ELEANORA H. TYLER
ELKTON, Ky. -- Services for Eleanora Hammond Tyler, 94, Grand Forks, N.D., formerly of Elkton, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Latham Funeral Home with Dr. Mack Craig officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight.
She died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, following a brief illness.
A native of Louisville, she was born April 10, 1907, the daughter of the late Richard Hollis and Nannie Duffy Hammond. She taught high school English from 1959 until 1973 at Peabody Demonstration School, Nashville, Tenn. She was a charter member of the First Christian Church, Nashville. Her husband, John Duke Tyler, died in 1979.
Survivors include a son, John Tyler, Grand Forks; a grandson and one great-granddaughter.
NANCY E. RIMES
Nancy Elizabeth Rimes, 82, Gary Lane, died at 8:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at her home following a long illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Dr. Rodney Travis officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Feb. 22, 1919. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Tampa, Fla. Her husband, Jasper T. Rimes, died in 1970.
Survivors include a son, Bobby D. Rimes, the home; two daughters, Nancy S. Hunsucker, Lilesville, N.C., Dorothy Bauer, Hopkinsville; a brother, Boyce Williams, Trigg County; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
ROSEMARY G. HAMBLIN
Rosemary Groves Hamblin, 79, Hopkinsville, died at a hospital in Lexington Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, of natural causes.
Arrangements are incomplete at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville.
JOHN H. GREEN
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- John Hayes Green, 68, Woodlawn, Tenn., died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., of natural causes.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home with Tom Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Flat Lick Cemetery, Christian County, Ky. Visitation will be until 8:00 tonight and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time for the service.
A native of Christian County, he was born Oct. 5, 1933, the son of the late Walter and Bessie Herndon Green. He was a salesman, an Army veteran and a member of the New Providence Church of Christ. A son, James Keith Green, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Gibbs Green; a son, John W. Green, Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Anita Brewer, Clarksville; two stepdaughters, Sharon Boyd, Henry, Tenn., Sheila Haines, Woodlawn and a sister, Mary Ezell, Indianapolis, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
GEORGE R. ARTHUR
WEIR, Kan. -- George R. Arthur, 61, Weir, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, at the University of Kansas Medical Center of natural causes.
Services were Monday in Weir with Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He had worked from 1975 until 1989 as a barber in Hopkinsville before moving to Kansas.
A native of Davis County, Ind., he was born Feb. 5, 1940, the son of the late Harry D. and Lulu Ray Arthur. He worked at P&M; Coal Co. and was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Scammon, Kan. Two daughters, Debra Sue Arthur and Angela Faye Arthur, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Regina Carie; a son, George L. Arthur, Mulberry; a daughter, Regina L. Miller, Lakeland, Fla.; two adopted children GiAnna L. and Michael Jon Arthur, both of the home; four brothers, Arley, Frank, John and Ronald Arthur, all of Indiana; three sisters, Viola Shepard, Juanita Carie and Nellie Bogard, all of Indiana and four grandchildren.

Patricia Ann Gibbs, 53, Sheena Court, died at 9:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at her home following an illness.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Ministries, North Elm Street, with the Revs. Gene Johnson and Johnny Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the church. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Huntsville, Ala., she was born Sept. 8, 1948. She was the daughter of the late John Archie and Callie Parton Guinn and was a homemaker and a member of Grace Ministries.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy "Tinker" Gibbs, Larry Gibbs and Johnny Gibbs, all of Hopkinsville; a brother, Paul Guinn, Hammond, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Pennyroyal Hospice.

CADIZ, Ky. -- John Loyd Allen, 67, Cadiz, died of natural causes at 12:27 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

ELKTON, Ky. -- Bernice Lee Cole, 79, Elkton, died of natural causes at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Redbanks Nursing Home, Henderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Latham Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.R. Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight and from 9 a.m. until the services Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Todd County, she was born Aug. 25, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Francis Hightower and was retired from Western State Hospital, Hopkinsville, where she worked for 22 years.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley Littlepage, Henderson.
