Olivia Raelyne Bowman, 23, of Towson, MD, formerly of Sidney,
KY, passed away Monday August 4, 2014 at her residence.
She was born December 18, 1990, in Williamson, WV the daughter
of Barbara and James Gregory Estep of Darlington, MD and her father,
Matthew Cook of PA.
Olivia was preceded in death by her Aunt, Bonnie Bowman and a
grandmother, Laura Alice Hager.
She was a graduate of Towson University in 2013 and had planned
on attending Law School. She was a member of the Towson Church of Christ.
Other than her parents she is survived by her Maternal grandparents,
Enos and Ann Bowman of Sidney, KY; aunt and uncle, Guy and
Tammy Rudisill of Ransom, KY; her cousin, Stephanie Rudisill and her fiancée, T.J. Yates of
Florida and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel with Buddy Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery,
White Oak Mountain, KY with Roger Wolf conducting graveside services.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Christopher Anthony Whitt Fletcher, 23 of Chattaroy, WV passed
away Saturday morning, August 16, 2014 at the Appalachian Regional
Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born April 24, 1991 in Logan, WV the son of Randall (Tanya)
Fletcher of Chattaroy, WV and Jackie Marcum (Shawn) Ray of Lovely, Ky.
He was employed by Double Quik at Goody, KY and the Tunnel
Drive-In. He attended the Resolution "Rezo" Church.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Ethel Gillman
Whitt and David Whitt and by one brother, Dwayne Whitt.
Other than his parents he is survived by three sisters, Samantha Whitt and Christina Whitt
both of Chattaroy, WV and Danielle (J.C.) Kirk of Inez, KY; half brothers, Vince and Aaron
Ray of Lovely, KY; half sister, Destiney Ray of Lovely, KY; step brothers, Logan Slater of
Chattaroy, WV and Thomas (Machelle) Ray of Milo, KY; step sisters, Skyler Slater and Sierra
(Dustin) Hamilton all of Richmond, KY, Kim (Kenny) Hensley of Dan's Branch, WV, Tiffany
(Joey) Gore of VA and Jessica Ray and Fiancée, Brandon Jude of Wolf Creek, KY; nieces,
Madyson Hensley, Lexie Gore and Belle Ray; nephews, Levi Hamilton and Damian Hensley;
grandparents, Matt and Dorsie Fletcher of Hatfield, KY, Mary and Thomas Mann of Lovely,

Dorothy Irene Dillon, 89 of Burnwell, Ky. passed away Saturday, August
23, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa, Ky.
Dorothy was born July 16, 1925 at Burnwell, Ky. the daughter of the late
George Washington and Alma McCoy Stanley. She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Syearl Dillon; sister, Betty Mann; brothers, Clyde
and George Stanley and a half brother, Jay Glenn Casey.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Burnwell Church of God.
Survivors include her children, Regina (John V.) McCoy of Burnwell,
Ky., Bonnie (Kenner) Hatfield of Paintsville, Ky. and Michael Dale (Kris)
Dillon of Burnwell, Ky.; sisters, Ella Mae McCoy of Columbus, Ohio and Delphia Blackburn of
Burnwell, Ky.; grandchildren, Corey Michael Hatfield of Nicholasville, Ky., Becky Lipps of
Turkey Creek, Ky., Justin Michael Dillon of Burnwell, Ky. and Joshua Scott Dillon of Turkey
Creek, Ky.; great grandchildren, Jordan Dillon, Ethan Dillon, Brody Dotson and Kami Jae

Edith Pauline Helms Scott of Hardy, KY. passed away at her home on August 23, 2014 at the age of 96.
She was born to Lon and Mary Catherine Toler Helms at McAndrews,
KY on October 15, 1917. She was preceded in death by her loving husband
of 61 years, Leonard Scott; four brothers, Lon Wyatt (Fuzzy) Helms Jr., Joe
Helms, George McClellan Helms and Franklin Delano Helms; three sisters,
Nora Etta Helms Charles, Irene Insley Helms Reed and Lida Josephine Helms Hunt.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Leonard (Mildred) Scott and Paul
David (Glady) Scott all of Hardy, KY; three grandchildren, Scarlett Rebecca
(William) Finley, Jeanne Marie (Brian) Norman all of Hardy, KY and Paul Joseph "PJ" (Lisa)
Scott of Turkey Creek, KY; great grandchildren, Brian Gary Norman, Ashley Nicole Norman,
Amber Dawn Scott, Morgan Tenaj Linville and Paul Curtis Finley; step grandchildren, Mirah
(Justin) Stacy, Matthew Bandy and Alexandria Bandy; great granddaughter, Isabella Stacy;
sisters-in-law, Marvena Helms, Kathryn Helms and Betty Helms; nephew, Eddie Helms; nieces,
Phyllis Justice, Sherri Goode, Belinda Helms, Lonna Gail Helms, Patty Bowens, Rheta Jo Mills
and Caryn Helms and a host of nieces and nephews by marriage and many friends.
At her death, Edith was the oldest member of the McAndrews Wesleyan Church where she
became a member at the age thirteen. She sang special songs at church with her sisters Irene and
Lida forming the Helms Sisters Trio; which, also traveled and sang at other churches.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday August 26, 2014 at R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home with David Parsley and Dennis Wolford officiating. Burial will follow at
Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY with Brian Norman, Brian Gary Norman, W. C.
Finley, P.J. Scott, Jerry Darbyshire, David Keith Darbyshire and Steve Scott serivng as
pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be James Leonard Darbyshire.

