Joy Chester
Joy Chester, 41, Henderson, died at 8:43 p.m. Friday at Methodist Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a graduate of the Henderson City school system.
Survivors include one daughter, Leah Chester of Henderson; two sons, Damon Chester and Trent Chester, both of Henderson; her parents, Cornelius and Joyce Green Chester of Henderson; four sisters, Debra Chester, Darlene Chester, and Kathy Chester, all of Henderson, and Jill Adams of Scott Air Force Base in Illinois; and one brother, Cornelius Wayne Chester of Henderson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mason Bros. Audubon Chapel in Henderson. The remains will be cremated.
Milton Hayden Jr.
Milton Hayden Jr., 65, Henderson, died of cancer Saturday, April 21, 2001, at his home here.
He excelled in boxing and basketball at Douglass High School. He was retired from the Vanderburgh County Highway Department and was its first black superintendent. He was the founder of the Youth Boxing Club at Impact Ministries. He was a member of Sterling Mens Club and the Democratic Party. He also coached softball teams. He was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Addie Hay Hayden; one daughter, Cynthia Angevine Johnson of Evansville; six sons, Thomas Hayden, Terrence Hayden, and Milton Hayden, all of Evansville, Mark Hayden and Samuel Hayden, both of Henderson and James Randolph of Seattle; four stepdaughters, Patricia Smith, Tracey Carter, and Cindy Haygan, all of Henderson, and Alisa Suggs of Evansville; two stepsons, Wayne Gregory and James Morgan, both of Henderson; four sisters, Barbara Davis, Linda Hayden, and Charlesetta Hildreth, all of Evansville, and Shirley Leveridge of Pembrook, Ky.; one brother, Richard "Chuckie" Hayden of Henderson; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastview Baptist Church in Evansville. The Rev. T.A. Straight will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Bros. Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Charles O. Quinn
STURGIS -- Charles O. Quinn, 92, Sturgis, died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Union County.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sturgis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Quinn, who died in 1993; and two sons, Robert Quinn, who died in 1970, and Charles E. Quinn, who died in 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Dilback of Sturgis; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Don Phelps will officiate. Burial will be in Grangertown Cemetery in Sturgis.

William D. Price II
MORGANFIELD -- William D. Price II, 33, Morganfield, died from an auto accident Saturday, April 21, 2001, in Bradenton, Fla.
Survivors include his mother, Diana Martin of Morganfield; four sisters, Donna Hayes and Jennifer Wogatske, both of Dunlap, Tenn., Mary Ann Duhaime of Bradenton, and Nicole Price of Morganfield; three brothers, Brian Price and Shawn Martin, both of Morganfield, and George P. Martin of Nashville; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at New Life Worship Center in Morganfield. The Rev. Randy Wisdom will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.

Everette M. McGuyer
CLAY -- Everette M. McGuyer, 73, Clay, died of heart failure Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Wellington Park Nursing Facility in Owensboro.
He was a Metropolitan Life Insurance Agent for 24 years. He was a member and elder at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence for more than 30 years. He also served four years in the Clay City Council. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty McGuyer; one daughter, Robin Overby of Fredericksburg, Va.; one son, Michael McGuyer of Owensboro; one sister, Marilyn Russell of Providence; one brother, Thomas Earl McGuyer of Brunswick, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. The Rev. James Messer will officiate. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.

Clay Winstead Finch
MADISONVILLE -- Clay Winstead Finch, 85, Madisonville, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2001, at the Senior Citizens Nursing Home here.
He was retired after 30 years with Island Creek Coal Company. He was a World War II Army veteran. He had attended Wesleyan Chapel Church in Madisonville and was a member of the American Legion Post in Madisonville.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Goodman Finch; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tompkins Funeral Homes Sebree-Poole Chapel in Sebree. The Rev. Bob Hardison will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Delores "Ghee" Allen Stanton Haynes
OWENSBORO -- Delores "Ghee" Allen Stanton Haynes, 81, Owensboro, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
She was retired as owner and operator of Delores' Beauty Shop. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the James L. Yates Post No. 9 American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary NHCA.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Stanton, who died in October 1976, and her second husband, Earl Haynes, who died in June 1995; and one daughter, Kathy Stanton Shelton, who died Oct. 8, 2000.
Survivors include one son, Dwight D. Stanton of Clarksville, Tenn.; two stepsons, Robert Haynes of Owensboro and Thomas Haynes of Brooksville, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Pat Henzler of Toledo, Ohio, Earlene Click of Santa Fe, and Sherry Payne of Hardinsburg, Ky.; one stepbrother, J.B. Hallmark of Hebbardsville; one stepsister, Betty Keach of Hebbardsville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and 20 step great-grandchildren.

PROVIDENCE -- W.L. "Bill" Niswonger, 76, Providence, died at 4:15 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He was a mechanic retired from Cimarron Coal Corp. He was a member of Nebo Methodist Church and Coachman Campers and Webster County REACT.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Alfred Niswonger; one daughter, Sue Woodward of Henderson; one son, Jerry Niswonger of Madisonville; five stepdaughters, Wanda Calvert of Slaughters, Linda Darnell of Providence, Donna Wilson of Mortons Gap, Ky., Kathy Huddleston of St. Charles, Ky., and Brenda Long of Madisonville; one stepson, Larry Jennings of Madisonville; one sister, Lanna Arnold of Madisonville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
