Marie Belt, 83, of Marion passed away Sept. 18, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was a member of Barnett Chapel Church. Belt is survived by a son, Jerry Belt of Marion; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Belt; and a son, Jimmie Belt.
Services were held Sept. 20 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. David Winders officiating. Burial was in White's Chapel Cemetery.
Bigham
Services for Lorene Bigham, 76, of Marion were held Sept. 22 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Howton officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Bigham passed away Sept. 20, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Clinton Bigham and Jimmie Bigham, both of Marion; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Bigham was preceded in death by her husband, Houston F. Bigham; and her parents, James and Nona Montgomery.
Burton
Hattie Burton, 94, of Marion passed away Sept. 20, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
She is survived by two sisters, Cook Owen and May Howard, both of Marion; a granddaughter, Sheryl Streetmir and a grandson, Brandon Streetmir, both of Davenport, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Hearod; a son, W.F. Burton; and her parents, Beverly and Minta Smith.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 23 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Frances Cemetery.
Cogswell
Alwyn Cogswell, 86, of Cherokee Village, Ark., formerly of Crittenden County, passed away Sept. 19, 1999 at Eastern Ozark Regional Health Systems.
Cogswell was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by a nephew.
Cogswell was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Cogswell.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23 at Mapleview Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Brantley
Services for Mable Brantley, 94, of Marion, were held Sept. 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Revs. Robert Phillips and Russ Davidson officiating. Burial was in Repton Cemetery.
Brantley passed away Sept. 8, 1999 at the Crittenden County Convalescent Center.
She was a charter member and oldest member of Cave Springs General Baptist Church.
Brantley is survived by a daughter, Anna Jay of Marion; a son, Harold Ray Brantley of Villa Ridge, Mo., Gerald Brantley and Robert Brantley, both of Marion; a half brother, Ray Collings of Chandler, Ind.; a half sister, Lora Roberts of Newburgh, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
King
Donald King, 63, of Bement, Ill., formerly of Crittenden County, passed away Sept. 10, 1999 at Bement Health Care Center in Bement.
King is survived by three sisters, Dorris Driver of Marion, Marjorie Lucas of Chandler, Ind., and Maxine Schulze of Melburn, Fla.; four half brothers, Mike Gress, Danny Gress, Dennis Gress and Bobby Gress, all of Illinois.

Belt
Jimmie Belt, 56, of Fredonia passed away Sept. 13, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
Belt is survived by his wife, Sandra Belt of Fredonia; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Johnny Gilbert of Fredonia; two grandchildren, Dustin and Jennifer Gilbert of Fredonia; two brothers, Junior Belt of Lansing, Ill., John Paul Belt of Sturgis; three sisters, Ruby Hawkins of Seymore, Ind., Darlene Joseph of Madisonville and Karen Brown of Seymore; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Belt; a sister; and his parents.
Services were held Thursday, Sept. 16 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Dr. Jerrell White officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Holloman
Faye Holloman, 71, of Palos Hills, Ill. passed away Aug. 31, 1999 at Palos Community Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, William Holloman of Palos Hills; a son, Billy Dale Holloman of Orland Hills, Ill.; two sisters, Edna Mae Stallions of Marion and Mary Evelyn Stallions of Marion; a brother, Robert Winders of Paducah; two grandchildren, Billy Dale Holloman, Jr. and Jennifer Holloman, both of Orland Hills.
Services were held Sept. 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. David Winders officiating. Burial was in Love Cemetery.
Patton
Funeral services for Jackie Patton, 71, of Dycusburg, were held Aug. 24 at Lakeland Funeral Home at Eddyville. Rev. Gerald Gaddis officiated the ceremony. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Patton passed away Aug. 21, 1999 at her home.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ollie Patton; a son, Jim Patton of Crittenden County; a daughter, Jacquetta Braswell of Crittenden County; a grandson, Nathan Braswell of Crittenden County; and a brother, Eddie Wilford of Kuttawa.
Lynch
William Eddie Lynch, 58, of Eddyville passed away Aug. 9, 1999 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Betty McDaniel Lynch of Eddyville; two daughters, Cindy Neu of Chicago, Ill. and Paula Scott of Worth, Ill.; two sons, Eddie Bruce Lynch of Iroquois, Ill. and Mike Lynch of Oak Forrest, Ill.; his mother, Leora Landers of Marion; two brothers, Charlie Lynch of Leonard, Texas and Howard Lynch of Benton, Tenn.; two sisters, Kathleen Parkhurst of Essex, Ill. and Wanda Guess of Marion; and 14 grandchildren.
Burial was in Chapel Hill Gardens in Worth, Ill.
Moreland
Dorothy Moreland, 76, of Marion passed away Aug. 10, 1999 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was a member of the Marion Pentecostal Church.
Moreland is survived by her husband, William F. Moreland of Marion; a son, James A. Moreland of Hammond, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 14 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Driver officiating.
Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
