Michael Lee Bowe Jr., 39 of Belfry, KY, passed away on July 16, 2012 at the Williamson ARH ER.
Michael was born on May 25, 1973, the son of Billie Sue Boyd
Bowe of Belfry, Ky. and Michael and Nina Bowe of Stone, Ky.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents,
Allen and Peggy Elkins Boyd and his paternal grandparents, Herbert
and Edna Smith Bowe; one uncle, Jerry Boyd and one cousin, Roger
Watson.
Michael was disabled and had battled diabetes along with several other medical conditions for many years.
Michael was a loving and caring son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed football, computers and spending time with his children. He will be greatly missed by all who knew
and loved him.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish the memory of Michael Lee and to mourn
his passing include his daughter, Chaeli Bowe of the home; his sons, Dalton Bowe of the home,
Sean (Pam) McManus of Dwale, Ky. and Nick (Alex) McManus of Lexington, Ky. and his
brother, Charles Michael Bowe of Stone, Ky.
Friends may gather with the family at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky. on
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6 PM till 9 PM.
Funeral services will also be held at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 1 PM with Bob Werntz officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory
Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Marie Ball, 94, of Belfry, KY went home to be with the Lord,
Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of the South Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Marie was born July 16, 1918 in Pike County, Ky. the daughter
of the late Tom Pecco, Sr. and Mariah (Goodmommy) Trout Pecco.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Ball, Sr.; one
son, Robert Ball; four sisters, Sarah Ann Pecco, Lois Stratton, Anna
DiBuono and Irene (Kitty) Salyers and two brothers, William Sam
Pecco and Buster Pecco.
She was a member of the Sharondale Church of Christ. She was a housewife, mother,
grandmother and a great grandmother. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending
time with them and especially loved to see Sunday come so she could spend the afternoon with
them. She enjoyed working out in her yard with her flowers and she had a green thumb when it
came to growing anything.
She is survived by four sons, Tom (Claudette) Ball, John (Linda) Ball Jr. and Jim (Carla)
Ball all of Belfry, Ky. and William Sam (Kay) Ball of Matewan, WV; three daughters, Beatrice
Ball, Lois Ann Ball and Peggy (Gary) Belford all of Belfry, Ky.; grandchildren, Robert Todd
(Cassie) Ball of SC, Alisa (J.R.) Thompson of Canada, Ky., Chris (Lisa) Ball of TN, Randy
(Mary Ann) Ball of Cecila, Ky., Brian (Jennifer) Ball of Chicago, IL, Tomi Ann Ball of Belfry,
Ky., John Robert (Bridgett) Ball of Belfry, Ky., Sam (Christina) Ball of TN., Eugenia (Josh)
Spears of Sidney, Ky., Caitlyne (Josh) Mahon of Williamson, WV and Lonetta (Jeremy) Moses

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel with Bob Werntz, Howard Robinette and Clinton Layne officiating. Burial will
follow in the Family Cemetery, Belfry, Ky. with Todd, Brian, Chris, Randy, John Robert and
Sam Ball, Jr., J. R. Thompson, Jeremy Moses and Josh Spears serving as pallbearers. Honorary
pallbearers are Ethan and Aadan Thompson, Tyler, Jackson and Andrew Ball.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel and Sunday, July 22, 2012 with special services Sunday at 7 PM.
Peggy Vaught, 74, of McAndrews, Kentucky formerly of Md. died
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital ER,
South Williamson, Kentucky.
Born March 9, 1938 at Washington, DC, she was the daughter of
the late Howard S. and Marguerite (Odum) Cash.
She was a manager/operator for AT&T/C&P Telephone Co. from
1956 to 1986. She was an avid reader, a devout Catholic and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Williamson, WV.
Peggy will be missed by everyone that she touched.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Christina Marie McDevitt of McAndrews, Kentucky
and Pamela Ann Vaught of McAndrews, Kentucky; one brother, Howard S. Cash of Princess
Anne, Md.; one sister, Theresa Haw of Largo, Fl.; two grandchildren, Samantha Ann Stephens
and William Albert McDevitt III; two great grandchildren, Kevin A. Ratcliff and Marissa Marie
Stephens; Best Friend, Vera Cleek of McAndrews, Kentucky; two God Children, Katie and Jamie Warner; host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Kelli Suzanne Neace, 37 of Forest Hills, Ky. passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her
residence.
She was born January 26, 1975 at South Williamson, Ky. the daughter of Judy Lee Hubbard Neace of Forest Hills, Ky. and the late James N. Neace.
Kelli was a former employee of the Pike County Courthouse and a member of the Slaters
Branch Church of Christ.
Other than her Mother, she is survived by three sisters, Sherri Leigh Hughes of Turkey
Creek, Ky., Christi Ann Ashley of Williamson, WV and Randi Renee Neace of Turkey Creek,
Ky.; a brother, James Ericson Neace of Forest Hills, Ky. and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 5 PM at the Turkey Creek
Freewill Baptist Church with Danny Swafford officiating.
