Manson Campbell
EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Manson C. Campbell, 89, of Evansville, died Thursday at his home.
Born March 11, 1911, he was a son of the late James B. and Eva Parks Campbell. He was a farmer and a former employee of Evansville Union Stockyards. He was retired from the Producer Livestock Commission and was a school bus driver. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Evansville.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Lankford Campbell; a daughter, Ginny Baker of Danville; two sons, Jim Campbell and Manson "Bud" Campbell Jr., both of Evansville; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Campbell.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Browning Funeral Home by Bill Caple. Burial is in Centenary Cemetery.

Mary Husk
FORTVILLE, Ind. -- Mary K. Husk, 51, of Ingalls, Ind., died Friday at the Richard L. Roudebusch Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born April 8, 1949, in Danville, she was a daughter of Katherine Roller Shirrell Cram and the late Chester Shirrell. She was a U.S. Army reservist for 18 years and served as the the U.S. Administrator for the Army Reserve at the old Fort Benjamin Harrison Hospital in Indianapolis. She was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Fortville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6904.
Survivors include her husband, Dale R. Husk; a step-father, Jack Cram; a son, Nathan P. Husk of Ingalls; three daughters, Deanna Shirrell of Indianapolis, Julia Redfield of Anderson, Ind., and Kari Gwen of Indianapolis; two step daughters, Debra Bartlett of Las Vegas and Diane Husk of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Chester Shirrell Jr. of Mitchellsburg and Terry Shirrell of Indianapolis; a sister, Carole Negri of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Ronald L. Seals Funeral Home. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday in Parksville Cemetery with graveside military rites.

James Erwin
Services for James Erwin, 81, of Monticello, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Gregory Ryan. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
He died Thursday at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1918, in Springhill, Tenn., he was a son of the late Jesse and Cindy Brown Erwin. He was a retired steel worker for U.S. Steel in Michigan, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Rayetta Popplewell Erwin; three daughters, Pat Fenningsdorf and Carol Worley, both of Romulus, Mich., and Debbie Anderson of Junction City; four sons, Bob Erwin of Michigan, Lee Anderson of Owensboro, Ray Boone of Moreland and Calvin Boone of Stanford; a brother, Arthur Erwin of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James, David and Scott Anderson, Ray Boone, Merl Baldwin and Bobby Popplewell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Logan, Jimmy, Roger and Lee Anderson, Calvin Boone and Joe Williams.
Visitation is 5-9 today.

James R. Sallee
Graveside services for James Robert "Jim Bob" Sallee, 60, of North Third Street, formerly of Louisville, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Prabell.
He died Thursday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born May 9, 1939, in Danville, he was a son of the late Clarence Andrew and Frances Louise Connelly Sallee. He was a former employee of Danville Wholesale Grocery Company and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Sally Wood of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; a brother, Joe Sallee of Danville; two nephews and three nieces.

Geneva Y. Tyler

Born March 12, 1921, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Marcus D. and Mary Althae Bradley Young. She and her husband were the former owners of Tyler's Florist and Greenhouse in Junction City. She was a member of Junction City United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Tyler of Junction City; two sons, Michael L. Tyler of Springfield and Morris L. "Rudy" Tyler of Junction City; a brother, Morrison C. Young of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Greene, Clyde Greene, Freddie Dale Greene, Sonny Greene, Billy Young and Tony Young.

He died Thursday at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation, Stanford. He was the husband of Illa Mullins Carey.
Born Sept. 24, 1917, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Oliver and Ora Maxey Carey. He was a disabled World War II veteran and attended Hustonville Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Carey Hasty of Elizabethtown; two half sisters, Hyson Shearer of Louisville and Pauline Maddox of Nicholasville; and two grandchildren.

WEST LIBERTY -- Oshie Lee Cox George, 89, of West Liberty died Thursday at Morgan County Regional Hospital after a long illness.
Born Oct. 25, 1910, in Morgan County, she was a daughter of the late John and Katie Fannin Cox and the widow of James R. George.
Survivors include a daughter, Fern Armstrong of Danville; brothers, and sisters, Clina Wallin, Arnold Cox, Rissie George, Russell Cox, Sallie Roseberry, Lou Keaton, Henry Cox, Ora Cox, Buel Cox and Reva Ellis; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Golden George.
