gamco in 1987 after more than 30 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Barton, who died in 1999.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Melba Barton; three daughters, Ava Marie Bartley of Newburgh, Ind., and Kathleen "Sissie" Berger and Sherry Barton, both of Michigan; three sons, Jeffery Scott Barton of Henderson, Steven Allen Barton of Robards, and Ronald Barton of Wyandotte, Mich.; three sisters, Lucy Zunaczyk and Sarah Salatowaskie, both of California, and Nancy Feiler of South Gate, Mich.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Willard Clement will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Jalynne Paige O'Nan
STURGIS -- Jalynne Paige O'Nan, infant daughter of Tiffany Cook and Clint O'Nan, Sturgis, died at 10:23 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson of complications from premature birth.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her grandparents, Steve and Dottie Utley of Sturgis, Lane Nelson of Clay, and Paul O'Nan of Henderson; and her great-grandparents, Norm and Pat Ashby of Henderson, Martha Russelburg of Sturgis, and Velvee Gibson of Clay.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Cemetery in Morganfield. The Rev. Patrick Bittel will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