Charlotte Ann Belcher, 71 of McVeigh, KY, passed away Saturday August 23, 2014 at her residence.
Charlotte was born September 4, 1942 in Washington D.C. the daughter of the late Chas T. and Bessie Frances Taylor McKim.
She was a former School Cook in Fairfax County, VA. and of the Methodist Faith.
She is survived by her husband; William Larry Belcher of McVeigh, KY; one son, Paul
Reece Belcher of Fairfax, VA; one brother, Bobby McKim of Fairfax, VA and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Feree officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery,
Maher, WV with friends serving as pallbearers.

Ikey Lee McCoy, 64 of South Williamson, Ky. passed away Sunday,
August 24, 2014 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 2, 1950 in Williamson, WV the son of Elizabeth
Blair McCoy of South Williamson, Ky. and the late Dewey Lee McCoy.
He was a disabled electrician and boss in the coal mining industry.
Other than his mother he is survived by the following children; Ikey
Lee (Teresa) McCoy II of South Williamson, Ky., Leah Ann McCoy of
Houston, Texas and Ryan McCoy Birklebach of California; brothers,
Teddy Dwayne McCoy of South Williamson, KY and Dewey Lee (Janice)
McCoy II of Charolotte, NC; grandchildren, Savannah McCoy, Seth
McCoy and Landon McCoy; special niece, Brooke McCoy and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery,
Williamson, WV with Teddy McCoy, Duke McCoy, Jimmy Bevins, Bernie Caines, Harold

Edna Workman Bostic 92, of Belfry, KY, went to her heavenly
home surrounded by her loving family on August 25, 2014 at the
Appalachian Regional Healthcare in South Williamson, KY.
She was born in Belfry, KY, on Sept. 14, 1921 to Hattie Runyon
Workman and Silas Workman who preceded her in death. She was also
preceded in death by one daughter, Judi Wallace, one granddaughter,
McKerry Stanley and three brothers; Jack Workman, Tom Workman and Woody Workman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Rufus Bostic.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Buddy (Diana) Bostic of
Pikeville, KY, Marilyn Bostic of Belfry, KY, Sharon (Mike) Kline and Susan (Mike) Stanley
both of Goody, KY, Sandy (Rodney) Brewer of Huddy, KY and Audrann (Michael) Brewer of
Nolan, WV. She is survived by one sister, Jean Blackburn of Kokomo, IN, and 13
grandchildren, Devonna (Keith) Stratton, Robyn (Alan) Bays, Chasity (Joe) Woolf, Cherona
(Richard) Owens, Mikila (James) Carroll, Gordi (Star) Wallace, Leslie (Daniel) Carter, Ashlie
Smith, Kristen (Matt) DeBoard, Cliff Wallace, Dr. Beth (Jonathan) Wright, Ryan Bostic and
Robbi-Ann Brewer. She also leaves behind 17 beloved great grandchildren, a special brother-in-law, W. L. (Lucy) Bostic, a sister-in-law, Quinnie Workman and a very special friend, Joanna
Copley.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to share her great
home cooked meals with everyone who visited her home. She was a member of Chattaroy
Missionary Baptist Church and a previous member of Stone Baptist Church where she loved to
sing in the choir and teach Sunday School.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday from 6 - 9 PM at the R. E. Rogers Funeral
Home Chapel with a special singing service at 7 P.M.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, August 28 at the Funeral Home Chapel
with Pastor W. L. Bostic and Dr. James Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at the Bostic
Family Cemetery at Coburn Point, Huddy, KY. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
