Elmo Nicholas Thompson Sr.
OWENSBORO -- Elmo Nicholas Thompson Sr., 84, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at his home here.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro, he retired from the Daviess County Road Department where he was a foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Velada Thompson; five daughters, Mary Lou Henry, Patricia Kirk and Judy Hagan, all of Owensboro, Betty Bartley of Sorgho, Ky., and Connie Clark of Philpot, Ky.; four sons, Elmo Nicholas Thompson Jr., Steven Joseph Thompson and Ronnie Anthony Thompson, all of Owensboro, and James Earl Thompson of Douglasville, Ga.; two sisters, Elizabeth Thomas of Henderson and Helen Lanham of Louisville; two brothers, Dennis Thompson and Tommy Thompson, both of Owensboro; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro. The Rev. John Meredith will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Daviess County.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home in Owensboro, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. today.
Phyllis Vickie Ballman
Phyllis Vickie Ballman, 73, Henderson, died at 1:03 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and was a retired beautician.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph B. Ballman, who died Feb. 25, 1998.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Starre) Brock of Bowling Green; one sister, Aileen "Mickey" Niggemeyer of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Edward Bradley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Randall Wayne Fox III
Randall Wayne Fox III, the infant son of Randall Wayne Fox Jr. and Amanda Winstead, Henderson, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
In addition to his parents, survivors include grandparents, Richard and Georgia Winstead, and Randall and Teri Fox, all of Henderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Willard Clement will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Reva Maxine Sexton Richardson
Reva Maxine Sexton Richardson, 87, Henderson, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died after an extended illness Monday, March 19, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home.
She was the former owner of the Ro-Na Restaurant and Theater in Ironton, and a retired teacher for the Ironton City School System. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ironton and the Ironton Co-Op Club. She was a 1931 graduate of Ashland High School and later graduated from the University of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Richardson, who died April 16, 1975; and one daughter, Dianne Gibson.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Burleson of Henderson; two sisters, Dorothy Dawson of Lake Forest, Calif., and Juanita Best of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, Ky. The Rev. Glen Herman will officiate.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton.

MORGANFIELD -- Lois Polley, 67, Morganfield, died of multiple organ failure Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Provena United Samaritan Hospital in Danville, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Polley of Aurora, Colo., and Kenny Polley of Henderson; and two brothers, Jack Baker of Morganfield, and Larry Baker of Covington, Ind.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Brother Daniel Askew will officiate. Burial will be in Rockstile Cemetery in Webster County.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Thelma L. "Pat" Wood
Thelma L. "Pat" Wood, 75, Henderson, died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala.
She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from the Henderson County school system.
Survivors include her husband, Billy H. Wood; one daughter, Phyllis Clark of Louisville; one son, Gregory A. Wood of Houston; three sisters, Eudena Sauer of Henderson, Emma Lou Butler of Evansville, and Judy Latta of Huntsville; one brother, J.T. "Doc" Green of Henderson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are pending at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
Burnice Dailey Jr.
MORGANFIELD -- Burnice Dailey Jr, 67, Morganfield, formerly of Frankfort, died of cancer Saturday, March 17, 2001, at a continuing care facility in Henderson.
He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. He was a Korean War veteran and belonged to several community organizations. He was also an elder at his church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dailey, who died 15 years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Dailey and Sherrie Dailey; his mother, Lorene Dailey; one sister, Shirley Baird; and two brothers, Wayne Dailey and Edward Dailey.
Private graveside services will be held.
There will be no visitation.
