Calvin Rolo Yaden, 68, Howell, Mich., died Jan. 28, 2005.
A native of Cumberland, he was a graduate of Cumberland High School. He had resided in Michigan for 50 years, retired from Ford Motor Company and continued his love of farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cora Overbey Yaden, and one brother, Ralph Yaden.
Survivors include his children: Debbie McConnell and husband, Bob, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Calvin Donald Yaden and wife, Kim, Howell, Mich.; Theresa Carroll and husband, Jeff, Fort Wayne, Ind.; John Yaden and wife, Cathy, Howell, Mich.; and Thomas Yaden, Howell, Mich.; six grandchildren; sisters: Lorene Mullins, Florence, and Kathleen Cannon and husband, Ed, Cumberland; and one brother, Douglas Yaden and wife, Doris, Cumberland.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 1 at MacDonald's Funeral Home in Howell, Mich.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association.

Larry Wayne York, 53, Mary Alice, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 10, 1951, in Bardo. He was a security guard for Martins Fork Security and was a member of the Pansy Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Alonzo and Opal Sandlin York.
Survivors include his wife, Joey Faye York, Mary Alice; two daughters: Cathy Jo York Wynn and husband, Billy, Mary Alice; and Susan Joey Warren and husband, Robert Lee, Huntington, WVa; one grandson: Jacob Wayne Wynn; one granddaughter on the way; three sisters: Betty Burns, Mary Alice; Judy K. York, Ashland; and Alice Bennett, Ashland; two brothers: Alonzo York Jr., Russell, and Stephen York, Mary Alice; several other relatives and friends, and special family friend, James Barker.
Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Terry Nelson officiating.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pansy Christian Church Building Fund.

Opal Sandlin York, 82, Mary Alice, died Feb. 2, 2005, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Buckhorn. She was a homemaker and believed in the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Belle Edwards Sandlin; her husband, Alonzo York; one brother; and two sisters.
Survivors include five children: Betty Burns, Mary Alice; Stephen York, Mary Alice; Alice Bennett, Ashland; Judy K. York, Ashland; and Alonzo York Jr., Russell; one daughter-in-law, Joey Faye York, Mary Alice; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, James Barker.
Visitation is today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Nelson officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Willis Clayton 'Hammer' Blevins, 52, St. Charles, Va., died Feb. 13, 2005, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va.
A native of Lee County, Va., he was a retired coal miner and a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Charles, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Willis and Polly Asher Blevins.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Blevins; Sgt. Willis Clayton Blevins Jr. and wife, Shari, Grand Forks, N.D.; two daughters: Deadra Howard and husband, Ren, Jonesville, Va.; and Tamara Blevins and adopted daughter, Misti Napier; three grandchildren: William Spencer Howard, Kenneth Tyler Blevins and Zachary Ryan Blevins; two brothers: Timothy Joseph Blevins, Maness, Va.; and William Boyd 'Tom' Blevins, Bell County; eight sisters: Linda Gail Runion, Glenda 'Kat' Blevins and Mary Lou Blevins, all of Bell County; Wilma Jean Barnette, Richmond; Wanda Ann Blevins-Poteet, Woodway, Va.; Jennifer Caldwell, Bell County; Paula Brock, Jacksonville; Fla.; and Cynthia Howard, Bell County.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Paul Davis Jr. officiating.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lee Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 to go to the cemetery.

Ruth Caroline Spurlock Brock, 79, Cawood, died Feb. 12, 2005, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
A Harlan County native, she was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Joanna Browning Spurlock; a daughter-in-law, Linda Sue Brock; five brothers: Billie Spurlock, Nathan Spurlock, Lincoln Spurlock, Leander Spurlock and Alex Spurlock; and five sisters: Isabell Luckadoo, Mary Dean, Louise Blanton, Mimmie Blanton and Martha Spurlock.
Survivors include her husband, Harold 'Dolly' Brock, Cawood; five children: Norma Pennington and husband, Fred, Dryden, Va.; James Ed Brock, Cawood; Larry W. Brock and wife, Janie, Pennington Gap, Va.; Jerry L. Brock and wife, Norma, Cawood; and Kathy Brock, London; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Craig officiating.
Burial will follow in Brock Family Cemetery in Cawood.

Pauline H. Daniel, 78, London, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
A native of Pennington Gap, Va., she was a homemaker and member of Hart Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl (Stapleton) Harber and Benjamin Franklin Harber.
Survivors include her husband, Harmon Daniel Sr., London; four sons: Harmon Daniel Jr., Piqua, Ohio; Joe F. Daniel, London; Michael A. Daniel, Harrogate, Tenn.; and David A. Daniel, Nicholasville; one brother, Orbin J. Harber, Denver, Colo.; four sisters: Ilene Stewart, Pennington Gap, Va.; Marie Howard, Harlan; Stella Payne, Bristol, Tenn.; and Doris Ann Brown, Woodsville, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at London Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Jeff Jackson officiating.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Daniel Cemetery in Rose Hill, Va.

Lawrence Howard Helton, 89, Wallins, died Feb. 10, 2005, at the Harlan Nursing Home.
Helton was born April 29, 1916, in Catrons Creek. He was a member and board member of the Wallins Christian Church and also played music for the church. He retired from the Harlan Vocational School and also worked for Molus Coal Company, Creech Coal Company and the Harlan County Board of Education.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pattie Ewards Helton; his sisters: Delorea Hopkins, Lelia Kirby and Ann Scott; and his brothers: John Helton Jr., Clarence Helton and Delno Helton.
Survivors included his wife of 68 years, Margie M. Cobb Helton; two sisters: Ruby Howard and husband, Jack, Lafollette, Tenn.; and Edna Ray Howard and husband, William Howard, Wallins; one niece, a host of nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation is today at Wallins Christian Church from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church with burial following in Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. John Carwell officiating.
Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
