Wilma Rogers, 85, of Marion, passed away Jan. 21, 2002 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Burton of Equality, Ill., and Robert Burton of Florida; two daughters, Carol Ringold and Debbie Shewcraft, both of Florida; a brother, Clarence Jennings of Salem; a sister, Christine Driver of Fredonia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Rogers; and a sister. Her parents were Leslie and Ardell Jennings.
Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander officiating. Burial was in Whites Chapel Cemetery.
Turner
Funeral services for Emily Turner, 7, of Uniontown, were held Jan. 25 at Uniontown Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Reynolds officiated. Burial was in City Cemetery in Uniontown.
Turner passed away Jan. 23, 2002 at Methodist Hospital in Union County.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Tammy and Keith Curnel of Uniontown; her father and stepmother, Greg and Amy Turner of Sturgis; three sisters, Kaylynn Curnel of Marion and Kali Mayes and Maggie Turner, both of Sturgis; a brother, Alex Turner of Sturgis; grandparents, Albert and Betty Turner of Morganfield, Katie and Tim Duncan of Morganfield, Tommy and Jackie Lovell of Morganfield, Vernon Clevidence and the late Shelby Jean Clevidence of Uniontown and Donnie and Jeannie Curnel of Marion; great-grandparents, Lorene Thomas of Henderson, Nancy Barger of Morganfield, Alan and Charlene Borah of Morganfield, Reva and Leroy Lovell of Morganfield, D.C. and Grace Loveless of Marion, the late Sam and Ella Clevidence and the late Aubrey and Ina Guess.
Swinford
Anna L. Swinford, 61, of Marion, passed away Jan. 18, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, James Swinford of Marion; three daughters, Karen Swinford, Donna Swinford and Kim Swinford, all of Marion; a son, Steve Swinford of Marion; two brothers, Harold Glore of Dixon and William "Bill" Glore of Sebree; two sisters, Jonell Shearin of Indianapolis and Mary Stone of Henderson.
Funeral services were held Jan. 21 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips and Rev. Bill Crabtree officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Millikan
Funeral services for Al James "Pepper" Millikan, 82, of Marion, were held Jan. 21 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Jacobs, Rev. Robert Phillips, Rev. David Winders and Rev. Roger Holloman officiated. Burial was in Frances Cemetery.
Millikan, who passed away Jan. 18, 2002 at his home, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and earned a Purple Heart for his service in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary K. Millikan of Marion; two sons, James "Clim" Millikan of Eddyville and Willie "Dubby" Millikan of Export, Pa.; seven daughters, Elissa A. Fulton of Mayor, Ariz., Kay Jacobs of Frances, Brenda Millikan, Rita Lynch, Patricia Sisco, Donna Herron and Dana Berry, all of Marion; two brothers, Orlin Millikan of Marion and Ed Millikan of Michigan; five sisters, Sally Tabor of Marion, Mary Butry, Lea Winegar and Anna Icke, all of Missouri, and Clara Belle Green of Wisconsin; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant child, three great-grandchildren, a brother and a sister. His parents were Carroll and Iva Millikan.
Hatfield
Funeral services for Alma R. Hatfield, 79, of Marion, were held Jan. 22, 2002 at Gilbert Funeral Home with David Williams and Rev. Wayne Garvey officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Hatfield, a member of Marion Church of Christ, passed away Jan. 20, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Hatfield of Marion and Rick Hatfield of Louisville; two daughters, Linda McCormick of Lexington and Cathy Miller of League City, Texas; a brother, Cecil Richardson of Louisville; a sister, Willie Finnell of Lexington; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Hatfield; a son, David Hatfield; and a brother, Walter Richardson.

Evans Householder, 87, of Morganfield, passed away Jan. 19, 2002. Funeral services were held Jan. 21 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield with Bro. Tom Kirby officiating. Burial was in Boxville Cemetery in Union County.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennie Summers of Morganfield and Carolyn Ware of Clay; two sons, Jim Householder of Sullivan and David Householder of Marion; two sisters, Lyle Wright of Evansville and Edna Householder of Henderson; two brothers, Elmer Householder of Glendale and Audrey Householder of Morganfield; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Guess
Christal Guess, 94, of Hobart, Ind., passed away Dec. 10, 2001. Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at Rees Funeral Home in Hobart with Rev. David R. Webb officiating. Burial was in Blake Cemetery in Portage.
Guess lived in Hobart, Gary and the Glen Park area for 59 years.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Guess of Centre, Ala., Col. Arlin Guess of Fort Polk, La.; a daughter, Willa Fletcher of Hobart; a sister, Elizabeth Manus of Dycusburg; 17 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Guess; two sons, Calvin Guess and Leon Guess; and a daughter, Violet.

Rushing
Funeral services for Katherine M. Rushing, 66, of Marion, will be held at 10 a.m., Jan. 24, 2002 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Rodney Groff will officiate. Burial will be in Mexico Cemetery.
Rushing, a member of Mexico Baptist Church, passed away Jan. 22 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Surviving are a sister, Elizabeth Sharp of Salem; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Rushing was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rushing; and a son, Robert Rushing.
Johnson
Mamie Croft Johnson, 91, of Salem, passed away Jan. 20, 2002 at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa. She was a member of Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Jan. 24 at Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Alexander and Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Boyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are four daughters, Jo Ann McDonald of Phoenix, Ariz., Thelma Boyle of Snowflake, Ariz., Sharon Babb of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Patsy Brown of Marion; three sons, C.V. Hurst of Gilbert, Ariz., Phillip Hurst of Moulton, Ala., and Tommy Hurst, Jr., of Marion; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Hurst, Sr., and her second husband, Albert Owen Johnson; a grandchild, James Michael Hurst; three brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were William Thomas and Dora Patillo Croft.
McMican
Robert Edwin McMican, 80, of Marion, passed away Jan. 21, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church, the American Legion Post No. 111 and Rotary International. McMican was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta McMican of Marion; two sons, Bob McMican of Atlanta and Monte McMican of Victorville, Calif.; a brother, Don McMican of Allen Park, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Jan. 24 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Dr. Darrell Clarke officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
