Loretta Rousch, 63, Las Vegas, died May 16, 2004.
A native of Cumberland, she was a retired computer technician and was a resident of Las Vegas for five years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Jewell King Holland; and a sister, Lynn Charon.
Survivors include two sons: Joe Sweet, California, and Chad Rousch, Las Vegas; two daughters: Tammy Williams, Lexington, and Patricia Rebstock, Mississippi; eight grandchildren; three sisters: Ruby Corwin, Las Vegas; Peggy Leland, Henderson; and Shelby Davis, Totz; and four brothers: Jim Holland, Lynch; E.J. Holland, Totz; John Holland, Shelbyville; and Carl Holland, Ohio.
Services were previously held.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Memorial Funeral Home.

Wanda Jeanette Scott Sellers, 39, died Nov. 11, 1987, in Saint Augustine, Fla.
Formerly of Lynch, Sellers was a beautician and believed in the Baptist faith.
She is preceded by her mother, Rhoda Scott Wise, in death.
Survivors include her father, Cebert Scott, Tazewell, Tenn.; four children: Mary Stone, Saint Augustine, Fla.; Clavis Sellers, Jacksonville, Fla.; Rhoda Cette Raney, Middleton, Ohio; and Rebecca Lee Sellers, Canton, Ohio; one sister, Connie Gail Scott Blair, Calhoun, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland with the Rev. Glalyn Dixon officiating.

Anna Mae Smock, 58, Warsaw, Ind., formerly of Evarts, died July 29, 2004, at Warsaw Memorial Hospital.
A former English teacher, she believed in the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glessie and Christian Smock.
Survivors include a brother and sister, Chad Smock and wife, Eva, Evarts; and Mary Lee Brittain and husband, Noel, Sparta, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Evarts Memorial Garden with the Rev. Dallas Messer officiating.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Jay Wallace Brown, 67, Cumberland, died Sept. 28, 2004, at his residence.
A native of Utah, he was a retired coal miner from Arch of Kentucky, a veteran of the U.S. military, a volunteer firefighter for Cumberland Fire Department and he believed the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Una Mae Brown, and his parents, Morton and Violet Brown.
Survivors include one son, Mitchell Brown, Hoodsport, Wash.; one daughter, Kristy Cox, Cumberland; three brothers: Jerry Brown, Portland Ore.; Lloyd Brown, Windover, Utah; and Fred Brown, Burleson, Tex.; four sisters: Bonnie Tilbury, Windover, Utah; Betty Haven, Lancaster, Calif.; Raye Freemon, Windover, Utah; and Madge Grant, Richland, Ore.; and two grandchildren: Ryan Danielle Sergent and Bly Sergent, both of Cumberland.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Deacon Tip Sexton officiating.

James Asher, 67, Harlan, died Sept. 18, 2004, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A native of Harlan County, he was retired coal miner with over 20 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masons 879 F.&A.M.;, Scottish Rite, Oleika Shrine Temple in Lexington and Harlan Eastern Star 237.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Lola Mae Rains Asher; and his stepfather, Walter Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Lowe Asher, Harlan; three children: James Asher, Lexington; Mary Asher, Harlan; and Noah Asher and wife, Michelle, Harlan; seven grandchildren: Brendon Lee Asher, Allison Asher, Bradley Asher, Leanna Asher, Courtney Asher, Taylor Asher and Shanisa Williams; two brothers: Bob Asher and wife, Sandy, Harlan; and Bud Asher and wife, Willie Mae, Harlan; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson & Laws Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson & Laws Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roy McNiel officiating.
Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Asher Cemetery in Watts Creek with Masonic Services being observed by the Harlan Masonic Lodge 879 F.&A.M.;
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Deaton, Don Deaton II, Morris Edward Deaton, Curtis Browning, Noble Jones, Joe Snapp and Oscar Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital in Lexington or to the Sunshine Baptist Church building fund.

Jack Thomas Ball, 82, Tremont, died Oct. 5, 2004, at his residence.
A native of Lee County, Va., he was a member of the Pineflat Baptist Church and a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Ball and Margaret Stapleton Ball; one son, Donnie Ball; six sisters: Bonnie Witt, Evelyn Kelly, Bessie Napier, Goldie Cayton, Jean Hall and Virginia Ball.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nannie Blair Ball, Tremont; 13 children: Loretta King, Leona Aldridge and Larry Ball and wife, Claudia, all of Louisville; Lonnie Ball, Tampa, Fla.; Leslie Ball, Lawrence Ball and wife, Carmen, and Lorne Ball and wife, Pam, Lisa Pyles and Teresa Ball, all of Tremont; Author Ball and wife, Kathy, Corbin; Roger Ball and wife, Paula, Wallins; Ruth Gooden and husband, Tim, Baxter; and Phillip Ball and wife, Michelle, Evarts; four brothers: Bill Ball, St. Albans, W.Va.; James Ball, Richmond, W.Va.; Floyd Ball, Tremont; and Robert Ball, Closplint; and one sister, Cora Kelly, Tampa Fla. Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Harlan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Simpson officiating.
Interment will be at Harlan County Memorial Gardens in Tremont.

Larry R. Ball, 57, Galion, Ohio, died Sept. 20, 2004, at Ohio State University Hospital after an illness.
He was a native of Harlan County and was a retired supervisor of ITT/North Electric. He was a member of Sons of the AMVETS 1979, and the Sons of the American Legion Post 243. He was also in various golf leagues.
He was preceded in death by his father, Critt Ball.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Jones, Newton, Ala.; his wife, Carolyn Eusey, Ohio; his son, Larry Ball and wife, Bonnie, Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Alisha; two grandchildren: Josha and Donsiha; three sisters: Norma Holden, Palm Beach, Fla.; Barbara Brackett, Newton, Ala.; and Annabelle Angel and husband, Charles, Louisville.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Lee Surgener officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the funeral.
Burial will follow in the Crawford County Memory Gardens.
