Audry Marie Hicks, 85, of South Williamson, KY, passed away Saturday, November 28,
2015, at Tug Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 26, 1930, at Williamson, WV, to the late Floyd and Leana Johnson. She
is also preceded in death by her husband, Beecher Hicks, one son, George Hicks, one daughter,
Linda Webb and son-in-law, Doug Webb.
She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence (Gracie) Hicks of Chattaroy, WV, Beecher Hicks of
Chattaroy, WV, and Clyde (Lisa) Hicks of Waverly, OH, daughter-in-law, Donia Hicks of Williamson, WV, two sisters, Rose Mary Parsley of NC, and Bea Pernell of Grayson, KY. Grandchildren, Doug Webb, Randy Webb, Sandy May, Angel Nelson, Angie Hicks, Shawn Hicks,
Shawna Hicks, Renea McCurdy, Kristey Hicks, Shane Hicks, Donetta Hicks, Samatha Hawk,
Morgan Hicks, Misty Hill, Steven Hicks, Jarred Perry, Jason Hicks, Cierra Toler and Chandler
Hicks and a host of Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren Family and Friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Gospel Revelation Tabernacle Church with Delbert McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Branch
Cemetery, Falls Branch, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday and Monday night at Gospel Revelation Tabernacle
Church with special services both nights at 7 PM.
Doris Kenneda Cline Wingler, 72, of Williamson, WV, passed
away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born March 31, 1943, at Simon, WV, the daughter of
the late Bryan Kenneda and Brookie Harper Kenneda Webb. She
was also preceded in death by two sons, Michael Elby Cline and
Daniel Allen Cline, Jr.; brother, Jennings Kenneda and Thurl
Kenneda and sisters, Jean Dingess, Parlie Harper, Maxine Harper,
Alberta Moore, Edna Brooks and Atlas Morgan.
Doris was a homemaker and a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Burl Lester Jr. of Williamson, WV; two
daughters, Carolyn (Roby) Lyons of Hatfied, KY and Veleda (David) Marcum of Hatfield, KY;
three sisters, Sue Ann Lester of Hanover, WV, Linnie Lawrence and Wanda Lee Morgan of
Simon, WV; four grandchildren, Contessa (Nick) Newsome, Danielle (Daniel) Bow, Shenna
(Jonathon) Scott and Derick Lyons; six great grandchildren, Madison Newsome, Jessie Bow,
Allyson Newsome, Chloe Bow, Ethan Bow and Jace Scott and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Dwayne Yates and Earsel Bowman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Huddy, KY. Pallbearers will be
Roby Lyons, David Marcum, Nick Newsome, Jonathon Scott, Derick Lyons and Thurmon Stacy.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Thursday and Friday at the funeral home chapel. There
will be special services both nights at 7 PM.
Rush Randall Ratliff, 59, of Kimper, KY, went home to be with his
Lord and Savior on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Pikeville Medical Center after a lingering illness.
Randall graduated from Johns Creek High School in 1976. Upon graduation, he began working for his brother, Donnie, at River Hurricane Coal
until he became disabled in 1984. He was a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan,
and could not wait for football and especially basketball season to begin
each year. He loved spending time with his family and up until his illness
he enjoyed tracing his family roots spending many hours gathering the
Ratliff and May genealogy. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was born October 29, 1956, to the late Rush and Lillian May Ratliff. Besides his parents
he was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie Canada, Odell Ratliff and sister, Audrey Ratliff
Stevens and niece, Dale Lyn Layne.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 34 years, Sharon Scalf Ratliff; son, Bryan Randall
Ratliff of Kimper, KY; sisters, Nell (Buster) Coleman and Phyllis Ratliff of Kimper, KY, Doris
Canada Layne of Michigan, Weaultha (Richard) Ratliff TerDoest of Hudson, Michigan and
brother, Tracy Ratliff of Toledo, Ohio. The sparkle in his eyes that he loved with every beat of
his heart, a very special great nephew, Boden Canada whom he always said was the grandchild
he never had. Also surviving are ten nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Kentucky, Monday, December 7th
at 6 PM. There will be a short service at 7 PM.
Funeral will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, December 8th at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery, Sidney, KY. Pallbearers will be Chris Canada, Roger Varney, Grayson
Layne Jr., D. G. McCoy, Danny Scalf, Alvin Thornbury, Jason Justice and William Barrett Webb.

Brandon Eric Ward, 42, of Williamson, WV passed away, Friday, December 4, 2015, at the
Williamson Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 6, 1973, at Grundy, VA, the son of Sandra Rash Ward of Williamson,
WV and the late Ralph Edward Ward. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jason and Tempia Rash, his paternal grandparents, Dewey and Beatrice Ward and a special niece, Madison Ward.
