WAVERLY -- Elizabeth Russelburg, 86, Waverly, died at 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2001, at Medco Center of Henderson.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waverly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Russelburg, who died in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin Russelburg of Morganfield, and Darrell Russelburg of Waverly; two sisters, Sister Blanch Rita Bickett and Sister Agnes Irene Bickett, both of Mount St. Joseph; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waverly. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
Elizabeth Stanley Taylor
Elizabeth Stanley Taylor, 88, Henderson, died at 7:17 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001, at her daughter's home here.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Henderson and the Fidelis Circle. She was also employed at Bohn's for more than 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Taylor, who died in 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Williams of Henderson; one son, Homer Taylor Jr. of Owensboro; one sister, Margaret Gayle Stanley of Henderson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

PROVIDENCE -- Howard B. McElroy, 65, Providence, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He was a coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
Survivors include three daughters, Latrice Tillman of Hampton, Ga., Natasha Simpson of Earlington, and Edith Hall McElroy of Madisonville; three sons, Carlis McElroy of Lexington, Howard McElroy Jr. of Vermont, and Derico Mooney of Korea; five sisters, Ernestine McElroy and Louise Williams of Mississippi, Paula Caudill and Cara Herrall, both of Providence, and Anna Jones of Madisonville; three brothers, the Rev. John McElroy of Providence, David McElroy of East Chicago, Ind., and Jerry McElroy of Joilet, Ill.; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Worship Center in Providence. The Rev. Marvin Hightower will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Hill Cemetery in Providence.

PROVIDENCE -- Lola Gobin, 95, Providence, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Providence, where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Tyson of Madisonville; one son, William "Bill" Bishop of Madisonville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence. The Rev. Noble Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

SEBREE -- Maurice Nelson Floyd, 74, of the Mount Lebanon community near Sebree, died at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2001, at his home.
He was retired from the state road department and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Hampton Floyd; two daughters, Teresa Cole and Karen Parker, both of Sebree; two sons, Raymond "Skip" Floyd and Robert Floyd, both of Sebree; one sister, Juanita Kendall of Okeechobee, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Tompkins Funeral Homes, Sebree-Poole Chapel in Sebree. The Revs. Richard Snyder and Rudy Moser will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Lebanon Cemetery near Sebree.

He was a coal miner.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Menser; four daughters, Gayle Franklin of Dawson Springs, Dale Rawley of Wake Forest, N.C., Kathy Phillips of Nebo, Ky., and Nina Rich of Clay; three sons, Tommy Menser of Morganfield, Danny Menser of Henderson and Ronnie Menser of Providence; one sister, Betty Menser of Dawson Springs; four brothers, Earl Menser, William Menser, and Donald Menser, all of Dawson Springs, and Douglas Menser of St. Charles, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence. The Bros. Joe Groves and Darrel Menser will officiate. Burial will be in McNeely Cemetery in Dawson Springs.

BOONES MILL, Va. -- Tara Michelle Spencer Spradlin, 26, Boones Mill, died from injuries sustained in an auto accident Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was a manager at Ippy's Restaurant. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Spotsylvania County and a graduate of Woodson High School in Fairfax, Va., and Ferrum College.
Survivors include her mother, Debra Fuoco of Fredericksburg, Va.; her father, Thomas Spencer of Issauquh, Wash.; her stepfather, Stephen Fuoco of Fredericksburg; her grandmother, Helen Spencer of Henderson; her grandfather, Gene Powers of Henderson; two sisters, Lindsay Fuoco of Fredericksburg and Kate Spencer of Issauquh; and two brothers, Michael Fuoco of Fredericksburg and Zachary Spencer of Issauquh.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. The Rev. David P. Meng will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Nellie Marie Downs
Nellie Marie Downs, 68, Henderson, died at 9:36 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home.
She was a member of Fifth Street Church of God of Prophecy.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kay Browne, who died in 1984.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Miles A. Downs; two sons, Steve Downs and Miles F. Downs, both of Corydon; her granddaughter and custodial child of 17 years, Daniele Allison Baker of Arlington, Va.; one sister, Phyllis Stone of Henderson; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
