Mary Lois Huttenstine, 79 of Sidney, KY, passed away Monday evening, September 17,
2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born December 15, 1932 in Pike County, Ky. the daughter of the late Marvin
and Orphia Maynard Elswick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Conrad
Huttenstine and one sister, Phyllis Ann Francis.
She was a retired employee of the Pike County Board of Education and a member of the
Hennon Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Dwayne (Melissa) Huttenstine of Hatfield, KY; three daughters, Annetta "Ann" (Larry) Stanley of Roanoke, VA, Bonnie (Scott) McAninch of Huntingdon,
TN and Donna (Brian) Elkins of Hatfield, KY; adopted daughter, Nancy Blackburn of Varney,
KY; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery,
Varney, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Wednesday and Thursday at R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home with special services Thursday night at 7 PM.

Dorothy F. Yates, 81 formerly of Belfry, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday,
September 18, 2012.
Dorothy was born in Belfry, Ky. the daughter of the late Joe and Ida Hunt Hackney. She
was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Yates and several siblings.
She was retired from Belfry High School after 20 years as a cook and a custodian. She attended the Reese Community Baptist Church, Groveport, Ohio and was a former member of the
Belfry Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Chris (Donna) Yates; grandchildren, Lacy Wimbish and
Christopher (Stephanie) Wimbish; great grandchildren, Bryan Buhrts, Paula Marteney, Andrew
Wimbish, Ashton Wimbish; sisters, Loretta Smith and Nancy (Thurman) Swigger; several nieces and nephews including special nephews, Luther (Brenda) Hackney and Jeep Hackney.
Friends may call at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, Groveport, Ohio from 4 until 8 PM
Thursday and from 4 until 8 PM Friday at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky. where
the funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday with her son, Chris Yates officiating. Burial
will follow in the Rutherford Cemetery, Huddy, KY.

Laura Alice Hager, 69 of Ransom, KY, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, Ky.
Born March 6, 1943 in Pike County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John Henry and
Mazie Akers Coleman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul
David Hager and she was the last and youngest of fourteen brothers and sisters all whom preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Guy) Rudisill of Ransom, Kentucky; one son
Greg (Barbara) Estep of Baltimore, Md.; two grandchildren, Olivia Bowman, Baltimore, Md.,
Stephanie Rudisill (Timothy Yates) of Pittsburg, Pa.; and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, September 28, 2012 at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Smith Officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery,
Ransom, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home with special services at 7 PM.

Wallace Maynard, 63 of Wheelersburg, Ohio formerly of Turkey
Creek, Ky. passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 2, 1949 at Turkey Creek, Ky. the son of the late Shirley
Maynard and Myrtle Mae Maynard of Sharp Chapel, TN. He was also preceded in death by a son, David Maynard and a grandson.
He was a former heavy equipement operator and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
Besides his Mother, he is survived by two daughters; Pamela Grimm
of Ft. Myers, FL and Kimberly Grimm of Blufton, SC; son, James Wallace Maynard of Blufton,
SC; three brothers, Joe Maynard of Sharp Chapel, TN, Kenny Maynard of TN and Cecil
Maynard of Logan, Ohio; six sisters, Louise Reed of Turkey Creek, Ky., Earnestine Andersen
of Sandusky, OH, Luna Gordon of Manning, SC, Shirley May Reed of Sharp Chapel, TN, Dorothy Brown of Burnwell, Ky. and Connie Scott of Rawl, WV; fourteen grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel with Lee Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monty Bevins Cemetery,
Sidney, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Monday, October 1, 2012 at the funeral home chapel
with special services at 7 PM.

Clifford Robinette 72, of Rockhouse Fork of Big Creek, passed away
Friday September 28, 2012 at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born November 13, 1939 at Varney, Ky. to the late Butler
and Vicie (Canada) Robinette. He is also preceded in death by one granddaughter; Alexandra Robinette, two brothers; Roy Hollis Robinette and
Toney Lee "Kingfish" Robinette and two half brothers; Luther Goff and
Johnny Goff.
He was a retired disabled coal miner having worked for Pittston Coal
Company and a member of the U.M.W.A. local union 1440.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years; Barbara Joan (Dutton) Robinette, one son; James
Randall "Randy" Robinette and his wife Sandi of Belfry, Ky. one daughter; Dayna Suzanna
(Brandon Williams) Robinette of Belfry, Ky. one sister; Martha Runyon of Meta, Ky. three
grandsons; Dylan Braday Williams and Cody Randall Robinette of Belfry, Ky., Robert Tackett
and Fiancée Alex Caudill of Wheelersburg, Ohio and a host of Loving Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday October 2, 2012 at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home with Gary Young and Richard Staton officiating. Burial will follow at the Family
Cemetery, Rockhouse Fork of Big Creek with Nephews and Friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 P.M. Sunday night and Monday night at the funeral home with
special services both nights at 7 P.M.

Bridgett Ann Adkins Smith, 58 of Turkey Creek, KY, passed
away Sunday night at the Appalachian Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born February 16, 1954 in Williamson, WV the daughter of
Lodeen Pinson Adkins of Sidney, Ky. and the late Raymond Adkins.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Barry Smith.
Bridgett was a customer service manager at the South Williamson Wal-Mart having worked there since it opened. She was also a
member of the Sidney Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her Mother, she is survived by two sons, Matthew and
Nathan Smith both of Turkey Creek, Ky.; one sister, Rosalind (Eddie) Stanley of Pikeville, Ky.;
niece, Natalie Stanley of Pikeville, Ky. and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Gary May officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Maher, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home with a special singing and prayer service at 7 PM.

Truman Blackburn, 84 of McAndrews, Ky. passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at the
Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center, Hazard, Ky. after a lingering illness.
He was born April 2, 1928 at South Webster, Ohio the son of the late Wash and Vesta
Mullins Blackburn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Blackburn and step
daughter, Barbara Hunt.
Truman owned and operated his own TV line for several years and was a veteran of the
United States Army.
Survivors include his caretakers, Roger and Debra Conley of Pinsonfork, Ky.; several
brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 4, 2012 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home
Chapel with David Parsley and Dennis Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in the Family
Cemetery, McAndrews, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the funeral home chapel with special services at 7 PM.

Margaret McBrayer, 101, of Pinsonfork, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 3,
2012 in the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.
She was born July 17, 1911 in Pike County, Kentucky a daughter of the late William
Franklin and Polly Robinson Thompson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Dexter F. McBrayer Sr.; daughter, Marie Irene Adams; two brothers and five sisters.
She attended McVeigh High School and Berea Academy, Berea, Kentucky and was a
Kindergarten and Head Start Teacher at Runyon Elementary School. Margaret was a member of
the McVeigh Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Della (Herb) Stallard of New Carlisle, Ohio; one son,
Dexter (Pat) McBrayer of Beaver Creek, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Nita Stallard, Ginger (Bob)
Otto, Cindy Jackson, Steve (Carla) Stallard, Andy (Penny) Stallard, Christy Hash and Cathy
(Paul) Barger; eleven great grandchildren, Cameron, Tiana, Ryan, Jeremy, Nick, Sean, Josh,
Morgan, Luke, Eden, and Kennady and a host of loving friends. A special thanks to the Staff of
Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care they gave to Margaret.
Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with
Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Kentucky
with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM Saturday till time of Funeral.