Dorothy Mae Dixon, 80, of Ragland, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 28, 1931 at Lundale, WV to the late Oscar and Edna M. Maynard Evans. Also preceding her in death are;
her husband, William H. Dixon, and three brothers; Albert, Franklin
D. and Kenneth G. Evans.
Dorothy was a lifetime homemaker and beloved wife, mother
and sister. She was a former den mother for the Cub Scouts and volunteered at Chafin Grade School for many years. She was from a very large family with her
parents passing away at a very young age and Dorothy became like a Mother to her sibling. At
the Evans family reunions, she was considered the Matriarch of the family and she will be
greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
She is survived by her daughter; Connie S. (Donald) Shepherd of Gunlock, Ky, brothers;
William "Bill" Evans of Elgin, IL, Forrest Evans of North Wilkesboro, N.C., Don Evans of Lenore, WV, Curt Evans, Carpentesville, IL and Ronnie Evans of Folkston, GA, sisters; Fannie
Alshire of Racine, Ohio and Carol S. Evans of Ragland, WV and a host of loving family and
friends.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday night, July 26, 2012 at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday July 27, 2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home
with Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery in Waverly,

Ralph C. Bogar, age 87 of Sevierville, TN went to his eternal
home at 8:50 PM, Monday, July 23, 2012 with his family and a host
of friends at his bedside.
He was born in Sidney, KY July 31, 1924. He was a graduate
of Belfry High School, a World War II veteran, an avid UK Wildcat
fan, and a commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 1978. He retired
from the Postal Service in April, 1982, serving 28 years as postmaster
in Sidney, KY. He met and married
his wife, Yvonne R. Bogar of
Sidney, KY, now living in Sevierville, TN and blessed to spend 62
years of marriage as of July 14, 2012. Ralph and his wife were coowners of Bogar’s Market in Sidney, KY for 19 years. They sold the
store and Ralph later retired and enjoyed the mountains in TN. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and wagon trains. Then after two episodes of cancer and it
winning the last battle, God called him home.
While living in KY, Ralph came to know his Lord and remained faithful to the end. He
and his wife were charter members of Sidney Missionary Baptist Church, later a member of
Bells of Joy United Baptist Church, and taking membership with Bethany Baptist Church after
moving to TN. He was ordained a deacon in 1972 and remained active in all three churches as
long as his health permitted.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents W.C. and Dixie Smith Bogar; sister Lois Ann
(Bogar) Compton; infant brother Joseph Vern Bogar and many other family members and friends.
Survivors are his loving and devoted wife Yvonne; his precious children, 1 daughter and
son-in-law-Deborah Kaye and Billy Ray Sparks of Sevierville, TN, 1 son and daughter-in-lawRichard Dwight and Tammy Louise (Smith) Bogar of Sidney, KY, 1 grandchild-Gina Lavon
(Sparks) and husband David Ray Brien of Mt. Sterling, KY, 2 precious great grandchildrenAshton Rachel Brien and Isaac Gage Brien of Mt, Sterling, KY, 1 loving brother-Harold F. and
wife Ina Jean Bogar of Sidney, Ky., 1 loving sister-Helen Bogar Moore of Fredericksburg, VA,
1 devoted and caring sister-in-law-Nita Jean and husband Bobby Joe Robinette, Nieces and
nephews-Rita and Bob Scott, Clarissa and David Self, Chad and Terry Moore, Chris and Wanda
Moore, Laura Beth Martin, Joseph and Jacob Martin, special family friend-Angie Roberts of
Sevierville, TN, and his loyal companion, his chocolate lab, Hershey.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 7
PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Whitted and Pastor Thomas
Holt officiating. There will also be visitation on Thursday evening July 26, 2012 beginning at 5
PM at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, KY.
Graveside service will be 11 AM Friday, July 27, 2012 in the Smith Cemetery in Sidney,
KY, with Brother Mike Smith officiating.
Crystal Renay Robinson, 37 of Sidney, KY, passed away Monday
morning, July 30, 2012 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, KY.
She was born November 24, 1974 at Williamson, WV the daughter
of Ed and Brenda Bailey Gess of Lovely, Ky.
Crystal was employed by the United States Postal Service and was
the Postmaster at the Lenore, WV post office. She was a member of the Elk
Creek Freewill Baptist Church where she was serving as a Sunday School Teacher.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Christopher Don Robinson of Sidney, Ky; step son, Derek Robinson of the Home; sister, Jennifer (Ricky) Booth of Lenore, WV;
nephews, Ricky and Joseph Edward Booth; niece, Abigail Renay Booth; grandmother, Della
Gess of Lovely, Ky.; mother and father-in-law, Donnie and Cathy Robinson of Sidney, Ky. and
a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 12 Noon in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Booth and Curtis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
