PRINCETON, Ky. -- Services for Gwendolyn "Dola" Tosh, 72, Fredonia, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan's Funeral Home with Mike Franklin and the Rev. J.D. Graham officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell County. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight.
She died at 12:15 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2003, at the Crittenden County Hospital, Marion, following a brief illness.
A native of Caldwell County, she was born May 18, 1930, the daughter of the late John Elliott "Goody" and Myrtle Irene Hardrick Towery. She was a retired boarder at the Princeton Hosiery Mill and was a member of the Creswell Baptist Church, Caldwell County. Her husband, Marshall Tosh, died in 1985.
Survivors include a son, Phil Tosh, Princeton; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Sharon Faye) Board, Fredonia; four brothers, Jake Towery, Princeton, Glover Towery, Jacksonville, Fla., Huey and Eddie Towery, both of Caldwell County; three sisters, Ann Massey and Leoma Wiggington, both of Fredonia, Rudell Watson, Princeton, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

GREENVILLE, Ky. -- Brack Lee Sweeney, 73, Clifty, died at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at the McCurdy Health Care Center, Evansville, Ind., following a brief illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gary's Funeral Home, Greenville, with Wanda Goodson officiating. Burial will be in Joines Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
A native of Todd County, he was born July 29, 1929, the son of the late William Andrew and Ora Ethel Mayes Sweeney. He was retired from City Auto Salvage, Hopkinsville. His wife, Mary Elizabeth Ewing Sweeney, died in 1997. A son, Jerry Lee Sweeney, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Lee and James Allen Sweeney, both of Evansville, Donald Owen Sweeney, Baskett; two daughters, Veda Mae Ball, Evansville, Sandra Lee Dawson, Hopkinsville; three brothers, Robert Sweeney, Clarksville, Tenn., Ferry Sweeney, Louisville, Andrew Sweeney, Brier, Wash.; four sisters, Velura McIntosh, Fort Worth, Texas, Ivy Sheppard, Benning, Calif., Mae Turner, Clarksville, Wanda Goodson, Salem, Ala., 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Herman Bradford Sparkman, 54, Madisonville Road, died at 3:00 this morning, Feb. 3, 2003, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton with Jerry Crunk officiating. Burial will be in the Concord General Baptist Church Cemetery, Hopkins County. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
A native of Christian County, he was born Aug. 28, 1948, the son of Phoebe Talley Sparkman, Hopkinsville, and the late James L. Sparkman. He was co-owner of Christian County Door and Glass and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Anna Russ Sparkman; three brothers, Clarence Sparkmen, Antioch, Tenn., Charles Sparkman, Hopkinsville, Ray Sparkman, Grand Junction, Colo., and two sisters, Dorothy Matheson, Dayton, Ohio and Beverly Hunborg, Hampshire, Ill.

IMOGENE SHOLAR
CADIZ, Ky. -- Imogene Sholar, 76, Cadiz, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Services were scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Snyder officiating. Burial was to be in Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian County.
A native of Christian County, she was born Oct. 15, 1926, the daughter of Clifton Sholar, Cadiz, and the late Lonnie Mae Sowell Sholar. She was a former nurse's aide at Trigg County Hospital and had also worked as a sales clerk at the Cadiz 5 & 10. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, survivors include two brothers, Belmont Sholar, Hopkinsville, and T.P. Sholar, Cadiz.

PRINCETON, Ky. -- Idell Prowell, 75, Caldwell County, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at her home following a long illness.
Services were this morning at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Revs. Dean Ray and Ken Cummins officiating. Burial was in Rowland Cemetery in Caldwell County.
A native of Caldwell County, she was born May 20, 1927, the daughter of the late John Elliott "Goody" and Myrtle Irene Hardrick Tower. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Her husband, Clifford R. "Pedro" Prowell, died in 1999. A son, Barry Prowell, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Otis (Brenda) McCormick, Mrs. Nubin (Sissy) Durard and Mrs. Mike (Lori) Cruce, all of Caldwell County; four brothers, Jake Towery, Princeton, Huey and Eddie Towery, both of Caldwell County, Glover Towery, Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Ann Massey, Leoma Wigginton, Dola Tosh, all of Fredonia, Rudell Watson, Princeton, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A native of Todd County, she was born Feb. 6, 1912, the daughter of the late Raymond and Litha Elizabeth Hankins Greenfield. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Her husband, Norman M. Phillips, died in 1987. A son, Harold Phillips, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Phillips, Hopkinsville, the Rev. Doug Phillips, Bowling Green; two brothers, Ira Greenfield, Hopkinsville, Earl Greenfield, Elkton; two sisters, Mallye Davis, Hopkinsville, Mable Dawson, Elkton, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
