Hunter Taylor Asher
SEBREE -- Hunter Taylor Asher, 3-month-old son of Douglas Asher and Carrie Taylor of Sebree, died Sunday, May 6, 2001.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his grandparents, Bernie Duggins of Onton, Greg Taylor of Evansville, and Robin Howard of Grand Rivers; great-grandparents, James Taylor and Barbara Taylor of Evansville, and Ann Smith of Grand Rivers, and a great-great grandmother, Beatrice Taylor of Warren, Mich.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Onton Cemetery. The Rev. David Bumpus will officiate.
Friends may call from noon to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Tompkins Funeral Homes Sebree-Poole Chapel in Sebree.
Robert C. O'Bannon
MORGANFIELD -- Robert C. O'Bannon, 80, Morganfield, died of cancer at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2001, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a retired coal miner at Island Creek Coal Co. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and the American Bowling Congress.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie O'Bannon, who died in 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Candy Banks of Morganfield; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Jim Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Gerard Moore Foote
IRVINGTON -- Gerard Moore Foote, 88, Irvington, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Medco Center in Brandenburg.
He was employed by North American Fertilizer Company in Louisville. He also later managed the Gulf Fertilizer Plant in Irvington. He was a farmer and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Scott Foote, who died in 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Alexander of Henderson, and Laura Law of Casper, Wyo.; three sons, Edwin Foote of Louisville, Phillip Foote of Crestwood, Ky., and James Stuart "Jim" Foote of Irvington; three sisters, Mildred Squires and Lois Ferrell, both of Louisville, and Frances Henderson of Irvington; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon EDT Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Homes Chapel in Irvington. The Rev. Janet Carden will officiate. Burial will be in Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg.

Jean A. Luck
Jean A. Luck, 75, Henderson, died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2001, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital North in St. Louis.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris E. Luck, who died Jan. 21, 1997.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Allen of Rochester, N.Y., and Barbara Watson of Henderson; one son, Dorin Luck of Henderson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Becki Curry will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Fowler Owens
Fowler Owens, 90, Henderson, died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2001, at Holiday Retirement Center in Evansville.
He was retired as the treasurer of the National Stamp Co. of Henderson in 1978 and was an avid golfer who had won several golf tournaments. He was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Madeline Owens, who died in 1996.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Kirk Horstmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Don Franklin Carlisle
CLAY -- Don Franklin Carlisle, 53, died of cancer at 10:20 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2001, at his home.
He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Clay, where he was also a Sunday School teacher. He was an alumnus of Alpha Gamma Rho and was a 1966 graduate of Webster County High School. He held degrees from Western Kentucky University and Murray State University. He was also a farmer and was agriculture teacher and FFA advisor for 15 years at Webster County High School, where he also coached golf and basketball. He was chairman of the Webster County Soil Conservation District for 18 years and was also President of Kentucky Association of Agricultural Educators.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Marilyn Carlisle; one daughter, Amanda Carlisle Woodall of Lexington; one son, Patrick Franklin Carlisle of Clay; his mother, E. Daphine Carlisle of Clay; one sister, Marilyn Mitchell of Clay; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Clay. The Rev. Jeff McMain will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, and after 1 p.m. Monday at the church.

Billy F. King
MORGANFIELD -- Billy F. King, 60, Morganfield, died of an heart attack at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Union County.
He was a retired coal miner.
Survivors include his wife, Sue King; one daughter, Stephanie Rutter of Sturgis; one son, Michael King of Boonville; four sisters, Faye Grizzle, Ila Barr and Reba Mize, all of Pacola, Okla., and Velma Flynn of Collinsville, Okla.; three brothers, Howard King of Stigler, Okla., Pete King of Pacola, and Leslie King of Alabama; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Charles Flynn will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
