Ronald Gene "Ronnie" Goodley, 55, Henderson, died at 12:32 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home here.
He attended Victory Christian Church in Henderson.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Nicole Goodley of Long Beach, Calif.; one son, Anthony "Tony" Goodley of Wisconsin; one sister, Mary Ruth Goodley of New York; one brother, Dennis Goodley of Henderson; and one grandchild.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
William Paul Wolfe
WAVERLY -- William Paul Wolfe, 81, Waverly, died at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wolfe; three daughters, Carolyn Mathiew of Salem, Marie Downs of Morganfield, and Martha Gibson of Waverly; four sons, Michael Wolfe of Indianapolis, and David Wolfe, Earl Wolfe, and Ralph Wolfe, all of Waverly; four sisters, Virginia Powell, Joan Mattox, and Rose French, all of Waverly, and Florence Alvey of Morganfield; seven brothers, Adrian Wolfe, Eugene Wolfe, Charlie Wolfe, and Justin Wolfe, all of Morganfield, and James Wolfe, Anthony Wolfe, and Edward Wolfe, all of Waverly; 27 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

WAVERLY -- Benji Jenkins, 20, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at his home here.
Survivors include one son, Brennon Joseph Jenkins of Morganfield; his parents, Bill and Sherri Jenkins of Waverly; and his grandparents, Marilyn and Tommy Jenkins, and Jack and Betty Baker, all of Morganfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Union County. The Rev. Pat Bittel will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
William "Bill" Joseph Fagan
LOUISVILLE -- William "Bill" Joseph Fagan, 47, formerly of Henderson, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at his home here.
He was employed at Nelson Industrial Services since 1995.
Survivors include his mother, Agnes Fagan; two sisters, Janet Finn and Bette Weiler; two brothers, David Fagan and Richard Fagan.
Services are pending at Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, Ill.
C.W. "Bud" Hermes
C.W. "Bud" Hermes, 67, Henderson, died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at his home.
He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, the Henderson Moose Lodge and American Legion Worsham Post No. 40. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and an avid goose hunter. He owned and operated Hand Skill Inc. where he was a maintenance contractor. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Edna; five daughters, Jovonna Hermes and Sonya Mauzey, both of Henderson, Jackie Gass of Blackford, Kelly Davis of Mount Vernon, Ind., and Stacey Hermes of Evansville; his mother, Marie Hermes of Pleasanton, Texas; one sister, Jean Brown of Dilley, Texas; two brothers, Horace Hermes of Jourdanton, Texas, and Paul Hermes of Pleasanton; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Edward Bradley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice or Holy Name of Jesus Continuing the Tradition.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Mauzey, Jimmy Dale Gass, Jason Davis, Clint Pruden, Ben Clark and Earl King.
Doris E. Brank
Doris E. Brank, 73, Henderson, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, from heart failure.
She was retired from Earle C. Clements Job Corps, where she was a resident advisor. She was a member of the Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Brank.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Wanda Austin of Freeport, N.Y.; two sisters, Emma Dixon and Etta M. Tyler, both of Henderson; one brother, John Ed Tyler of Henderson; a caregiver and niece, Evette Floyd of Corydon; three step grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church. The Revs. Charles Johnson and Anthony Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Bertha Odom
STURGIS -- Bertha Odom, 76, Sturgis, formerly of Morganfield, died of a heart attack at 11:59 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Odom, who died in 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Bess Lassack Shouse of Morganfield and Mary Calloway of Evansville; a sister, Beatrice Rigdon of Sebree; one grandson; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield. The Rev. Kenney Odom will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield is in charge of arrangements.
Rebecca Murphy Marsiglio
PROVIDENCE -- Rebecca Murphy Marsiglio, 79, Providence, died at 1:10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a retired registered nurse, a member of Eastern Star and Oak Grove Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Clay.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Cummins.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Roger Marsiglio; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Clay. The Revs. John Shirey and Dale Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Clay.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
