Jessie 'Maxine' Youngblood, 86, Louisville, formerly of Corbin, died March 20, 2005, in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
She had served with her husband, the Rev. James B. Youngblood, at various pastorates throughout Tennessee and Kentucky during his 45-year ministerial career. She was a member of the New Vision Ministry Center (formerly the Okolona Church of God).
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, the Rev. James B. Youngblood; one daughter, Rebekah McLain and husband, Wayne; three sons: the Rev. Samuel Youngblood and wife, Mary Ruth; John Arthur Youngblood and wife, Deborah; and James D. Youngblood and wife, Shirley; one sister, Camilla Putman and husband, J.T.; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be Saturday at 10 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home in Corbin.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Paula Farmer and Gerald Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.

\James Harold Bowlin, 57, Evarts, died April 2, 2005, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A native of Chevrolet, he was a disabled coal miner for Golden Glow Coal Company in Liggett and believed in the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Bowlin and Mary Lynch Bowlin.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Gwynn (White) Bowlin, Harlan; two children: Mary Dawn Bowlin, Harlan; and Joy Denise Bowlin; two sisters: Mildred Moore and husband, R.D., Rock Hill, S.C.; and Sharon Farley and husband, Randy, Corbin; one granddaughter, Jasimyne Bowlin, Harlan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Kirby officiating.
Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Sherry Lynn Ayers, 39, Corbin, formerly of Evarts, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Ayers was an agent for the American National Insurance Company and a member of the Closplint Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Ayers, Corbin; her parents, Wayne and Reva Witt, London; two daughters: Chasity Brooke LeFevers Cooper and husband, Ricky, Corbin; and Payton Rikki Ann Ayers, Corbin; a mother-in-law, Flora Heck, Corbin; two brothers: Tommy C. Witt and wife, Lisa, London; and Scotty Witt and wife, Melissa, London; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday at Bowling Funeral Home in London.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Stewart and Rev. Merle Caudill officiating.
Burial will follow at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.

Rodney Leon Back, 45, Portage, Ind., died Oct. 24, 2005.
He was born Sept. 26, 1960, in Lynch, the son of Lue and Fannie (Cornett) Back. Back served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married
on Oct. 8, 1995, to Judi Lanette Gilbert. He enjoyed his work and was a self-employed electrician and worked on many business signs. Back was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. His main love was as a race car driver who built his own car, designed the car graphics and raced all over the Midwest, but mainly at the Crown Point Speedway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry Back and Burchiss Back; sister, Mary Back; and great niece, Jonie Lynn.
Survivors include his wife, Judi Back, Portage; his children: Patrick Back and fianc', Mandi Davis, Hampton, Va.; Bre-Ann Back, Portage; Brandon Back and wife, Theresa, Portage; and Rodney Back, Portage; a grandson, Brandon Izaac Leon; brothers: James Back, Fordsville; Noah Back and fiance, Linda, Valparaiso; Roger Back and wife, Kristy, Wanatah; and Benjamin Back and wife, Betty, Everetts; sisters: Carolyn Gedmer and husband, Norbert, N.C.; Alta Turner and husband, Johnny, Gordon; and Sharon Morris and husband, Tom, Portage; in-laws, Bill and Toni Gilbert; grandparents, Tony and Fran Springman; Valparaiso; sisters-in-law, Jonie Baldwin and husband, Mike, Portage; and Francine Emmet and husband, Chuck, Portage; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday at Engel Funeral Home in Portage.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the funeral home with Pastor John Allen officiating.
Burial was held at McCool Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Bauer; and her siblings: Dora Montgomery; Ruby Hale; Eugene Wynn; Willard Wynn; and Arville 'Ott' Wynn.

Senora Bowen, 84, Hulen, died Nov. 12, 2005, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A native of Bell County, Bowen was a homemaker and had worked several years at A & P in Michigan before moving back home. She believed in the Pentecostal faith. She had also been a resident of The Laurels and the Harlan Nursing Home for the last few years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hye and Maudie Smith Brock; and her husband, Roy Bowen.
Survivors include a stepson she raised, Larry Bowens, Paducah; two brothers: Manuel Smith and wife as well as special caregiver, Wilma Jean, Coldiron; and Tony Smith and wife, Wanda, Columbia, Tenn.; two sisters: Georganna Johnson and husband, Wade, Bell County; and Mary Elizabeth Cusomono and husband, Tony, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; two stepgrandchildren, Michael and Chris Bowens; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home from noon until 2 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Balkan Cemetery in Bell County with the Rev. George Maggard officiating.

Earl Bowling, 90, Lynch, died Oct. 25, 2005, at his residence following a long illness.
He was a native of Laurel County and had been a resident of Lynch since 1930. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He was a member of the Lynch United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Brotherton Bowling; his parents, Charlie and Rosa Proffitt Bowling; a daughter, Hazel Bowling; and two sons, Bobby Gene Bowling and Eugene Bowling.
Survivors include five children: Dorothy Gibson and husband, Ed, Lynch; Charles Bowling and wife, Sharon, Cumberland; Lois Hodges, Hunnington Beach, Calif.; Kimberly Cornett and husband, Delmas, Cumberland; and Bobby Bowling and wife, Tina, Lynch; two brothers, Ted Bowling, Neville, Ohio; and Glenn Bowling, East Bernstadt; eight grandchildren: Pvt. Michael Cornett, Christopher Cornett, Melissa Metcalfe, Mark Bowling, Heidi Brooks, Brandi Jones, Bobby Bowling and Cody Maggard; and three great-grandchildren: Amber Bowling, LeAnne Bowling and Katherine Brooks.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Tri City Funeral Home in Benham.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Hugh Webb officiating.
Interment will follow in Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Hiram.
Pallbearers will be Bob Lunsford, Eugene Wilder, Jimmy Scott, Don Allen, Jeff Boggs and Hal Woods.
