Robert Franklin Jent
1920-2006

MOREHEAD - Robert Franklin Jent, age 86, of State Route 73, Springboro, Ohio, formerly of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Kettering Medical Center in Miamisburg, Ohio. He was born July 1, 1920, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Harvey and Myrtle Mageline Lewis Jent. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Roy Vencil Jent, Charlie Edward Jent, Harvey L, Jent, Jr. and Willard Monroe Jent, and one sister: Gertrude Riddle.

Mr. Jent is survived by two sons: Jim Jent of Springboro, Ohio, and Howard Jent of Waynesville, Ohio; one daughter, Marlene Jent of Trenton, Ohio; three brothers: Ervin Jent and Delmer Jent, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and Allie Vernon Jent of New Carlisle, Ohio; three sisters, Olive Taylor and Anne Frances Anderson, both of Muncie, Indiana, and Elizabeth Cooper of Lewisville, Indiana; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He retired after thirty years of service from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Oscar Riley officiating; burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Jent, Howard Jent, Delmer Jent, Jimmy Cooper, Wayne Jent, and Reece Hamilton. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Jean Marie Elliott Wyatt
1937-2006

MOREHEAD - Jean Marie Elliott Wyatt, age 69, of Clearfork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, formerly of New Castle, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006, at her residence. Born May 22, 1937, in Eureka, California, she was the daughter of the late John Walter Elliott and Elna Pearl Torkelson Elliott.

Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her husband, Warren Kenneth Wyatt; three sons: Jon Randall (Randy) Wyatt and his wife Chris of Milton, Florida, Mark Alan Wyatt of Morehead, Kentucky, Walter Scott Wyatt and his wife Susan of Milton, Florida; one daughter: Pamela Knipp and her husband Kerry of Indianapolis, Indiana; and six grandchildren: Michael, Erin, Jessica, Tim, Jason, and Samantha.

Mrs. Wyatt was a homemaker and had been employed as a dental assistant when the family lived in California and Indiana. After moving to Morehead, she became involved in community activities. Mrs. Wyatt was President of the Busy Bee Quilt Club and a member of the Sharkey Homemakers.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elder Cephas Littleton officiating; burial was in the Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jon Randall Wyatt, Mark Alan Wyatt, Walter Scott Wyatt, Michael Wyatt, Jason Wyatt, and Tim Wyatt. Visitation was Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Margie Mae Lowe McCoy
Age: 90
Visitation: Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6 p.m. Thursday with evening services at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at th J.W. Cal Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Young and others officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery at McCombs, Kentucky.

Margie Mae Lowe McCoy age 90 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Signature Healthcare Center.

She was a Homemaker.

Margie was born at Thomas, Kentucky in Pike County on February 14, 1925 the daughter of the late Adron Brownie Lowe and Amma See Thompson Lowe.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton McCoy and one son, Thomas Jefferson "T.J." McCoy. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Hanners and Margaret Bond.

She is survived by one brother, Rutherford Lowe of Onstead, Michigan.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Wilbur T. "Will" Lindsey, Sr.
Age: 78
Visitation: Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Funeral Service:
Interment: Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Highland Cemetery in Huntington, West Virginia.

Wilbur T. "Will" Lindsey, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home in Pikeville.

Will is survived by his wife, Karen, and his children Robert (Kimberley) Lindsey, Wilbur T. "Will" Lindsey, II, and Dr. Kari (Darren) Lindsey Messer.

Will was predeceased by his daughters Gina Lindsey Leopold and Paget Lindsey McCoy and also a grandson, Kevin McCoy.

Will is also survived by seven grandchildren: Weston Lindsey, Rebekah Lindsey, Baylee Leopold, Niki Leopold, Lindsey McCoy, Brody Messer and Brooks Messer.

Will was born on October 29, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Willard "Cap" Lindsey and Nora Lindsey. Will was predeceased by his brother Willard Lindsey and his sisters Jean Munro and Joan Tate.

He was a graduate of Millersburg Military Institute and he attended Georgetown College. Will was an accomplished and successful businessman in both the restaurant and natural gas industries in Kentucky and West Virginia.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 8 after 6 p.m. at the J.W. Call Funeral Home in Pikeville. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9 at 1 p.m.at Highland Cemetery in Huntington, West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Pike Co. Humane Society, P.O. Box 2245, Pikeville, KY 41502.

