The going is not so bad
It’s the saying goodbye
To those that don’t understand
The reason why.
It’s just a fact of what we are
Just like a flower or a star
We decorate for awhile
Maybe bring a smile
Say a word or two
Do what we can do.
What makes a good life
Is knowing when to go.
