MOUNT STERLING, Ky. -- Elizabeth R. Perry, 92, Mount Sterling, died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home in Henderson.
She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Sterling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Perry.
Survivors include one son, Tom Perry of Henderson; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals in Mount Sterling. The Revs. Fred Wiles and Sam Knox will officiate. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Mount Sterling.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. EST Monday and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson.
Victoria Harkins
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Victoria Harkins, 90, formerly of Providence, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at a nursing home here.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Providence and a retired school teacher of 35 years in Providence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Harkins, who died in 1961.
Survivors include one son, Ralph Harkins of Indianapolis; one sister, Elizabeth Hartsfield of Memphis; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Big Hill Cemetery in Providence. The Rev. Anna Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Big Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Gillie D. Gibson
MORGANFIELD -- Gillie D. Gibson, 58, died of an apparent heart attack at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2001, at her home here.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gibson, who died in December 1998.
Survivors include one step daughter, Pam Collins of Smith Mills; her mother, Fannie McAllister of Morganfield; three sisters, Kathy Stevens of Morganfield, Linda Harper of Pekin, Ill., and Patricia Harper of Trussville, Ala.; one brother, Charlie McAllister of Morganfield; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield. The Rev. Patrick Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.

MORGANFIELD -- Mary Victoria French, 90, Morganfield, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Medco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center here.
Survivors include one sister, Edwina Bracken of San Bernadino, Calif.; her caregivers, Marilyn and Tommy Jenkins of Morganfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Union County. The Rev. Bob Willett will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Union County.
There will be no visitation.

Shirley Collins
MARION, Ky. -- Shirley Collins, 65, Marion, died from complications of pneumonia at 4:09 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2001, at Crittenden Health System here.
She was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Marion and retired from Crittenden Health System in 1990.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Andrew Collins; two daughters, Becky Nalley and Barbara Brantley, both of Sturgis; four sons, James M. Collins of Henderson, and Bob Collins, Bill Collins and Ben Collins, all of Sturgis; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Dan Kreutzer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery in Sturgis.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. tonight.
Hope Denton
Hope Denton, daughter of Michael and Cindi Denton of Robards, was stillborn at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
In addition to her parents, survivors include one sister, Olivia Denton of Robards; two brothers, Lucas Denton and Andrew Denton, both of Robards; grandparents, Jeff and Paula Hunt of Henderson and Walter and Mary Lou Denton of Sebree; great-grandparents, Jo Nell Wilson of Poole and Carles Rosemary Griffin of Dixon; and a great-great-grandmother, Nellie Griffin of Evansville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole. The Rev. Scott Hopkins will officiate.

NEOSHA, Mo. -- Ben H. Allen, 75, Neosho, formerly of Sturgis, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at Freman Hospital in Neosho.
He was a World War II veteran and member of the VFW.
Survivors include a brother, Claude Allen of Meadow Vista, Calif.; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis. Bro. Don Collins will officiate. There will be no visitation.

William Ray Henderson
William Ray Henderson, 73, Henderson, died at 8 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
He was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Henderson; one daughter, Donna Gayle Alexander of Henderson; one sister, Mary Kathleen Mitchell of Henderson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
