Stella Coffey
LANCASTER -- Stella Coffey, 79, of Totten Avenue, Lancaster, died today at Charleston Health Care in Danville.
Born March 7, 1921 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Callie Estes Tudor.
She was a retired nurse's aide for Kentucky State Hospital and Oakwood in Somerset. She was a member of Preachersville United Meth-odist Church and the widow of Oscar Coffey.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary A. Hurley of Danville, and Charlotte Browning and Loretta Hume, both of Lancaster; two brothers, Buford Tudor and Roy Tudor, both of Garrard County; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wed-nesday at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mattie W. McCowan
MORELAND -- Mattie Lou Wright McCowan, 94, of Junction City died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 18, 1905, in Lincoln Cou-nty, she was a daughter of Sellers and Nannie Lou Gilliland Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Bowen United Meth-odist Church.
She was the widow of Ike Thomas McCowan.
Survivors are a daughter, Elizabeth "Lib" Privett of Junction City; three sons, Jesse McCowan and Ike Thomas McCowan Jr., both of Junction City, and Joe McCowan of Stanford; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and several step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, the Rev. Edward McCowan and Thomas McCowan.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Yocum. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Ellis, Jackie Campbell, and Jeff, Anthony, Josh, Billy, Jeremy and Jason McCowan.
Honorary pallbearers are Travis Campbell, Jordan McAninch, Dustin Privett and Bradley, Branden and Daniel McCowan.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Agnes Lee
LIBERTY -- Agnes Lee, 75, of Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Liberty, died Saturday at Regency Place Nursing Home in Greenwood.
Born Dec. 31, 1924, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Wethington. She was a retired Union Underwear employee and the widow of Delmer "Buck" Lee.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Lee of Indianapolis, Joseph G. Lee of Mooresville, Ind., and Danny Lee of Greenwood, Ind.; two brothers, Lester Wethington of Lexington and George Wethington of Ark-ansas; three sisters, Annie Curtis of Lexington, Mary Goode of Illinois, and Sharon Wethington of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Goode; and three sons, Ernest Lee, Barry Lee and Jim Lee.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Clifford DeHart. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Joseph L. Key
CINCINNATI -- Services for Joseph Leon Key, 63, of Elm Street, Crab Orchard, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cincinnati.
He died Wednesday at in Cincinnati.
Born July, 27, 1936, in Washington County, he was the son of the late James H. and Janice Key. He was a farmer and a Catholic.
Survivors include four daughters, Arlene Key, Patricia Roberts, Margaret Key and Burletta Tolliver, all of Cincinnati; five brothers, James Key and William Earl Key, both of Danville, Robert L. Key of Lexington, Henry A. Key of Louisville and John H. Key of Olathe, Kan.; a sister, Martha Masterson of Stanford; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cincinnati.

Graveside services for Luther G. Milton, 75, of Fayetteville, N.C., will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bellview Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Payton.
He died Wednesday in Fort Bragg, N.C.
Born June 24, 1924, in Glen Milton, Va., he was the son of the late Luther Graham and Daisy P. Milton.
He was a retired master sergeant in the Air Force and a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include four sons, Luther G. Milton Jr. of Durham, N.C., Patrick J. Milton of Denver, Curtis A. Milton of Tallahassee, Fla., and Frank W. Milton of Marrero, La.; two daughters, Sandra Holmes of Randleman, N.J., and Susan Bochler of Manashawkin, N.J.; three stepsons, Edwin Leathers of Georgia, Kenneth Leathers of Danville, and Charles Wells of San Antonio, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He died Saturday at the care center.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Mary Lou Williams Parker Johnson, 70, of Chestnut Street died Friday at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford.
Born Oct. 2, 1929, in Fondee, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Vertie Byrd Williams and the widow of Lee Ander Johnson. She was a general laborer for service-based businesses and a member of Crab Orchard Church of God.
Survivors include five daughters, Connie Rose Wyatt of Jacksonville, Fla., Inez Kay Sizemore of Corbin, Judie Lynn Martin of East Bernstadt, Beckie Jane Smith of London and Kathy Lee Vaughn of Crab Orchard; a son, James Edward Parker of London; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be noon Monday at Crab Orchard Church of God by Mark Hughes and Dan Carr. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Mershons.
Pallbearers will be Harold Denson, Paul Vaughn, Bobby Sizemore, Dillon Sizemore, Gary Martin, Jerry Martin, Tony Smith and Bobby Smith.

HARRODSBURG -- Klyta G. Sims, 97, of North College Street died Saturday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born June 12, 1902, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Hal C. and Nannie Chilton Gabhart and the widow of George C. Sims. She was a former agent for Kentucky Growers Insurance Co. and a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, where she was a member of the Christian Workers Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a number of cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. David Hartman. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today.
