DETROIT -- Harold E. Raschke, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at his home here.
He was preceded in death by one stepson, Robert Montez.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Raschke; two daughters, Joanne Fairbanks and Margarette Raschke; one son, Harold Raschke; three stepdaughters, Marlene Montez, Lydia Gorecki, and Helen Castano; four stepsons, Simon Montez, Robert Snellen, Tony Snellen, and Nathan Snellen; two sisters; four brothers; two grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; and 23 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at R.C. Aleks & Son Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, Mich. Sandra Paran will officiate. Entombment will be in Woodmere Cemetery.
John Kenneth Wyber
John Kenneth Wyber, 22, Henderson, died in an automobile accident at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001.
He was an employee of Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Walker of Evansville; his father, Thomas Wyber of Henderson; his stepfather, Barry Walker of Henderson; his grandfather, Joseph K. Hemmingway; his great-grandfather, James Hemmingway; two sisters, Jessica Durbin and Shannon Mackey, both of Henderson; two brothers, Lee Harper of Robards and Brent Walker of Henderson; and one nephew.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
Volney Ray Jacobs
Volney Ray Jacobs, 89, Henderson, died at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
He was a deacon of First Christian Church in Henderson and a member of Jerusalem Lodge No. 9 F&AM in Henderson. He was retired from Bear Brand Hosiery.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mae Jacobs; one son, Terry Jacobs of Henderson; one sister, Doris Cohron of Henderson; and one grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Lon Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where Jerusalem Lodge No. 9 F&AM will conduct masonic services at 7 p.m. today.

Mary Avalon Meuth Divine
Mary Avalon Meuth Divine, 81, Corydon, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home.
She was a member of Corydon Missionary Baptist Church, the Henderson County Retired School Teachers Association and was a school teacher in the Henderson County school system for 31 years. She was a graduate of Bethel College in Hopkinsville and Murray State College with a bachelor of science degree.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Thurman Divine.
Survivors include cousins.

Lottie Herron Townsend
DIXON -- Lottie Herron Townsend, 88, Dixon, died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was retired from the housekeeping department at Community Methodist Hospital and attended Dixon United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Townsend.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Porter of Dixon; one son, Bobby Hugh Bumpus of Elizabethtown; two stepsons, James Morris Townsend of Dixon and Dorris Townsend of Canada; one sister, Marion Metz of Clay; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Bros. Selby Coomer and Scott Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.

Linda "Sue" Burton Sanderson Merrick
Linda "Sue" Burton Sanderson Merrick, 72, Henderson, died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and worked for 14 years at The Dairy Burger in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Sanderson, and her second husband, Ralph Merrick; and two sons, Rick Sanderson, who died in 1987, and Gene Sanderson, who died in 1997.
Suvivors include two daughters, Brenda Hardrick of Henderson, and Peggy Earll of Corydon; one sister, Stella Lorene Foley of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Revs. Tommy Hancock and Tony Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

PROVIDENCE -- Ida Laura Sigler, 88, Providence, died at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a former Sunday school teacher at Victory Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors include two daughters, Romona Perkins and Nelda Ann Rivet, both of Providence; two sons, Earl W. Sigler of Marion, Ill., and Charles R. Sigler of Providence; one sister, Zula Roberts of Henderson; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Melton Funeral Home. The Rev. Thurmon Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Shawna Leigh Williams
MADISONVILLE -- Shawna Leigh Williams, infant daughter of Kathy Leann Evans of Madisonville, and Shawn Douglas Williams of Madisonville, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at her home here.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her grandmothers, June Coker of Sturgis, and Alta Gooch of Providence; her step grandfather, Jim Gooch of Providence; her great-grandparents, Milburn and Pearl Clark of Sturgis, and Robert and Mary Burnett of Providence; one sister, Cayce Williams of Madisonville; and one half-sister, Samantha Evans of Nortonville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bells Mines Cemetery in Crittenden County. Brother Robert Phillips will officiate. There will be no visitation.
