LEWIS A. YODER
ELKTON -- Lewis A. Yoder, 74, Guthrie, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004, at his home following a long illness.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the North District Amish Church with Daniel Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the North District Amish Cemetery. Visitation will be at the home Tuesday until time for the service.
Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Grantsville, Md., he was born July 3, 1930, the son of the late Albert U. and Sadie Kinsinger Yoder. He was a farmer and a member of the North District Amish Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Yoder; five sons, Albert Yoder, Stanwood, Mich., Allen Yoder, Guthrie, Raymond Yoder, Cynthiana, Ivan and David Yoder, both of Guthrie; three daughters, Sadie and Elsie Yoder, both of Guthrie, Susanna Coblintz, Harrodsburg, 42 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

HOPKINSVILLE -- Gloria Wharton, 49, Colonette Drive, died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

GAIL PUCKETT
HOPKINSVILLE -- Gail Puckett, 64, Ginger Drive, died at 7:35 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004, at her home following a brief illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. John M. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, will be from 4 until 8 tonight with a rosary to be said at 7 p.m.
A native of Coventry, R.I., she was born May 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Theodore Dusza and Madeline Main Dusza Linder. She had worked at Thomas Industries and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Puckett; two sons, James L. and Charles A. Puckett Jr., both of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Carol Ann Kranz, Hopkinsville; two sisters, Susan Cormier, Voluntown, Conn., Kathleen Lemery, Hope, R.I., and 10 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

PRINCETON -- Ora Mae Murphy, 95, Princeton, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Princeton Health Care Manor of natural causes.

HOPKINSVILLE -- Pauline Minton, 75, Hopkinsville, died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

ROMA L. HUNT
HOPKINSVILLE -- Roma Lee Groves Hunt, 79, Means Avenue, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Pinecrest Manor following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Pendley officiating. There will be no visitation. Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Muhlenberg County, she was born April 25, 1925, the daughter of the late Willie Breck and Bessie Rose Groves. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Carl W. Hunt, died in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie and Carl Wilburn Hunt, Hopkinsville; four brothers, Willie Clyde and Landis Groves, both of Hopkinsville, Stanley Groves, Booneville, Miss., David Groves, Lexington; two sisters, Barbara Stewart, Gracey, Grace Nell Humphries, Hopkinsville, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

LEWIS B. GRAY
HOPKINSVILLE -- Lewis Boyd Gray, 74, Sanderson Drive, died at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Pembroke Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Revs. Dan Ferguson and Bud Collins officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 9 tonight.
A native of Caldwell County, he was born May 11, 1930, the son of the late Lewis and Gertie Oliver Gray. He was retired from Thomas Industries where he had been an assembly supervisor for 30 years. He was a Korean War Army veteran and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Windle Gray; two sons, Lewis B. Gray Jr., Crofton, Kenneth Wayne Gray, Hopkinsville; two brothers, Richard Gray, Princeton, J.E. Gray, Murfreesboro, Tenn., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
MARY S. DIAZ
HOPKINSVILLE -- Mary Sue Diaz, 64, Villa Court, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2004, at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., of natural causes.

LOUISE E. POLLOCK
HOPKINSVILLE -- Services for Louise E. Pollock, 95, Winchester Drive, will be at noon Thursday at Van Natta Funeral Home, Herrin, Ill., with the Rev. Lee Lovett officiating.
Burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until time for the service. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
A native of Rockwood, Tenn., she was born Nov. 11, 1908, the daughter of the late Louis and Dorthea Tauscher Doughty. She had been a clothing store cashier and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Herrin.
Her husband, Irving Pollock, died in 1981.
Survivors include a son, William "Bill" Pollock, Hopkinsville, two grandsons and four granddaughters.

ARLO HURT
ELKTON -- Services for Arlo Hurt, 63, Elkton, will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Latham Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Tracy officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight and from 9 a.m. Thursday until time for the service.
He died at his farm Monday, March 29, 2004, of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A native of Todd County, he was born June 30, 1940, the son of the late Dellis Key and Katherine Hurt. He was a farmer and standard bred horse breeder and a member of the Kentucky Harness Horseman Association.
He was a member of the Elkton Baptist Church.
A son, Kim Anthony Hurt, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Terra Nunnley Hurt; three sons, Mark and Scott Hurt, both of Elkton, Keegan Todd Hurt, Hopkinsville; a sister, Marlene Herrell, Elkton, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

HOPKINSVILLE -- James Alfred Bender, 49, a resident of 12th Street, died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
