Bernis Blackburn, 68, of Sidney, Ky. went to be with the Lord Saturday February 27, 2010 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville, Ky. He was born October 8, 1941 in Pike County, KY, to the late Homer and Agnes Crigger Blackburn. He is also preceded in death by his sister-in-law; June Blackburn and nephew; Jerry Lee Blackburn. He was a retired security guard.
He is survived by three brothers; Randy (Norma) Blackburn of Sidney, KY, Ronnie Blackburn of Pikeville, KY, and William Earl Blackburn of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday March 2, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Donnie Williamson and Roger Mullins officiating. In loving memory of Roberta McCoy, 69, of Turkey Creek, Ky. who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born September 8, 1940 in Pike County, Ky. the daughter of the late James Cleston and Gredis Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie McCoy Sr., a great grandson, Douglas Chandler Cassell, three brothers, Jay, Curtis and William "Dover" Robinson and one sister, Okie Mae Clark.
Roberta was a retired cook for the Pike County Board of Education at Turkey Creek Elementary School and a member of the McVeigh United Baptist Church.

Romaine C. Conley, 82 of Pigeon Forge, Tn. formerly of Williamson, WV passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 at her residence.
She was born November 22, 1927 the daughter of the late Bascom and Vada Castle Copley of Crum, WV. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Conley, owner of Conley Plumbing and Heating Company of Williamson, WV and sister, Estelle Harris and brother, Troy Copley . She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Williamson, WV.

Magaline "Maggie" Hill, 76, of Pageland, S.C. passed away Friday March 26, 2010 at her residence in Pageland, S.C. She was born September 14, 1933 at Ransom, Ky to the late Roland and Grace (Isom) Phillips. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Hill Jr.; Several brothers and sisters.
She was a retired Restaurant Manager and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Pageland, South Carolina

John Michael Hurley, 27 of Pikeville, Ky. died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at his residence.
He was born October 4, 1982 in Pikeville, Ky. the son of Melvin (Debra) Hurley of Hatfield, Ky. and Carolyn Mayo Hurley of Pikeville, Ky.
He was a disabled coal miner.
Other survivors include his wife, Samantha Mattie Robinette Hurley of Pikeville, Ky.; children, Shyla Nicole Robinette, Kyla Brooke Robinette and John Landon Hurley all of the Home and his grandmother, JoAnn Mayo of Warfield, Ky. and a host of family and friends.

Pearl Alene Smith, 79 of Hardy, Ky. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, Ky. after a lingering illness.
Pearl was born August 13, 1930 at Hardy, Ky. the daughter of the late Hi and Bernie Thacker Stollings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dona Smith and brother, Frennie Stollings.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Narrows Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.

Emma Jean Blackburn, 76 of Hardy, Ky. passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at her home.
She was born April 5, 1933 at Hardy, Ky. the daughter of the late John W. and Emma Falloway Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cap Pinion, second husband, William (Bobby) Blackburn, one son, Vincent Shay Pinion and four brothers and two sisters.
Emma was a homemaker and a Christian for over 45 years of her life.

She was born August 17, 1938 at Glen Alum, W.V. the daughter of the late Cecil Raymond and Maudie Katherine Kennedy Faries. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Lowell Cecil and Harold Edward Faries.
Doris was a retired sales person for K-Mart Department Store and had attended the Christian Assembly of God Church, Turkey Creek, Ky.
Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Kaye Ryan of Chattaroy, WV; one sister, Carol Sue Faries of Chattaroy, WV; four brothers, Teddy William Faries of Michigan, Henry Raymond Faries of Chicago, Il., Gary Dale Faries of Delbarton, WV and Donald Victor Faries of Dan's Branch, WV; and two grandchildren, Sara Beth Ryan and Emily Grace Ryan.

She was born August 31, 1924 in Pike County, Ky. the daughter of the late Rush and Lennie Smith Reed. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Walter, Lafayette, Benton, Alfred, Charlie and William (Jeff) Reed; three sisters, June Baker, Hester Hunt and Mary Jane Reynolds and one grandson, Teddy Clifton Robinette.
Jemima was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Cecal Hunt, 77 of Pikeville, Ky. passed away Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born January 6, 1933 at Pikeville, Ky. to the late Charlie and Exie Adkins Hunt.
He is also preceded in death by his son; Henry Hurl Hunt, brothers; Chester Hunt, Billy James Hunt, Harrell Kimble Hunt, Donnie Ray Hunt and Charlie Hunt Jr., sisters; Ruby Hunt and Pauline Hunt and his step-mother; Margie Stiltner Hunt. He was a retired coal miner, a member of the U.M.W.A. and a member of the Belfry Freewill Baptist Church.

Caines, step-son; Elmer Smith and grandson; Earnest Smith Jr. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God Faith.
