CLAY -- Agnes L. Ball, 95, Clay, died Monday, June 11, 2001, at Holly Heights Nursing Home in Denver, Colo.
She was a member of Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay for more than 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ball, who died in 1989.
Survivors include one son, John Ball of Denver; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay. The Rev. Silas Ripato will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.

Jerome "Tubby" McFarland
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Jerome "Tubby" McFarland, 44, died of heart failure Saturday, June 9, 2001, at his home here.
He served in the military. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, basketball, and football.
Survivors include one daughter, LaTanya Fortune of Milwaukee; two sons, Jeremy McFarland and Ivory McFarland, both of Fort Lauderdale; his father, McIvory McFarland of Henderson; four sisters, Cecelia Williamson of Lauderhill, Fla., Valisa McFarland and Marquitta McFarland of Evansville, and Joyce Ann McFarland of Henderson; four brothers, William Daniels of Fort Lauderdale, Lawrence McFarland, John Stacey McFarland, and McIvory "June Bug" McFarland, all of Henderson; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Services are pending at Osborne Funeral Home in Evansville.
Susan L. Baldwin
Susan L. Baldwin, 95, Henderson, died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Redbanks nursing home.
She was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Baldwin, who died in 1981.
Survivors include one son, Curtis Baldwin of Henderson; one brother, Anthony Hall of Henderson; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are pending at Tapp Funeral Home.
James Walter McKinney
PROVIDENCE -- James Walter McKinney, 64, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at his home here.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of VFW Post 5484. He was also an employee of the City of Marion, Ky.
Survivors include his mother, Dora McKinney of Princeton, Ky.; three sisters, Peggy Cox of Angleton, Texas; Ruby Driver of Carrisville, Ky; and Janice Gibbs of Evansville; one brother, Danny McKinney of Madisonville; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence. The Rev. Robert Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Maple View Cemetery in Marion, Ky.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, and from 8 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
Billy R. Thayer
STURGIS -- Billy R. Thayer, 73, Sturgis, died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Morganfield from a combination of a stroke and pneumonia.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was a retired coal miner, a member of the United Mine Workers of America and a member of the Dekovan Masonic Lodge No. 577.
Survivors include his wife, Dollie Thayer; two daughters, Heidi Thayer and Pam Rasor, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sons, Mason Thayer of Shawneetown, Ill., and Earl Thayer of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Bro. John Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.

Mary Frances Royster Givens
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Mary Frances Royster Givens, 97, Memphis, formerly of Henderson and Fort Myers Beach, Fla., died at 8 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2001, at Primacy Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Memphis.
She lived in Henderson most of her life and retired to Florida in 1969. She was a noted artist and a member of the Fort Myers Beach Art Society. She was also a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dudley Givens Jr., who died in 1975.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Givens Moore of Oxford, Miss., and Frances Givens Kee of Memphis; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one niece, Sara Givens Crafton of Henderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fernwood Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Morrison will officiate. Entombment will be in Fernwood Cemetery Mausoleum.

Bert Melton Fleming
WALLAND, Tenn. -- Bert Melton Fleming, 52, Walland, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Blount County Medical Center of heart failure.
She was previously employed at P.P.G. Industries.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Ronald W. Fleming; two sons, Mark Parrish of Reed and Tony Parrish of Fishers, Ind.; a stepson, Joey Fleming of Evansville; her parents, Ray and Juanita Melton of Newburgh, Ind.; three sisters, Judy Holder and Wanda Moore, both of Evansville; and Moneta Holloman of Chandler, Ind.; three brothers, David Melton of Reed, Donnie Melton of Dale, Ind., and Larry Melton of Newburgh; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander West Chapel in Evansville. The Rev. Troy Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville.

Lillian A. Delker, 83, Henderson, died at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Delker Sr., who died Nov. 13, 1989.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary L. DeAngelis, Elizabeth Luck, and Margaret Perry, all of Henderson; three sons, Richard Dean Delker of Gainesville, Fla., George E. Delker Jr. of Henderson, and Thomas C. Delker of Robbinsville, N.C.; one sister, Mildred Peters of Union, Mo.; one brother, Leroy Temme of Florrisant, Mo.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at noon Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Edward Bradley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.