Nelson Ratliff
Age: 78
Visitation: Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 5 p.m. Thursday with evening services at 7 p.m.
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Patton, Tommy England, Don Lee and Melvin Thompson officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, Kentucky.

Nelson Ratliff age 78 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at his home.

He was a retired Pepsi Cola Vending Manager for East Kentucky Beverage.

Nelson was born in Pike County, Kentucky on November 9, 1936 the son of the late Silas and Sarah Ellen Lee Ratliff.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mattie Lee Tibbs Ratliff on December 11, 1997.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Justice Fields Ratliff who he married on May 5, 2001.

He is also survived by four sons, Kenneth N. (Beverly) Ratliff of Pikeville, Richard C. Ratliff of Pikeville, Joel L. Ratliff of Winchester and Michael D. (Stacy) Ratliff of Pikeville and one daughter, Debra Stevens (Elden) of Pikeville and two step-daughters, Diane Thacker (James) of Berea and Tommi Ratliff (Robert) of Pikeville and by one sister, Lori Elizabeth Gibson (Arnold) of Pikeville.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Alyssa Stevens, Tara Ratliff, Roman Ratliff, Tyler Ratliff, Ethan Ratliff, Carson Ratliff and Mattie Ratliff and two step-grandchildren, Tanya Copher and Ashley Lester and two great-grandchildren, Maddilyn Collier and Gage Stevens and two step-great-grandchildren, Colton Lester and Caroline Copher.

Serving as Pallbearers will be, Michael Ratliff, Kenneth Ratliff, Joel Ratliff, Roman Ratliff, Ethan Ratliff, Tyler Ratliff and Carson Ratliff.

Ryan Leslie Childers
Age: 34

Ryan Leslie Childers, age 34 of Tampa, Florida formerly of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Tampa.

He was a landscaper and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Ryan was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on May 14, 1981 the son of James and Linda Whitaker Childers.

He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Childers of Tampa, Florida and one brother, James Ross Childers and his wife, Kristen of Tampa.

He is also survived by a nephew, Lincoln James Childers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church, 5469 North Mayo Trail, Pikeville, Ky. 41501.

Bobby B. Childers
Age: 81
Visitation: Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6 p.m. Thursday, with Eastern Star services at 7p.m. and Masonic services Friday at 7 p.m.
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be 12 noon, July 23, 2011 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Bartley officiating.
Interment: Entombment will follow in the Thacker Mausoleum at Annie E. Young Cemetery.

Bobby B. Childers, age 81 of Marrowbone, graduated to Glory, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at his home.

He was tipple foreman for Ratliff-Elkhorn Coal Co. He was a member of the Thomas C. Cecil Lodge #375 F & AM, Pikeville Chapter, Council and Commandery a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a founding member of the Lookout Fire Department.

He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on September 17, 1929 the son of the late Alvin Childers, Sr. and Ethel Coleman Childers.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin Childers, Jr., Forrest Childers and Joe E. Childers.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bartley Childers and one son, Danny (Paula) Childers of Wolfpit and one daughter, Donna (Lumpy) Newsome of Millard, Ky.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Heather and Scott Claycomb, Josh and Shera Anderson and Alisha and Brent Wagner and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson and Sarah Anderson.

Serving as Active Pallbearers will be, Josh Anderson, Lumpy Newsome, Scott Claycomb, Brent Wagner, Ray Gene Bartley, Gary Blake Owens, Rickey Fields, Eddie Thacker and Ramsey Chaney.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Coleman, Jerry Coleman, Palmer Ratliff, Loyall Coleman, Pauline Childers, Duran Clevinger, Bud Kendrick, David Childers, Finis Compton, Clyde Cure, James Bickford, Kenneth Robinson, Mark Neal, Neal Young, Masons and The Order of the Eastern Star.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in his memory to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 101 Hibbard St., Pikeville, Ky. 41501 or Thomas C. Cecil Lodge #375 Masonic Elevator Fund, P.O. Box 362, Pikeville, Ky. 41502.
