Services for Elmer Beverly Critchfield, 80, of Cloverdale Drive will be 10 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. Ernest Martin and Doug Wesley. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born May 24, 1916, in Jessamine County, he was a son of the late Perritt and Lula Stinnett Critchfield. He had been a butcher for Kroger Co., and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Erby Hutchinson Critchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Crit Barnes, Cecil Hutchinson, Ralph Compton, Corky Deaton, Lee Dunham and Greg Ramey.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.

R. Fred Capps
BURKESVILLE -- Services for R. Fred Capps, 46, Commonwealth's Attorney for the 29th Judicial District, are scheduled for 2 p.m. (CST) today at Norris-New Funeral Home by Allen Canterbury and Raymond Castillo. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery.
He was killed Monday at his home by a gunman.
He was the son of Roy Fred and Delsie Wright Capps of Burksville.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Brown Capps; a son, John Steven Capps of Burkesville; a daughter, Lydia M. Capps of Burkesville; and a brother, Rick Capps of Burkesville.

FRANKFORT -- Tilia Townsend Jones, 20, of Frankfort died Sunday after an auto accident in Shelbyville.
Born Jan. 22, 1980, in Fort Knox, she was a daughter of Roy Townsend and Christine Wade, both of Frankfort.
Survivors include her husband, Ari Jones of Frankfort; a brother, Robert "Buddi" Townsend of Frankfort; and an uncle, Jeff Townsend of Danville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Frankfort, by the Rev. K.L. Moore.
Pallbearers will be Chris Mays, Tommy Mays, Troy Gaines, Charles Redden Jr., Brandon Gordon and Gilbert Amanor.

She died Sunday at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Mich.
Born March 15, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Roberts Sallee. She was the widow of John Joseph Staunton.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- Helen Thompson Byrd, 69, of Woodbridge died here April 20.
Born Dec. 12, 1931, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Brown L. and Connie Miracle Thompson. She was the widow of Rhuben E. Byrd.
Survivors include two sons, Kenny R. Byrd of Erie, Pa., and Mark Byrd of Woodbridge; a daughter, Peggy Ashby of Lake Worth, Fla.; two brothers, Kenneth B. and Frankie D. Thompson, both of Stanford; and several grandchildren.
Services were held at Mountcastle Funeral Home by the Rev. Kenny Byrd. Burial was in Quantico National Cemetery.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Robert L. Decker, 53, of Jacksonville died May 27 at his home.
Born Oct. 2, 1946, in Dalton, Ga., he was a son of Hulah Decker Snow of Stanford the late William J. Decker.
He was an employee of Bell South Telephone Co. in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife, Sherilyn Decker; a son, David J. Decker of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, James H. Decker of Lancaster and Dale S. Decker of Columbia, Md.; two stepdaughters; and two step grandchildren.
Services were held May 31 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, Fla., by the Rev. G.A. Oglesby and Charles Winfield.

Louise M. Dennis
CINCINNATI -- Louise Marshall Dennis, 64, of Cincinnati died Friday.
Born June 26, 1935, in Cincinnati, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Nellie Marshall. She had spent much of her youth with her grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall in Parksville, and attended Wilsonville Elementary School.
Survivors include four daughters, Cynthia Wright, Phyllis Smith, Louisa R. Dennis and Angela Dennis; and a son, Theodore Dennis; two sisters, LaVerne Davie and Denise Marshall; a brother, Tyrone Marshall; and aunts, Ella Mae Marshall and Rosetta Marshall.
Services will be noon Wednesday at Garr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vine Street Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

HARRODSBURG -- Lucille Frances Horn Robinson, 83, of Punta Gorda, Fla., died Monday in Nasvhille, Tenn.
Born Sept. 27, 1917, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hughes Horn. She was a retired teacher having taught in school systems in Harrodsburg and Cincinnati. She was a member of Murdock Christian Church in Port Charlotte, Fla.
Survivors include her husband, John A. Robinson; a daughter, Patricia A. Gaskins of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three brothers, Lee Horn of Cincinnati, Robert and William Horn of Punta Gorda; a sister, Kathleen Chester of Punta Gorda; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dwight Elam. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Bobbie G. Stienecker
ST. MARYS, Ohio -- Bobbie G. Smith Steinecker, 70, of St. Marys died May 29 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
Born May 7, 1929 in Maryville, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Hawkins Smith. She was a graduate of Danville High School. She had been night receptionist for the Joint Township hospital for 23 years and had been in real estate sales. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the church choir. She also was a member of the Sewing Club, Ski Club, music and drama clubs and several bridge clubs. She was a member of the Hawthorne Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and served two terms on the St. Marys City Council.
Survivors include two sons, Mark L. Stienecker of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Scott E. Stienecker of Delaware, Ohio; a sister, Sandra Carver of Irmo, S.C.; and three grandchildren.
Services were Friday at Long and Folk Funeral Home by the Rev. Keith Kilvin. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may go to First Presbyterian Church building fund or American Cancer Society.

She died Sunday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 16, 1925, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Chilton Foster. She was owner of Charm Beauty Shop in Stanford for 31 years and a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, Bethany Sunday School class and Friendship Circle.
Survivors include her husband, Henry T. Anness; a son, Thomas E. Anness of Harrodsburg; three daughters, Audrey Lester of Harrodsburg, Gloria Clark of Georgetown, and Brenda Jeffries of Newburg, Ind.; a brother, Arthur Foster of Richmond; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Nolloth, Ronnie Clark, Thad and Derek Lester, Chris Jeffries, Bret Anness, Todd Doan and Mike Goad.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Bethany Sunday School class.
