Doyle Moore, 37, Sevierville, Tenn., died March 28, 2004, at his home.
A native of Harlan County, he was a disabled coal miner.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Webb Moore; his father, Leslie Moore and a brother, Larry Moore.
Survivors include four sisters: Ernestine Alsdorf, Sevierville, Tenn; Shirley Allen and her husband, Hampton, Evarts; Loretta Stanton and her husband, Jack, Lejunior; and Rhonda Carver Moore, Holmes Mill; four brothers: Roger Moore and wife, Linda, Sevierville, Tenn.; Danny Moore and wife, Viola, Harlan; David Moore and wife, Charlene, Holmes Mill; and Fred Moore and wife, Beulah, Seaman, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Regina Moore, Pineville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Arnold Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Maggie Peace, 86, Vansant, Va., formerly of Cumberland, died March 29, 2004, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bell County, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Vansant, Va.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Teasley and her second husband, Chester Peace; two brothers: John Hatfield Jr. and Justice Hatfield; three sisters: Chelsa Hatfield, Evelyn Hatfield Turner and Edna Hatfield Bush; and a granddaughter, Junie Kimberly Looney.
Survivors include four children: Leon Teasley and wife, Lois, Knoxville, Tenn.; Bobbie Jean Looney and husband, Muncie Jr., Vansant, Va.; Patricia Ann Sturgill and husband, Billy Ray, Dismal, Va.; and Tammy Arlene Elswick and husband, Timothy, Vansant, Va.; three brothers: Fred Hatfield and wife, Aislee, Cumberland; Jack Hatfield and wife, Ruby, Benham; and Pierce Hatfield and wife, Myrtle, Cumberland; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today and Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Tri-City Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of the funeral.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Ratliff, of Vansant, Va., officiating.
Burial will follow in the D.L. Creech Cemetery in Cumberland.
Pallbearers will include grandsons and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. J.P. Sutherland, Dr. J.G. Patel, Dr. J. Larsen, Junior Looney and Billy Ray Sturgill.

Clyde W. 'Rodney' Petrey, 35, Science Hill, died March 28, 2004, at his home.
A native of Indianapolis, he lived in Ridgeway before moving to Science Hill. He was employee of the Larry Flynn Construction Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith Blevins Petrey and Clyde Petrey Jr.
Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth Hubbard, Somerset; a stepdaughter, Dakota Petrey; three nieces: Christina Hubbard, Michelle Hubbard and Kimberly Hubbard; a nephew, Michael Fleenor and a great-nephew, Bryan Fleenor.
Visitation is today at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Grant Chadwick officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Evarts Memorial Gardens.

Karen Saylor, 36, Dizney, died March 30, 2004, at her home.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Kenvir Church of God Mountain Assembly and held the office of treasurer and was a former Sunday school teacher and was vice-president of the Willing Workers group. She believed in the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Pate.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Marty Saylor, Dizney; two sons: Jeremiah and Patrick Saylor, both of Dizney; her father, James Phillip Pate, Eastbrook; two brothers: Dewayne Pate and wife, Helen, Pineville; and Jamie Pate and wife, Valerie, Berea; two sisters: Carolyn Nipper and husband, Darrell, Berea; and Sharon Pate, Berea; a mother-in-law, Georgia Saylor, Kenvir; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation is Thursday and Friday at 2 p.m. at the Kenvir Church of God Mountain Assembly.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Lonnie Lyke, the Rev. Jack Carmical and brother John Luttrell officiating.
Family and friends and brothers of the Kenvir Church of God will serve as pallbearers.

Oscar Lee Smith, 48, Harlan, died March 27, 2004.
A retired coal miner, he believed in the Church of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byrd Smith; and a sister, Oma Oscar.
Survivors include his mother, Medie Smith, Duffield, Va.; one daughter, Misty Smiley, Weston, Ohio; three sons: Oscar M. Smith, Byrd L. Smith and Shawn K. Smith, all of Cawood; three grandchildren: Caleb D. and Breanne Smilley and Taylor D. Smith; three sisters: Earlene Johnson, Rosspoint; Alice Faye Smith, Ohio; and Ella Mae Lumpkins, Louisville; and four brothers: Darrell Smith and Roscoe Smith, both of Cawood; Larry Smith, Smith; and Chester Smith, Rose Hill, Va.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, Va.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ewing Cemetery in Jonesville, Va. with the Rev. Franklin Stewart officiating.

Cecil Stallard
Cecil Stallard, 84, Evarts, died March 30, 2004, at Britthaven of Tri-Cities.
A native of Erwin, Tenn., he lived in Evarts most of his life. He was a former boss for the Peabody Coal Company and had been a barber at Stallard's Barber Shop for 30 years. He was a member of the Evarts Baptist Church and the Yocum Lodge No. 897 where he recently received his 50-year pin.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Taulby Stallard; his father, Nathan 'Doc' Stallard; two sons: Lee Roy Stallard and Earl Jonathan Stallard; and four sisters: Ollie Stallard Simpson and triplet infant sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Madden Stallard, Evarts; three sons: Nathan Stallard and wife, Brenda, Harrogate; Herbert Stallard and wife, Janeen, Evarts; and Curtis Stallard and wife, Susan, Evarts; two sisters: Wilma Shackleford, Corbin; and Patsy Thomas, Moline, Ill.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Evarts Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Faulkner and the Rev. John Luttrell officiating.
