Kenneth Lee Gannon, 54, of Goody, KY, passed away Sunday,
December 2, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born October 11, 1958 in Williamson, WV the son of
Phyllis Perkins Gannon of Delbarton, WV and the late George W. Gannon. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Junior and Franklin D.
Gannon and sisters, Audrey Ross and Louise Runyon.
He was a former coal miner and the owner of South Williamson Cab Co.
Other than his Mother, he is survived by his longtime companion, Esther Wolford; children, Kenneth (Donna) Gannon II of Belfry, Ky., James (Tina) Gannon of Oak Hill, Ohio, B. J.
Gannon (Reid) Cordle, Nikki Short, Jessica Gannon, Shane Gannon and Austin Gannon all of
Belfry, Ky.; brothers, Billy Gannon and George Gannon both of Oak Hill, Ohio, James Gannon
of Fort Gay, WV, and Larry Gannon of Tampa, FL; sisters, Helen Wolfe of Ashland, Ky., Linda Ratcliff and Nellie Hannah of Williamson, WV; special brother-in-law, Edwin McCoy;
grandchildren, Chyene West, Cody West, Kendra Gannon, Tyler Gannon, Lexi Gannon, Hallie
Gannon, Dante Davis and Jayla Hackney and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Austin Gannon, Kenneth Gannon II, Shane Gannon,
Chyene West, Tyler Gannon, Cody West, James Gannon and Glenn Gannon serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the Funeral Home with
special services both nights at 7 PM.
Bonnie Sue Goble, 64, of Sprigg, WV, passed away Wednesday,
December 5, 2012, at her residence following a long illness.
She was born on August 15, 1948 in Hatfield, KY, to the late
Edgar and Blanddene Webb Goble. In addition to her parents, she was
also preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Ray Goble and Ronald
Dale Goble, sisters, Lois Jean McCoy and Lillian Carol Marcum and
sisters-in-law Betty Jo Goble and Wilma Jean Goble.
Bonnie was a graduate of Logan High School and Marshall University. She began her teaching career in 1970, dedicating most of her teaching years with kindergarten children at Varney Grade School and Matewan Elementary School. She was also a
devoted daughter, sister and friend.
Survivors include brothers, William Harvey Goble (Lou Ann), Clifford Lee Goble;
brothers-in-law, Donald McCoy and Ernie Marcum and sister-in-law, Bethany Goble. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 7, 2012 at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV.
Visitation will be held from 6 untill 9 PM Thursday, December 6 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Guy Curtis Alexander, 60, of Williamson, WV, passed away
Monday, December 3, 2012 at his residence.
He was born September 4, 1952 at Williamson, WV the son of the
late Robert Alexander and Cherokee Billups Fulgham. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patrecia Alexander and a brother, Charles Michael Alexander.
Guy was a former construction worker and a veteran of the United State Navy.
Survivors include his sister, Bobbie Carroll Alexander Childress of Williamson, WV; brother,
Robert Steven Alexander of Indianapolis, IN and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 AM at the Logan
Street First Baptist Church, Williamson, WV with Rev. Gerald Dotson officiating.
William Wade Smith, 81, of Canada, KY, passed away Wednesday night, December 5, 2012 at his home after a lingering illness.
He was born December 28, 1930 at Stone, Ky. the son of the late
Willie and Vada Chapman Smith. He was also preceded in death by a
sister, Arminda Smith; two son-in-laws, Harold James Jr. and Jeffrey
Thompson and his Mother and Father-in-law, Fred and Anna Varney.
Wade was retired from Eastern Coal Corp., a member of the Big
Creek Primitive Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Sue Smith of Canada, Ky.; children, David (Sherri) Harris of Canada, Ky., William Wade "Turtle"
(Pam) Smith of Canada, Ky., Karen Sue James of Huddy, Ky., Cynthia Thompson of Newport

Pauline Runyon White, 64, of Borderland WV, passed away Thursday December 6, 2012
at Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 16, 1948 at Borderland, WV to Haskel
Runyon Sr. and Josephine Collins Runyon of Borderland, WV.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Williamson High School, worked at Deacons
Cleaners and a member of the Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband; James Harvey White, daughter;
Kimberly Dawn White (Danny) Allen of Borderland, WV, sisters; Wilma Lea Reed of Borderland, WV, Margaret Ann (B. J.) Thompson of Harmony, SC, and Mildred (Eddie) Varney of
Salt Rock, WV, brothers; Freddie Runyon of Borderland, WV and Haskel (Bonnie) Runyon Jr.
of Borderland, WV grandchild; Destiny Paige Teeters and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Donnie Ray Mullins 66 of Huddy, KY, was reunited with the Love of
his Life, Linda Mullins Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the home of his son.
Donnie was born July 22, 1946 at Dix Fork, Ky. the son of the late
Alvin and Martha Blackburn Mullins. He was also preceded in death by a sister Lou Darbyshire.
Donnie was a retired employee of Eastern Coal Corporation and a loving father, grandfather and brother.
Survivors include his son, Rod (Angie) Mullins of Pikeville, Ky.;
brothers, Gene (Patsy) Mullins, Roger (Debbie) Mullins and Ricky (Nancy) Mullins all of Sidney, Ky.; two grandchildren, Byron Marshall Mullins and MaKayla Mullins and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Mullins and Donnie Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Byron Mullins and his nephews

Stevin Randall "Randy" Staton, 58 of Forest Hills, KY, passed
away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Forest Hills, Ky.
Randy was born January 7, 1954 in Mingo County, WV the
son of Thelma Maynard Staton of Forest Hills, Ky. and the late Abel
Staton. He was a former coal operator and a member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church.
Besides his Mother, he is survived by three sons, Stevin Staton,
Brandon Staton and Zachary (Erica) Staton all of Richmond, KY;
brother, Charles Staton of Williamson, WV; sister, Deborah Ann
Staton of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Madison Staton of Delbarton, WV and Braden Staton of North Judson, Indiana; the Mother of his children, Marcia Pollis;
special friend he thought of as a son, Sammy Reed Jr. of Richmond, KY and a host of other family and friends.

Tilden "Mack" Caines, 70 of Chesnee, SC formerly of Williamson, WV passed away
Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home in South Carolina.
He was born June 27, 1942 in Pike County, Ky. the son of the late Ernest and Loriane
Smith of McVeigh, Ky. He was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Scott; brothers, Carol B.
Caines and Elmer Smith and a nephew, Erine Smith.
Mack was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA and a member of the Chattaroy Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Caines; daughter, Janice (Donnie) Wood, grandchildren, Rachel Toney and Ivey Wood all of the home; daughters, Tosha (the late Phillip Hickman), Michelle Caines (Doug), Tonya Caines (Johnathon) and Crystal (David) Martin; sons,
John (Amanda) Toney and Jerry (Marsha) Toney; grandchildren, Phillip Hickman II, Chelsea
Hickman, Tyler Webb, Tegan Webb, Shea Caines, John Toney III, Clayton Toney, Randy Toney, Holly Welch, Nichole Welch, Caleb Toney, Emily Toney, Jeffery (Britni) Wood and
Bladyen Martin; great grandchildren, Drake Wood and Chelsea Henery; brothers, Emmit Smith
