LIBERTY -- Sandy R. Tucker, 50, of Casey Estates, Liberty died Wednesday at her home.
Born June 18, 1949, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of Garland and Louvenia Spaw Rigney of Liberty. She was a retired schoolteacher of Casey County High School and a member of Athens Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Shane Tucker of Richmond; a brother, Ron Rigney of Winchester; a sister, Cathy Rigney of Winchester; and several other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Thad Eubank. Burial will be in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenny and Kevin Spaw, Matt Willoughby, Arnold Meek, Chubby Baird and John Sugars.
Honorary pallbearers are the students and faculty of Casey County High School.

Anna R. Sims
WAYNESBURG -- Services for Anna Rigney Sims, 85, of North Ky. 837, Kings Mountain, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by the Rev. J.R. Phillippe Jr. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at her residence.
Born Dec. 1, 1914, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late George Marion and Mary Falconbury Rigney. She was a homemaker and member of Walltown Christian Church. She was the widow of John T. Sims.
Survivors include three sons, Hubert Sims of Walltown, and Hollis Sims and Lloyd Sims of Louisville; one daughter, Linda Patterson of Walltown; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Lena Phillippe.
Pallbearers will be John Haddix, Garland Phillippe, and Steven, Ray, Danny Sims, Anthony Sims.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Loraine Sowder
LANCASTER -- Services for Loraine Sowder, 74, of Highland Avenue, Kirksville, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ramsey Funeral home by the Revs. Karen Pennington and Brian Malcom. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Madison Manor nursing home in Richmond.
Born March 31, 1925, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Calvin and Dora Morgan Sowder. He was a retired employee of the former National Casket Co. in Lancaster. He was a member of Paint Lick United Methodist Church, the Paint Lick Sportsman's Club and was a World War Army veteran. He was the widower of Jane Maxine Ray Sowder.
Survivors include a son, Timothy Wayne Sowder of Richmond; a daughter, Mary June Applegate of Kirksville; a brother, Sam Sowder of Kirksville; three sisters, Garnett Hamm of Dayton, Ohio, and Allie Sowder and Dallie Meadows of Paint Lick; and two grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be members of Paint Lick United Methodist Church including Bill and Henry West, Bill Bowling Jr., Tommy Clouse, Roger Hatfield and Steve Ball. Honorary pallbearers are members of Paint Lick Sportsman's Club.

Born March 27, 1931, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace Grisby. She was a retired licensed practical nurse at Friendship House and the widow of John Daniel White Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the National Nursing Association.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer W. Johnson of Lancaster; two sons, Joel B. White of Burgin and John D. White of Falmouth; four brothers, Bill and Bob Grisby of Harrodsburg, Buddy Grisby of Branburg, S.C,. and David Grisby of Naylor, Md.; three sisters, Grace Lyston of Danville, Dottie Vaught of Salvisa and Glenn Ellen Fredrick of Flemingsburg; and six grandchildren.
