Albert Chandler Keesee, 74 of Belfry, Ky. passed away Wednesday night, August 29,
2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born March 27, 1938 at Belfry, Ky. the son of the late Moss and Della Mae Myers Keesee. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Keesee and sisters, Helen
Farmer, Lorene Hensley and Mary Jane Miller.
Albert was a retired teacher, social worker, tax collector and deputy sheriff. He was also a
proud supporter of the Democratic Party and a member of the East Williamson Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Chapman Keesee of Belfry; daughters, Gina (Jeff)
Hatfield of South Williamson, Ky. and Dr. Tara (Josh) O'Brien of Durham, NC; siblings,
Charles "Fuzzy" (Edith) Keesee of Phelps, KY, Nancy Worley of McVeigh, KY, Frank Keesee
of Belfry, KY and Alben (Josephine) Keesee of Turkey Creek, KY; a loving little grandchild on
the way, Ashling Clare O'Brien and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Keesee Family Cemetery, Belfry, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 7 PM Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Funeral Home Chapel.

Charles Allred, 87, of Maysville, KY, formerly of Toler, KY, passed
away Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville, KY.
He was born June 28, 1925 at Crawford, TN the son of the late
Herman and Betty Shepard Allred. He was also preceded in death by his
brothers, Luther and Willie Allred and sister, Ethel Cavalier.
Charles was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He
was a member of Stone Masonic Chapter #890 F. & A. M. and a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Elmo McCoy Allred of Maysville, KY; son,
Warren Allred of Maysville, KY; daughter, Teresa Henry of Cedar Grove, NC; sisters, Hazel
Burton of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Pauline Miller of Cornelius, NC; grandchildren, Meagan
Henry of Cedar Grove, NC and Marinda Allred of Maysville, KY and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 3, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain
View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Stone Chapter # 890 conducting Masonic graveside services.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home Chapel.

Bruce Edward Coleman, 54, of Williamson, WV, passed way over the weekend at the
Williamson Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born November 10, 1957 at Williamson, WV the son of the late Wade and Jette
Lee Smith Coleman. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Marie Coleman and
brother, Wade Coleman Jr.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Varney of Ransom, Ky. and Claudia Maynard of
Rawl, WV; half brother, James Earl Thompson of Belleville, IL and a host of nieces, nephews,
great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 1 PM at the
Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church with Emery Varney and Mike Smith officiating. Friends
may call from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday before services.

Mrs. Lucy T. Caul, 91, formerly of Williamson, WV departed this
life peacefully on August 29, 2012. She was born May 10, 1921 to the
late Brooksie and Burke Taylor.
In her final years, she relocated to Spotsylvania, VA to reside with
her devoted daughter, Mrs. Shirley Dexter Smith and son-in-law, John L.
Smith. It is there that she remained under the loving care of her family
until the Lord called her home. She will be remembered by her family as
a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
A service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 6, 2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home of Belfry, KY. and burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV.

Joseph "Joe" Reed 74, of Huddy, KY, passed away Friday September 7, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 18, 1938 at Canada, Ky., to the late Roscoe and Lassie Varney Reed.
He is also preceded in death by two sons; Thomas Reed and Joey Reed, four sisters; Bertha
Reed, Maxine Wilhite, Mary Hamble and Marie White and two brothers; William G. Reed and Claude H. Reed.
He was of the Baptist faith and a disabled coal miner.
He is survived by his wife; Phyllis Reed, brothers; Neil (Sue) Reed of
Columbus, Ohio, Tim (Susie) Reed of Turkey Creek, Ky., and Larry (Teresa)
Reed of Borderland, W.V. and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday September 10,
2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Josh Reed officiating. Burial will
follow at Smith Cemetery, Sidney, Ky., with family and friends serving as
pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 P.M. Sunday night at the funeral home.

Betty Mae Runyon Stanley, 84 of Canada, KY, went home to be
with her Heavenly Father, Thursday morning September 13, 2012 at
her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 1, 1928 at Canada, Ky. the daughter of the
late I. J. Runyon and Elizabeth Smith Runyon. She was also preceded
in death by her husband, Forest Cecil Stanley; son-in-law, Steve Phillips; baby sister, Joyce Runyon and brother-in-laws, Benny Tackett
and John Entry.
Betty was a retired kindergarten teacher from the Pike County
Board of Education and a very active member of the Belfry United
Methodist Church and the Belfry United Methodist Women's Society.
Betty is survived by two daughters; Brenda Stanley Phillips of Canada, KY and Linda
Stanley (Randy) Blackburn of Sidney, KY; sisters, Anne (Clinton) Reed of Canada, KY, Doris
Entry of Okeechobee, FL, Anele Runion of Orlando, FL and Sue Tackett of Canada, KY;
brother, David I. (Poochie) Runyon of Canada, KY and a host of special nieces, nephews, great
nieces, great nephews and many, many, friends who will miss her.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 1 PM at the Belfry United
Methodist Church with Rev. Michael D. Stanley, Geoff Tackett and Randy Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery, Sidney, KY with Geoff Tackett, Anthony Tackett, David Runyon, Corey Tackett, Caleb Tackett, Charles V. Stanley and Randy Smith serving
as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Belfry United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Belfry
United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Maggie L. Runyon, 85, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Canada, KY, passed away
Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Canada, Ky., to the late T. W. and Polly Jane Blackburn Scott. She is also preceded in death by her husband; Leonard Runyon, one son; James Runyon, five brothers
and two sisters. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by two sons; Billy (Mary) Runyon of Vero Beach, Fl.. and Bobby Runyon of Pinsonfork, Ky., nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will conducted at 2 P.M. Monday September 17, 2012 at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery at Sidney,
Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 1 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made
to the Charity of your choice.

Jason Allen Worley, 36, of Canada, KY, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012, at
Auxier, Ky. He was born, April 26, 1976, in South Williamson Ky., to Franklin and Lynn Hatfield Worley. He was a carpenter for Steve Thacker Construction.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one daughter; Skyler Worley, three sons Blake
Worley, Ryder Worley and Damon Worley, one brother; Taylor Worley of Canada, Ky., one
sister; Sara J. Worley of Canada, Ky and one special best friend/brother Randall Stanley. He is
also the grandson of Geneva Worley and the late Bert and Rena Hatfield
Graveside services will conducted at 11 A.M. Monday September 17, 2012 at Smith
Cemetery, Sidney, Ky., with Reverend Mikey Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 P.M. till 9 P.m. Sunday night at the funeral home. Randall Stanley and his cousins will serve as pallbearers.

Billie Ray Alexander, 70 of Williamson, WV passed away Monday, September 17, 2012
at his residence.
He was born November 4, 1941 at Huddy, Ky. the son of the late Christopher and Mattie
Thigpen Alexander. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Marie Alexander and a
brother, Mark Anthony Alexander.
He was a retired engineer from Norfolk and Southern Railroad, a veteran of the United
States Air Force and a member of Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Williamson, WV.
Survivors include two sisters, Madeline Alexander of Williamson, WV and Sharon Alexander of Huntington, WV and one brother, Benny M. Alexander of Seattle, WA and a host of
friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain
View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with Craig Eldridge, Henry Moore, Verdell Banks, Bobby
Joe Jackson and others serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time for the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, P.O. Box
614, Williamson, West Virginia 25661.