Other than his mother, he is survived by two children; one brother, Dustin Ward of Williamson, WV; one sister, Jacinda Ward of Delbarton, WV; a very special uncle, Gary Rash; nieces,
Makenzie Ward, Kendall Ward and Sarah Ward; nephews, Joshua Ward, Easton Hall and Chase
Runyon; cousins, Eric, Derek, Katrina, Dedra and Heather and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Michael Shawn Lowe, 45, of Rogersville, TN, formerly of Hatfield, KY,
passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at his residence in Rogersville, TN.
He was born April 2, 1970, at Pontiac, MI to Patty Ray Lowe of Rogersville, TN, and the late Clinton Dale Lowe. He is also preceded in death by
one sister, Jessica Dawn Lowe, a brother, Craig Anthony Lowe and his
grandparents, Dewey and Gladys Ray and Ireland and Edna Miller Lowe.
He was a former coal miner, a 1988 graduate of Belfry High School and of the Baptist faith.
Besides his mother, he is survived by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday December 11, 2015, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Lacy Walters and Others officiating. Burial will follow at Ray Cemetery, Varney, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday night at the funeral home with special services at
7:00 p.m.
Lester Eugene Francisco, 90, of Sidney, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born September 8, 1925 in Pike County, KY, to the late David and Nancy Keesee Francisco. He is also preceded in death by one
sister, Augustine Robinette, and two brothers, Chester Francisco and
Lendall Francisco. He was retired from the railroad, a veteran of the U.
S. Navy in WW II and a member of the Sidney Missionary Church.
He is survived by a special sister-in-law, Ann Francisco of Sidney,
KY, a special nephew, Jerry Francisco of Sidney, KY, and a host of
nieces, nephews, family, friends and church family.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday December, 12, 2015, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Shawn Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery, Sidney, KY,
with family, friends and members of the church serving as pallbearers. Special Honorary pallbearers will be Fonso Bogar, Claude Smith, Ronny West and Mike Mathys.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday night at the funeral home.
Willie James Taylor, 70, of Ransom, KY, passed away Saturday
night, December 12, 2015, at his residence.
He was born December 28, 1944, at McAndrews, KY, the son of
the late Monroe and Lassie Justice Taylor. He was also preceded in
death by a sister, Mert Ingram; a brother, Olen Taylor and a grandson, John Christian Taylor.
He was a retired coal miner.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Louise Lowe Taylor of Ransom,
KY; children, Willie James "Buckie" Taylor Jr. and girlfriend, Mary
"Neicie" Smith of Burnwell, KY, LouAnn Perkins of Stone, KY,
Bobby Ray Taylor of Williamson, WV and Charles Fredrick (Lorinda) Taylor of Pinsonfork,
KY; sisters, Geraldine "Doll" (Arnold) Lowe of McAndrews, KY, Birdie (Avery) Sluss of
Beckley, WV and Leona Maynard of Turkey Creek, KY; brothers, Johnny Taylor, Bill Monroe
(Sheila) Taylor and Michael Lee (Angie) Taylor all of McAndrews, KY; eleven grandchildren,
seven great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Home Chapel with James Orison officiating. Burial will follow in the King Cemetery,
McAndrews, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Connie M. Sanders, of Howard Hollow at Chattaroy, WV passed away December 14, 2015,
at Signature Healthcare, Pikeville, KY.
She was born October 24, 1933, at Williamson, WV the daughter of the late William Arthur
and Susie Crigger Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Elden
Sanders. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Arnold and Howard Edward
Moore; two sisters, Beatrice Haeberle and Pauline Ramey; granddaughter, Brittany Sanders and
a grandson, Jeff Akers.
She graduated from Williamson High School in 1951. She was employeed in the office of
Armour Meat Packing Co. in Williamson for 37 years. She was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Williamson and also a member of the Ladie's Auxillary of B.R.T.
She is survived by a son, Rick (Deborah) Sanders and a grandson she raised for 8 years,
Douglas Sanders all of Williamson, WV; two step daughters, Linda Diane Stevens of Pikeville,
KY and Shelby (Gary) Akers of Burlington, KY; two sisters, Irene Freeman of South Williamson, KY and Ruth (Marvin) Vernatter of Williamson, WV; a sister-in-law, Thelma Moore of
Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Rodney, Braxton, Jenna, Bryan, Penny, Brooke and Billy;
great grandchildren, Willie Bentley and Hailey Dillon; special nephews, Clifford and Roger
Freeman; special niece, Elaine Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Jarrod Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
