Geneva Drennan, 81, of Marion, passed away Feb. 23, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Cave Springs General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Drennan of Marion; three daughters, Marcia Davidson, Marilyn Travis and Madeline Henderson, all of Marion; two sisters, Vivian Hayes of Seymour, Ind., and Lucille Zimmerman of Vine Grove; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Carlton Drennan, Jr.; a brother, Herbert Sullivan; and a sister, Verna Gregory.
Funeral services were held Feb. 25 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Lathem officiating. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Spurrier
Mary Aladine Spurrier, 85, of Marion, passed away Feb. 23, 2002 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center.
She was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was pianist for 30 years.
Surviving are a son, Don Spurrier of Marion; a daughter, Dana Mullins of St. Genevieve, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Feb. 25 at Rosebud Cemetery with Rev. David Frisby officiating. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hodge
Hayden "Doc" Hodge, 84, of Marion, passed away Feb. 26, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Keith Hodge of Marion; a daughter, Linda Yandell of Marion; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Hodge; and a son, John Hodge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Feb. 28 (today) at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Watson and Rev. Norman Harmon will officiate with burial in Union Cemetery.
Brown
William O. Brown, 76, of Marion, passed away Feb. 15, 2002 at Caldwell County Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and a member of the American Legion Post No. 111. He served 33 years as a police officer for the City of Marion where he also served as Chief of Police.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Brown of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander and Rev. David Winders officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Wittman
Lena Ruth Wittman, 77, of Evansville, formerly of Marion, passed away Feb. 15, 2002 at her home.
Funeral services were held Feb. 19 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Brantley officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, James Wittman of Evansville; a daughter, Mary Jane Floyd of Las Vegas; four brothers, David Austin Cook, Percy Lee Cook and Ira W. Cook, all of Marion, and Joe Herrin Cook of Vincennes, Ind.; four sisters, Louise Weldon of Newburgh, Ind., Doris Brantley of Marion, Janet St. Clair of Owensboro and Martha Kirk of Dawson Springs; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall David Walden, and her first husband, Harry Walden.

Stone
Harold Winfred Stone, 74, of Princeton, W.V., formerly of Marion, passed away Feb. 14, 2002 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, W.V.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former teacher at Lanse Creuse High School in Clinton Township, Mich., and former director of vocational education at the Pankow Career Center in Clinton Township.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Novikoff of Princeton, W.V.; a sister, Helen Jo Guess of Princeton, Ky.; five grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Layman Stone; a sister, Clara Etta Howerton; and a nephew.
Funeral services were held Feb. 18 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Repton Cemetery.

Harville
Annie L. Harville, 91, of Wilson County, Tenn., formerly of Fredonia, passed away Feb. 13, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital.
Harville was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Caldwell County and worked at several businesses in Fredonia before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Harville.
Her parents were Will and Dottie Cunningham Trammel.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Ken Cummins officiating. Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery.
Woodall
Funeral services for Helen Geneva Blakey Woodall, 87, of Georgetown, were held Feb. 18, 2002 at Johnson's Funeral Home in Georgetown. Burial was in Berea Church Cemetery at Russellville.
Woodall, a retired elementary and high school teacher, once lived and taught in Crittenden County. She passed away Feb. 15 at her home. She was a native of Russellville and was a member of Penn Avenue Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are a son, James Robert Woodall of Wilson, Wyo.; two daughters, Sherrie Stidham of Sadieville and Mary Lowell of Georgetown; a brother, George Blakey of Palm City, Fla.; a sister, Ella Jean Clarke of Boulder, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul A. Woodall.
