Raymond C. "Pate" Berry
Raymond C. "Pate" Berry, 88, Henderson, died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a deacon of Audubon Baptist Church and a member of Jerusalem Lodge No. 9 F&AM and the Henderson Chapter No. 186 of the Order of Eastern Star. He was also retired from Halliburton Oil Co. and worked for Palmer Oil Co.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Virginia Berry; one daughter, Rayma Parker of Poole; one son, Robert A. Berry of Henderson; three sisters, Lorene Berry, Lois Gibson, and Ann Redding, all of Henderson; three grandsons; one great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
The Rev. Alan Todd will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Maggie Wright
SULLIVAN, Ky. -- Maggie Wright, 73, Sullivan, died of congestive heart failure at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wright, who died in 1978.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Wright of Sullivan; one sister, Agnes Benson of Sturgis; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Dwight Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.

Charles E. Keen
LOUISVILLE -- Charles E. Keen, 84, Louisville, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Jewish Hospital here.
He was the retired CEO for Agri Dealers Supply. He was also a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, past president of the Louisville Agriculture Club and the Kentucky Feed and Grain Club, and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy L. Dorsey of Benton, Ky.; two sons, Thomas A. Keen and C. Kenneth Keen, both of Louisville; two sisters, Bea Smith and Ruth Schlang, both of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Louisville.
The Rev. Chuck Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Enick Michael Zychowski
WARREN, Mich. -- Enick Michael Zychowski, 82, Warren, formerly of Morganfield, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at St. John Hospital in Detroit.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he served as a sergeant in charge of an officer's club at Camp Breckinridge in Morganfield. During that time, he allowed prisoners of war at the camp to paint scenes of their homeland on the walls of the club. Those murals are now featured in the restored Camp Breckinridge Museum and Arts Center. He was also a retired program analyst for the U.S. government and a member of American Legion Post No. 56.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Zychowski, a former Henderson resident.
Survivors include one son, Michael Zychowski of Clinton Township, Mich.; three daughters, Mary Frangis of Elizabeth, Colo., Susan Maxwell of Clinton Township, and Jane Benenati of Warren; one brother, Henry B. Zychowski of Castian, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Malachy Church in Warren. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Warren.

Richard Britton Sigler
Richard Britton Sigler, 64, Henderson, formerly of Oakland City, Ind., died of cancer at 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2001, at his home.
He was retired from Alcoa Warrick Operations and Whirlpool Corp. He was a 32nd-degree Mason, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of American Legion, and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise Sigler Phelps of Glasgow, Ky., and Dana Sigler Fulcher of Henderson; three brothers, David Sigler of Evansville, Danny Sigler of Chicopee, Mass., and Earl Woodford "Woody" Sigler of Henderson; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Tony Gish will officiate. Private family burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.
Friends may call until service time today at the funeral home.

CADIZ -- Ollie G. Stanley, 81, died at 5 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2001, at her home here.
She was a housewife and a retired factory worker. She was a member of Nebo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Albert Grimm and Jewell Qualls.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Stanley; one daughter, Betty Ann Young of Cadiz; one son, Jerry W. Stanley of Henderson; one stepdaughter, Judy Cunningham of Hammond, Ind.; two stepsons, Danny Stanley of Omaha, Neb., and Darrel Qualls of Madisonville; three sisters, Elizabeth Hajack of Palmetto, Fla., Leona Ayers of Nebo, and Kathy Faye Haynie of Madisonville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville. The Rev. Darrell Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Johnson Island Cemetery in Johnson Island, Ky.

Aldred W. "Pappy" Crafton
Aldred W. "Pappy" Crafton, 59, Zion, died of cancer at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 2001, at his home.
He was a member of Eastview Baptist Church, Poole Lodge No. 604 F&AM, and Rizpah Shrine Temple in Madisonville. He was a volunteer fireman on the Zion Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years and had received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Henderson County Volunteer Firefighters Association. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Brenda DeMoss Crafton; one daughter, Beth Crafton of Henderson; one foster son, Steve Higginson of Marion, Ohio; and three sisters, Mary Edna Junker of Henderson, Alice Ann Murphree of Hopkinsville, and Jimmie L. Kuchenbrod of Centerville, Ohio.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Revs. Nathan Whisnant and Paul Bunger will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
