MARION, Ky. -- Diane Belt Blaine, 46, formerly of Union County, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at her residence here.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sue and Hazel Powers of Morganfield; one daughter, Dusty Witherspoon of Marion; two sons, Joe Williams and Jon Williams, both of Marion; two sisters, Susan Mills of Morganfield and Sandi Embry of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, Joey Belt of Marion; three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Dwight Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Providence.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 tonight and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Golda Virginia Porter Clark
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Golda Virginia Porter Clark, 81, formerly of Henderson, died at noon Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, in Wilmington, N.C.
She was a member of St. Timothy's Anglican Catholic Church. She retired as a secretary from the office of J. Leland Tanner, M.D. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and served as the state secretary for nine years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard Clark.
Survivors include one daughter, Frances C. Mills of Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home's downtown chapel, 150 Wentworth St., Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Norman P. Trimmier will officiate. A private burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.
Friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
There will be no local visitation or service.

Michael Barron
Michael Barron, 43, Henderson, died of cancer at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at his home.
He did silk screening at Al-Hocker Inc. in Evansville.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Anthony Barron Jr., who died in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Barron; two sons, Michael Barron and Dewayne Barron, both of Henderson; one sister, Joyce Culver of Henderson; three brothers, Jimmy Barron, Joe Bullock and Michael Roberson, all of Henderson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. The Rev. Thorton Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Harvey C. Robinson
MORGANFIELD -- Harvey C. Robinson, 87, died at 5:26 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at his home here.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Morganfield and a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Robinson, who died in 1985.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Banks of Morganfield; three sons, Thomas D. Robinson, Roy C. Robinson and Richard L. Robinson, all of Morganfield; one sister, Rebecca "Becky" Winegar of Evansville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.

Wanda L. Nichols
EDDYVILLE -- Wanda L. Nichols, 76, Eddyville, died at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda K. Boyd and Nancy Slaton, both of Eddyville, and Debra Ann Towery of Henderson; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Big Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Noble Cobb will officiate.

Alma Lynn
PROVIDENCE -- Alma Lynn, 89, Providence, died at 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.
Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Lynn of Providence and Jerry R. Prow of Ohio; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at White Oak Cemetery in Webster County.
There will be no visitation.
Melton Funeral Home in Providence is in charge of arrangements.
James Roland Gill
PROVIDENCE -- James Roland Gill, 77, Providence, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.
He was a World War II veteran who enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943, serving with the 9th Armored Division during the Battle of the Bulge. At the end of the war, he re-enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the cruiser Albany and the battleship USS Missouri as the fleet admiral's driver and aide.
Survivors include his caretaker, Hazel Gill of Diamond, Ky.; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
