Calvin Crouch, 79, of Marion, passed away July 20, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held July 22 at Marion Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Clarke and Rev. David Winders officiating. Burial was in Tyners Chapel Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Crouch of Marion; a sister, Clara Travis of Marion; two brothers, James Crouch of 29 Palms, Calif., and Gene Crouch of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
White
HENDERSON, Ky. - Linnie Roberta White, 84, passed away July 19, 2002 at Methodist Hospital.
Funeral services were held July 22 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, DeLores Cornelius of Lakeland, Fla., Rita Pennington and Kay Morris, both of Henderson; three sons, Larry White and Harold White, both of Henderson, and Barry White of Evansville; a brother, Kenneth Davenport of Marion; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Jackson
KUTTAWA, Ky. - Bobby Jackson, Jr., 46, passed away July 17, 2002 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lyon County and Shady Grove Masonic Lodge No. 559. He was a former Baptist minister, master electrician for TVA and owner of B&B Goat Farm.
Surviving are his wife, Becky Kingston Jackson; his parents, Rev. Bobby Jackson, Sr., and Elberta Riley Jackson; three daughters, Bobbi Jo Lockhart of Princeton, Kathy Jo Groves of Graham and Debra Jo Lipe of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Christi Ritter of Eddyville; a stepson, Sammy Ritter of Hopkinsville; three brothers, Mike Jackson of Madisonville, Sammy Jackson of Pocahontas, Ark., and Fred Jackson of Caldwell County; two sisters, Linda Cole of Maynard, Ark., and Rena Hillyard of Caldwell County.
Funeral services were held July 19 at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Finley, Rev. Mickey Lewis and Rev. Jerry Holeman officiating. Burial was in Baker Cemetery.
Conyer
DANIELSVILLE, Ga. - Charles W. "Charlie" Conyer, 73, formerly of Marion, passed away July 17, 2002.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services were held July 19.
Hopkins
Jerry Ray Hopkins, 63, of Marion, passed away July 3, 2002 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He is survived by a sister, Phillis E. Patmor of Marion; a brother, Scotty Hopkins of Marion; and four nephews.
Graveside services were held July 6 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell County. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Shadowen
Evelyn F. Shadowen, 87, of Marion, passed away July 15, 2002 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of Mexico Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Shadowen of Benton; three grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Collin Shadowen; and a son, Lige Shadowen.
Funeral services were held July 18 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Groff officiating. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery.

Hagerty
PRINCETON, Ky. - Jayne Hagerty, 77, passed away July 12, 2002 at Caldwell County Hospital. She was a retired hotel maid supervisor. She was a member of St. Thomas of Caterbary Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill., where she lived for over 57 years before moving to Princeton. She was also a member of the Chicago, Ill., Uptown Ministry.
She is survived by a son, Kevin Hagerty of Centerville, Ill.; three daughters, Dolores Jandrey and Charleen Hagerty, both of Princeton, and Darlene Roberts of Crittenden County; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hagerty; four sons, Joseph Hagerty, Herbert Hagerty, Michael Hagerty and Timothy Hagerty; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. Her parents were Robert and Margaret Nelson Ridley.
Funeral services were held July 16 at St. Mark Catholic Church with Rev. Maurice Tiell officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Thomas
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Ronald Thomas, 59, formerly of Marion, passed away July 12, 2002 in Alpharetta, Ind. He had worked at Western Electric and Lucent Technologies. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Thomas; two sons, Ronald Max and David Scott; his mother, Evalyn Thomas; two sisters, Pat DiMatteo and Kathisu Jordan; two brothers, Gordon Scott and Mark Thomas; and four grandchildren.
Services were held July 17 at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell, Ga.
Hargrove
BURNA, Ky. - Funeral services for Willie G. Hargrove, 98, were held July 14, 2002 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem. Rev. John East and Rev. Phillip Yancy officiated with burial in Duley Bluff Cemetery.
Hargrove, a member of Central Baptist Church, passed away July 11 at Livingston Hospital.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Hargrove of Burna and Phillip Hargrove of Taylor, S.C.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Markey Hargrove; a sister; two brothers; and a son, Joe Billy Hargrove. His parents were Robert E. and Laura Hughes Hargrove.
Hughes
PRINCETON, Ky. - Peggy Sue Hughes, 55, passed away July 10, 2002 at her home. She was a homemaker and attended Assembly of God Church in Princeton.
Surviving are her husband, John Hughes of Princeton; a son, Tommy Vied of Marion; three brothers, Charles Corley of Marion, Roy Corley of Sturgis and Joe Corley of Evansville; a sister, Betty Oliver of Princeton; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held July 12 at Morgan's Funeral Home with burial in White Sulphur Church Cemetery.
Her parents were James and Frances Boyd Corley.
