A native of Harlan, Kennedy was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond Kennedy; her father, Chad Nolan; and two brothers: Donald and Richard Nolan.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Kennedy, Cincinnati, Ohio; a son-in-law, Brian Sanderfer, Cincinnati, Ohio; her mother, Mable Baker Mitchell, Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren: Garrett Middleton and Brian Sanderfer; five sisters: Vivian Perkins, Coxton; Anna Jones, Verda; Judy Webb and husband, Roger, Evarts; Lillian Cardish and husband, Gerald, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Darlene Kralicek and husband, Wiley, Oregon; three brothers: Ronald Nolan and wife, Sharon, Baxter; Bobby Nolan, Cumberland; and Vernon Mitchell, Fort Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation is today and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Kirby and the Rev. Stan Nicely officiating.
Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Wanda Causey Lambert, 45, Oak Hill, W.Va., formerly of Evarts, died Jan. 19, 2006, at her residence.
A native of Chicago, Lambert was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Causey.
Survivors include her mother, Ann Marie Causey, Oak Hill, W.Va.; three children: Robert Lambert, Oak Hill, W.Va.; Renee Lambert, Georgia; and Daniel Lambert, London; three sisters: Peggy Ann Wynn, Rebecca Causey and Nancy Causey, all of Lexington; three brothers: Tommy Causey, Oak Hill, W.Va.; James Causey and Ricky Causey, both of Lexington; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Harold Eric Madden, 29, Evarts, died Jan. 20, 2006, in an automobile accident.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Evarts.
Madden was a graduate of Evarts High School and Eastern Kentucky University.
He was a medical technologist at Hazard ARH Hospital and a member of the American Pathology Association.
He has been active in the ROTC while a student.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sally and Irvin Dodson; and his paternal grandfather, Burley Madden.
Survivors include his wife, Kristie Jones Madden, Evarts; a daughter, Cherish Grace Jones, Evarts; his parents, Frieda Dodson and James Harold Madden, Evarts; his grandmother, Geneva Hamilton, Pineville; two sisters: Melissa Hough and husband, Robert; and Michelle Madden, all of Louisville; a brother, James Kevin Madden, Evarts; nieces and nephews: Jamie Madden, Kevin Madden, Joshua Coe, Sarah Coe and Emily Hough; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. today at Verda First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.
Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one son, Donald McCurry and wife, Tina Bookout McCurry, Ocala, Fla.; one daughter, Brenda McCurry Miller and husband, Barclay, Enterprise, Ala.; two sisters: June Browning, Harlan; and Sally Bennett, Missouri; one brother, Jack Tolliver, Harlan; five grandchildren: Jeff McCurry and wife, Wendy, Jacksonville, Fla.; Michael McCurry and wife, Lisa, Knoxville, Tenn.; Jason McCurry and wife, Leslie, Boston; Leah Walls and husband, Chris, Chandler, Ariz.; and Jennifer McNeal and husband, Chris, Enterprise, Ala.; and six great-grandchildren: Kyle, Cameron and Kara McCurry, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; Miller and Mallory Walls, Chandler, Ariz.; and Tess McNeal, Enterprise, Ala.; one aunt, Daisy Shepherd, Lynch; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean Stanley Middleton, 60, Harlan, died Jan. 26, 2006, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a restaurant worker having worked for several restaurants in Harlan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Stanley and Viola Stanley Johnson; one daughter, Martha Jean Brock; one sister, Margaret Johnson; and a niece, Pamela Foley.

Pearl C. Nantz, 60, New Tazewell, Tenn., died Jan. 19, 2006, at Claiborne County Hospital.
Born March 2, 1945, Nantz owned Quikstop Market for 11 years and Discount Tobacco for four years. He worked for Dingo and Stansberry Mines. He also owned several restaurants in Cincinnati for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ora Nantz; and a brother, Cova Nantz.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Nantz, New Tazewell, Tenn.; five children: Chris Nantz and wife Elizabeth, Tazewell, Tenn.; and Pearl Nantz Jr., New Tazewell, Tenn.; Emily Steele and husband, John, Downing Town, Pa.; Lisa Nantz, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Allen Sulfridge and fianc', Jennifer Short; two grandsons: Austin Nantz and Elijah Nantz; a granddaughter due in April; his mother, Ethel 'Granny' Nantz; 10 brothers and sisters: Snowden Nantz and wife, Alma; Sue Burton, Sarah Spencer and husband, Jack; Jerry Nantz and wife, Patty; Elsie Lewis and husband, Harold; Robert Nantz, Mary Bedwell and husband, Andrew; Butch Nantz, Jimmy Nantz, and Linda Hall and husband, Ray; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
