Burial: Burial will be: Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11AM at Resthaven Cemetery.
Survivors: He is survived by: His mother, Delcia Davis; his wife, Connie Jo Davis; a mother-in-law, Clumbine Renfro; a brother, and sister-in-law, Eddie and Mary Blanton all of Teetersville. A daughter, Beverly Ellis, two grandchildren, J.R. Ellis and Mandy Ellis; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jasean Ellis all of Knoxville, TN. One niece, Karen Joyce and her husband, Denny Hall and one great-Nephew, Gavin Hall all of Cumberland, KY. He is also survived by a special companion, Ginger Belle. .
He is preceded in death by: His grandparents, Bill and Nettie Logan; his father, Clyde Davis; his father-in-law, Ed Blanton; sister-in-law, Sandra Coldiron Adams; brothers-in-law, James Coldiron and Charlie Adams and many special friends. .
Facts: After an extended illness, Ronald Cecil-Dean Davis passed from this life into eternal rest at the age of 65 at his home in Teetersville on Friday, October 17, 2008. Ron was born on Saturday, March 6, 1943. He spent many years as a member of the Harlan Volunteer Rescue Squad and a member of the Harlan Volunteer Fire Department, the Harlan JC’s and a former dispatcher for the Harlan County Sheriff Office. He was a member of the Housing Authority Board and the Harlan ARH Advisory Board. He was a previously employed by WHLN Radio, American General Life Insurance Agency, Golden Glow Coal Company and the Housing Authority of Harlan. .

James Morton Brewster
1933-2010
OLIVE HILL – James Morton Brewster, age 76, of State Hwy. 174, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, at his residence.
He was born September 21, 1933, in Carter County, Kentucky, son of the late Robert Lee and Anna Dee Conn Brewster. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Wilford, and Norton Brewster, and five sisters, Blanche Tackett, Clara Davis, Mae Haywood, LouElla Gee, and Geneva Cox.
He is survived by his wife, Earnesteen Conley Brewster, whom he married
July 10, 1953; one son, Danny Ray Brewster and wife Teresa of Shelby, Ohio; five daughters, Kathy Wise and husband Paul of Celestine, Indiana, Christine Kilgore and husband Keith of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Brenda Surgener and husband Terry of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Debbie Brewster and fiancé, Bob Stacy of Morehead, Kentucky, and Rhonda Brown and husband Keith of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; four step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers, Willard Brewster of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and John Brewster of West Milton, Ohio, and two sisters, Fern Fultz of Marion, Indiana, and Charlene Horton of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Mr. Brewster retired from Empire Steel in Mansfield, Ohio, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Dean and the Rev. Daniel Long officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Hill Memorial Gardens.

Harold Otis Buchanan
1935-2010
MOREHEAD – Harold Otis Buchanan, age 74, of Clover Way, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at his residence.
He was born September 22, 1935, in Tullahoma, Tennessee, son of the late David Toliver Buchanan and Lucy Mildred Jones Buchanan Hill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Buchanan.
His wife, Gracie Slusher Dillon Buchanan, whom he married
August 15, 1974, preceded him in death on June 8, 2007.
He is survived by one son, James Dillon of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter, Judith Kay and husband Arlie Perry of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Diana Brown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; one brother, James Buchanan of Sauk Village, Illinois; two sisters, Lois Noblett of Tennessee and Doris Gish of Livingston, Kentucky; two grandsons, David Blake Dillon and Brandon James Dillon; and one great granddaughter, Payton Dillon.
Harold was a retired employee of the Ball Glass Company in Dolton, Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. H. G. Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Crix Cemetery.

Milton “Ray” Plank
1939-2010
MOREHEAD – Milton “Ray” Plank, age 70, of Winchester, Indiana, formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospice and Pallative Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born September 29, 1939, in Rowan County, Kentucky, son of the late Elmer Thomas Plank and Cora Mae Esham Plank. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Plank and Homer Plank, and one stepdaughter, Sharon Estep.
Ray is survived by one son, Terry Ray Plank of Beaufort, South Carolina; two daughters, Pam Yates of Okeechobee, Florida, and Dora Mae Caruso of Parma, Ohio; one sister, Dixie Blythe of Morehead, Kentucky; two brothers, Warren Plank of Morehead, Kentucky, and J. D. Plank of Kirklin, Indiana; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Eddie Ray Thomas, Jr.
1964-2010
MOREHEAD – Eddie Ray Thomas, Jr., age 45, of US 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed Thursday, January 21, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
Born March 11, 1964, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he is the son of Eddie Ray, Sr., and Patty J. Hall Thomas of Morehead, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna Jean Jones Thomas, whom he married
April 1, 1989, a daughter, Carly Rae Thomas at home, and a sister, Jackie Thomas Fields of Lexington, Kentucky.
Eddie was manager of Eddie’s Service Center. He was a 1984 graduate of Rowan County High School and member of the Johnson First Church of God.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ben Furman and Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John P. Northcutt, Ronnie Day, Tom Galbreath, David Zimmerman, Dale Davis, Mike Fields, and Allen Ravenscraft.

Betty C. Ellington Warren
1932-2010
MOREHEAD – Betty C. Ellington Warren, age 77, of Sturbridge Lane, Winchester, Kentucky, formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born February 24, 1932, in Fleming County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ed and Mae Denton Ellington.
Her husband, Arnold Elwood Warren, preceded her in death on September 20, 1990.
Betty is survived by one son, Jeff Warren of Lexington, Kentucky; one daughter, Debbie Bigelow of Winchester, Kentucky; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one step great-granddaughter.
She was the owner of Betty’s Personal Care in Morehead, Kentucky, for 30 years.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Starcher and the Rev. Tom Redmon officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery.
